“What is going on?” Benes confusedly asked out loud. “Why are you guys fighting with our allies?” No warrior answered him because they were too focused on fighting.
The Saint-tier warrior that wielded a big steel hammer as primary weapon caught up to Benes and assisted him in fighting with the Demons while explaining, “Sir Raulnor, one of our warriors just told me the Executioners and Members of the Red killed our warriors. They could handle the unfair treatment, but being killed without a valid reason, they couldn't withhold their anger anymore.”
“This had to be a trick played by the enemies. The Executioners and Members of the Red who killed our warriors could have been brainwashed by some unknown spells. Give commands for our warriors to stand down and focus on fighting with those Blood Mages for now. I will personally speak with Lord Hardy later to make sure the Executioners and Members who have killed our warriors are going to be held responsible.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Wait! Cancel that. Chase after the masked Blood Mage and kill him. The magic caster he carried on his shoulder is a Vampire Lord. Executing a Vampire Lord is more important. I will finish those Demons then go speak with our warriors after that. Our warriors would probably listen to me more than you.”
“Yes, Sir Raulnor.”
The Saint-tier warrior immediately rushed after Kain while Benes continued to fight with the Demons.
Kain ran slower than usual because he was carrying Mival. Kain heard footsteps behind him. He turned his head around and saw the annoying Saint-tier warrior was running after him. Kain commanded his Floating Blood Ball to automatically shoot out iron spikes toward him. The Saint-tier warrior easily dodged all of the iron spikes while continuing chasing after Kain.
“Put… me down. Run.” Mival softly whispered in a stuttering voice.
“Can you… shut the f**k up?” Kain politely asked Mival.
Kain thought to himself, “What should I do? I only have five percent left in my blood pool. After using it all, I will have to use my mana pool to cast magic spells. Escape by myself is easy, but escape while carrying this asshole is hard."
Kain asked the Saint-tier warrior while running, "Why are you keep chasing after me? Go find someone else to play with you."
"It was Sir Raulnor's order. If you leave the Blood Mage you are carrying to me, I promised not to chase you anymore."
"Deal?"
"Deal."
"Alright, here you go… screw that. Catch me if you can!"
Kain was still trying to figure out what he needed to do but then a Four Wings Angel suddenly flew toward him from the front. Kain gently tossed Mival down on the ground, tapped into his mana pool, and activated [Demon Anatomy I] to transform into a human-size demon in an attempt to fight with the Angel head-on. Kain wanted to reserve the five percent blood pool left to heal himself using [Life Drain] that was why he didn’t cast the [Abyssal Flesh] spell. Kain looked back and saw the Saint-tier warrior ignored Mival who was laying on the ground and continued dashing toward him. Kain took out his two Blood Daggers and got into the defensive stance while planning how to fight with both, the Saint-tier warrior, and the Angel.
"I'm not going to use the blood pools of my Blood Daggers. I needed it to fight with the Shit Head." Kain advised himself.
Kain lunged toward the Four Wings Angel attempted to stab her using his Blood Daggers but the Angel quickly dodged Kain attacked and flew past him.
Kain put his Blood Daggers away and slapped himself in the forehead while thinking, “F**k me! That must be the Angel Warrior summoned by Master Whistler.” Kain rushed back to grab Mival and put him on his shoulder then continued to run away from there. The Four Wings Angel may not be strong enough to defeat the Saint-tier warrior but she should have no problem keeping him busy while Kain makes his escape.
Kain finally made it back to Master Whistler’s location and he harshly threw Mival down on the ground.
Andrella asked, “Are you alright?”
“Yes, Master Whistler. Master Ballard is under some kind of influence by a magic spell.”
Andrella casted [Dispel Magic] on Mival and he immediately got back to normal. Andrella asked, “Master Ballard, what had happened to you?”
“I was fighting with Executioner Lynchfield but then his eyes turned into purple and I was then mesmerized. I heard he named the spell as [Maze]. I was trapped inside my head and couldn't find a way out. It was like an actual maze. I could feel the pain of injuries in my body but there was no way for me to heal myself. I tried to speak but it required a tremendous amount of concentration. I was stuttering and your idiot pupil made fun of me.”
“Instead of bad mouthing me, a ‘thank you’ would be nice.” Kain said.
Mival angrily said, “I didn’t ask for your help. You chose to help me. I owe you nothing.”
“Helping the weak is always my motto. I couldn't let a weakling die like that.”
“No! You can’t speak to Master Ballard like that.” Andrella yelled at Kain for being disrespectful toward a Master.
“My apology, Master Whistler.”
“Not to me, apologize to Master Ballard.”
Kain turned toward Mival, smiled, and said, “Master Ballard, I’m sorry for being too honest.”
“Stop! Master Ballard, please pardon him.”
“Forget it, I won’t argue with a kid.”
Mival activated [Infused Blood] to tap into the blood pool of his Blood Ring then casted [Vampire Lord Transmutation] to transform back into a Vampire Lord. He then casted [Conjure Thunder Eagle] ten times, [Conjure Ice Gargoyle] five times, [Conjure Earth Golem] two times, and [Conjure Wind Walker] once. After giving the command to the Wind Walker to cast [Wind Walk] spells on the Earth Golems, Mival thought to himself, “Executioner Lynchfield, our battle had not over yet. I will not fall for your [Maze] again.”
[Maze], Raynard Lynchfield’s self-created Saint-tier Black Magic spell that turned his eyes into purple color which could be used to trap an enemy in their own mind but only when the enemy looked into Raynard’s eyes for more than three seconds. The only way for the enemy to be back to normal is when he/she could find a way out from his/her mind. Sounds very over-power but [Dispel Magic], a level 35 Light Magic spell, could easily dispel [Maze]. This is why Raynard wouldn’t cast [Maze] when the enemies had a Legend-tier Light Mage closeby.
