Book 2: Chapter 11 (6/11)

Black-hair Kain and Kimaris started as equal in strength and speed, but Kain slowly got stronger and quicker while Kimaris's strength and speed remained the same.

Kimaris smiled in happiness knowing Kain wasn't weak and asked, "Are you using some kind of spell to enhance your strength and speed?"

Kain said, "No fool, I didn't take you seriously at the beginning and I still don't take you seriously now. It’s a shame that you are named as the strongest Demon Lord. Such bullshit. I still haven't used all of my power yet and both of us could see there is a clear gap between you and me."

Kain was taunting Kimaris and he succeeded as Kimaris transformed into a Four Wings Demon wearing full platinum armor from head to toe. Four horns grew out of his head and the Fire Gauntlets on his hands turned into a pure white color scythe made out of unknown material that kept on releasing a dark energy aura.

Kimaris said, "You have earned my respect. Our duel will now go on to the next level. I will show you the power of my Ursula."

Kain was confused about who was Ursula until he realized Kimaris was talking about his scythe. Kain laughed and continued to taunt Kimaris by asking, "Did you name your scythe Ursula? Guess what, I just named my spear as 'Stupid Ursula'."

“I know you are taunting to make me upset, and you have succeeded. If you think making me upset will cause me to fight recklessly, then you are wrong. Unlike other trash weapons that I can create out of thin air, Ursula is part of my body. In another way to say it, she is my wife. You named your spear ‘Stupid Ursula’ is a huge disrespect against me. For that alone, I will no longer hold any power back. My original intention was to defeat you without killing you. Congratulations, I will now grant you great pain before chopping your body to a thousand pieces.”

“Did you just say that you are married to a weapon? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!” Kain laughed out loud making Kimaris even angrier.

Kain threw his Ice Spear at Kimaris and he dodged it easily but caused his left side to open unprotected. Kain took that opportunity to throw a powerful right leg kick to Kimaris's left side but Kimaris quickly turned and used his horns to block Kain's kick. Kimaris then swung his scythe at Kain but Kain managed to dodge it then flew back ten feet. Kain then opened the palm of his right hand allowing the Ice Spear flew back into it. Kain and Kimaris charged at each other once again and Kain's Ice Spear collided with Kimaris's Ursula, creating powerful explosions that could be heard throughout the entire arena.

Finwe and Crocell continued to fight equally for another eight minutes but then Finwe deactivated the [Thunder Step] spell to reserve his mana pool. Because of that, the tide of winning leaned toward Crocell. Finwe thought, "His Magical Resistance rate is also high. To secure a win against him, I have no other option but to sacrifice my mana pool."

Finwe activated [Mana Infusion] then casted [Thunder Cage], a Saint-tier Thunder Magic spell that he has created. Similar to the [Storm Sword] spell that continuously electrocutes a targeted enemy until death, [Thunder Cage] can also cause no damage and disappear if it was casted on a target that has a Magical Resistance rate higher than Finwe's Magical Penetration rate. Knowing his Magical Penetration rate won't be able to get [Thunder Cage] spell to successfully work on Crocell, that was why Finwe decided to sacrifice his mana pool through [Mana Infusion] to greatly improve the chance of success.

A cage made out of thunder approximately a thousand square feet large appeared and locked Crocell inside in all directions. The thunder cage then slowly gets smaller and smaller, squeezing Crocell while electrocuting him inside it. Crocell attempted to escape by repeatedly striking his greatsword on it but created no effect.

In anger, Crocell said, "My thick skin will-"

Crocell couldn't finish what he was about to say due to the tremendous pain feeling because the thunder cage started to electrocute him using much higher voltage as it became smaller and smaller. Crocell continued smiling as he was looking at Finwe evilly as his skin was peeling off and his flesh started burning which indicated Finwe's [Thunder Cage] spell was working as he intended it to.

Despite feeling a great pain caused by Finwe’s [Thunder Cage] spell, Crocell managed to say, "Your spell was able to damage my thick skin. However, these burning injuries will soon be healed by Amdusias. After I break out of here, you will have nowhere to run!"

Finwe said using a confident tone, "Is that your only plan? Waiting to get healed by Amdusias? She has been dead for more than ten seconds now."

Crocell didn't believe Finwe, he looked around but couldn't find Amdusias. Crocell opened his eyes widely and asked, "Huh? But how?"

"Always take out the healer first. I wouldn't want to waste all of my mana pool on you unless I know you can't be revived after that."

Crocell could withstand the [Thunder Cage] spell until its duration ran out. Nevertheless, that spell had put a huge toll on Crocell’s body as he was no longer able to fight like he was before and got killed by Finwe’s longsword shortly after that.

Kain conjured many creatures to help Finwe out, one of those creatures was a unique one in the disguise of a regular Wind Walker. Well, to be fair. She used to be a regular Wind Walker before stepping into Saint-tier. Her name is Lazela, a Wind Walker who can create and cast Saint-tier Wind Magic spells. Different from other Wind Walkers, Lazela wore a green color Magical Robe embedded with twelve small Magical Mana Stones instead of just regular green Magical Robes other Wind Walkers wore. She also has a pair of green color gloves embedded with three Magical Wind Stones on each. Lazela’s magical power has reached level 100, this made her be the strongest unique creature Kain can conjure. Because Lazela was blended in with other Wind Walkers, the Demon Lords have overlooked her and mistake her as just one of the normal Wind Walkers. That mistake had cost Amdusias her life, as well as the only White Light Mage among all of Demon Lords.

“How do you like angering me now, you bastard?” Kimaris asked out loud as he swung Ursula on Kain’s head, splitting him into two pieces.

Kain lost one of his health pools after receiving that attack from Kimaris. He immediately healed himself using both [Cure] ability and [Life Drain] spell while continuing to fight with three remaining health pools left. Kain thrust his Magical Diamond Ice Spear into Kimaris’s eyes but was unable to cause any damage.

Kain said, “I love it! Your physical strength and speed have increased a lot compared to before transformation. Still, my ‘Stupid Ursula’ will soon take your pathetic life and send you back to where you belong in hell.”
