Book 2: Chapter 9 (7/9)

After attacking Kain for more than two minutes and causing no damage to him, the vampires started backing off slowly trying to figure out who this powerful man was. Kain asked in an angry tone, “What? Is that all you got? Such a disappointment.” Kain waved his hand as he walked away.

The vampires thought Kain wanted to escape, they grouped up and attacked him again. Once again, no injury can be placed on Kain using just the physical strength of their claws. Kain was a little annoyed by those stupid insects and threw a powerful spin kick, cutting off twelve vampires’ heads in an instant. He sighed out heavily to control his anger and continue touring Shorekeep city in its current state.

“Ah, isn’t that the tavern I was living in?” Kain asked himself as he walked in. “Hoh, seem like everyone is dead.” Kain walked out of the tavern and continued his tour.

“I remembered this guy. He sold me some peaches. Hmm… where is his head?” Kain smiled and talked to himself as he saw a headless corpse lying next to a barrel of peaches. If it wasn’t because of the clothes the headless corpse was wearing, Kain wouldn’t be able to recognize him. Kain looked around and was happy to locate the head, he placed the head next to the corpse and said, “There you go, you’re welcome.”

“What are you doing, boy!?” A deep tone asked behind Kain.

Kain turned around and saw a human appearance figure that had a pair of vampire wings on his back. Kain asked, “I’m helping people, can’t you see?”

“Are you a human or a Lycan?”

“Neither. Oh right, why don't you take a guess?”

“Are you playing games with me? Angering me will bring you great pain.”

“Here we go again. Empty threats from weaklings making me want to puke.”

“I am a Vampire King!"

“Yeah… I kinda figured.” Kain smiled evilly when he saw the Vampire King had ten Magical Blood Rings on his fingers. “I’m going to rob you now.” Kain kindly advised the Vampire King as he walked toward him.

“You still dare to speak to me using that tone?”

One kick from Kain using super speed blew the Vampire King’s head off, leaving him dead standing headlessly. Some of the vampires that were roaming the town killing civilians were quickly faded away as they were created using magic spells.

Kain said, “Iris told me there are no Twin Soul children here, but this Vampire King is a Blood Mage user who convened vampires using the Blood Magic spell. I’m sure the so-called Vampire Kings kept attacking Lycan cities because they wanted to collect blood for their training. Haha… there are ten Blood Rings on his fingers.” Kain quickly took the Magical Blood Rings and a Blood Pendant from this Vampire King then put them inside his Storage Ring.

"Not all vampires fades away which means there are more than one Vampire King still here. I wonder why they don't call themselves Vampire Lords, but Vampire Kings?" Kain started walking around the town to find more Vampire Kings to rob.

Kain quickly located two more Vampire Kings and finished them using his beautiful kicks combined with super speed and robbed all of their Magical Blood Equipment. The transformed Lycans that were fighting with the vampires froze in surprise wondering what made those vampires fade away like that. A female Lycan had been keeping her eyes on Kain and witnessed him kill two Vampire Kings in an instant, she quickly announced it to her Squad Captain about him.

The Captain approached Kain and asked him, "Sir, thank you for helping us out fighting back the Vampire Kings. May I know your name?"

"My name is Kain Bersk." Kain politely stated his name.

"We noticed that you didn't transform, are you a Lycan?"

"I am a human from Toria Continents, not from here."

"That explained it. Normally we would have driven them back much easier but this time they brought three Vampire Kings to attack our city. More than three million guards were killed in this battle and we were on the losing verge. If it wasn't for your help-"

Kain interrupted the Captain, "Tell me where I can find more Vampire Kings. I will kill them all before I leave this world to preserve the peace for the Lycan and human races of this realm."

The Squad Captain nearly cried when he heard Kain say that. He didn't witness Kain fight with the Vampire Kings, but from what the female Lycan told him, this man killed two Vampire Kings with just two kicks. The vampires will also disappear after their Vampire Kings were killed. If a powerful man such as him was willing to help out, this realm will be free of vampires once again.

Kain of course didn't care about the peace of those pathetic Lycans. He just wanted to rob as many Vampire Kings as possible for their Magical Blood Equipment. After receiving the maps on where other Vampire Kings may be located, Kain casted [Conjure Wind Walker] and commanded it to cast [Wind Walk] spells on him and itself. He then flew away from Shorekeep city toward destinations marked on the maps.

"If each Vampire King has ten Blood Rings and one Blood Pendant. Haha… I'm gonna have more Magical Blood Equipment than the entire Blood Mages Guild combined. I will massacre several cities after I finished killing all the Vampire Kings to refill the Blood Equipment I robbed from them. This will be a way for those pathetic Lycans to repay me for killing all the Vampire Kings for them. It looks like the Lycan blood can be stored inside Blood Equipment just like pure human blood." Kain whispered to himself in a happy tone.

Kain located and killed all other eighteen Vampire Kings and robbed their Magical Blood Equipment after granting them their peaceful deaths through decapitation. Kain then learned that the Vampire Kings from this world were not people who were born with Twin Soul. They were normal humans that were born with a Blood Soul which allowed them to study and learn how to use Blood Magic. Because those Blood Mages can’t use secondary Elemental Magic such as Light Magic to revive humans and Lycans they have killed to collect blood, they decided to organize major attacks against cities to massacre people to refill their Magical Blood Equipment. Kain still doesn’t know where those Blood Mages find Magical Blood Stones from, but he won’t waste his time looking for the answer. Kain checked all the Blood Equipment and saw there are more than thirty Blood Rings that have empty blood pools. He decided to massacre a nearby city named Falconwyn to refill all Blood Equipment that needed to be recharged.

"I only have to massacre one city. Oh Lycans, y'all should be grateful for my kindness." Kain said after finished killing all Lycans and humans of Falconwyn city.
