Anwyn casted another colossal exploding fireball toward Noe and the Demigod Mage as she boldly stated, “God-tier or not, no one can match my magical power!”

The Demigod Mage remained calm as she casted [Ice Solidification], a God-tier Ice Magic spell that she had created. It released a mist-like aura that quickly surrounded two hundred thousand square feet and instantly froze anything and/or anyone that came within its radius. Anwyn’s colossus exploding fireball was frozen and then turned into water that quickly shaped into the mist the moment it flew within the radius of [Ice Solidification].

Finwe had foreseen what would happen, that was why he grabbed Kain, casted [Teleportation] spell, then teleported to two miles away to avoid getting frozen by the [Ice Solidification]. Anwyn didn't bother to fly away as she believed her Magical Resistance rate was powerful enough to help her resist any magic spell going to be casted by the Demigod Mage.

Not far away. At the audience’s area. Everyone was surprised to see Noe Clerico had a God-tier magic caster as his Soul-bound Creature. The only way for a human to get wings on their back is either through transformation using magic spells such as [Demon Anatomy IV] or [Angelic Avatar]. Adrik Volsky was possibly the only Saint Mage who could create a pair of Ice Wings using the Saint-tier Ice Magic spell that he had created. That was why the moment everyone in the audience saw a purple-haired human having a pair of Thunder Wings on her back, they immediately knew she was a Demigod God Mage.

Adrik Volsky sat down and shook his head mumbling to himself, “I was stupid, so stupid. Rogue Mages… Blood Mages Guild… Undercover Agents… all I have planned and done in the past were pointless.”

Etgar heard Adrik mumbled that. He understood Adrik's feeling and softly whispered, “Sir Volsky, you can't lose hope yet.”

“Etgar, everything we have done in the past was useless. Noe Clerico is just like a living God in the lower realms. Not only that he can’t be killed, but he also has a God-tier Mage as the Soul-bound Creature. It is over for us, Etgar. We can’t win against the Mages Council. Watcher Zorim has been playing with us all along. She gave us false hope of believing we can defeat the Mages Council while placing someone as strong as Noe Clerico to protect it. We went from one percent to a hundred percent of success after having Kain Bersk as our leader just to go back to zero percent after learning of Noe Clerico's true power.”

“Sir Volsky, Kain-”

“Kain can’t win this battle, Etgar. Didn’t you see the monstrous fireball created by the female Devil Mage was instantly turned into water and vapor into mist by the Demigod God-tier Mage? If we stay within the radius of that God-tier Ice Magic spell then all of us would have been instantly frozen to death without a doubt. How can anyone in the lower realms defeat a God Mage? If it was a God Warrior, we may still have a chance. But a God Mage? Tell me, Etgar. Tell me how Kain can win?”

Etgar couldn’t answer Adrik’s question. He remained silent and looked toward the direction where Finwe and Kain had teleported to while thinking, “Kain, please win this battle. There is no hope for us if you lose.”

While Anwyn was shocked in disbelief that her body was almost frozen from the [Ice Solidification] spell casted by the Demigod Mage, Noe conjured ten Celestial Angels and commanded them to heal his injuries.

Noe then conjured a Wind Walker and commanded her to transmit his message to Kain using [Whispering Wind] spell to introduce the Demigod to Kain out loud, “This is Gisella Renzo, a Demigod God Mage from the Demiplane. Kain, I didn’t expect your Soul-bound Creature to have upgraded his Thunder Soul to Delusionist Soul. I’m not going to bullshit you though, I nearly died while under the influence of his [Duplicity] spell. If it wasn’t because I was being extra careful by constantly having [Second Life] spell to be activated, I would have died for real. Even though it was a good plan to defeat me, however, it will never work on me again."

Finwe and Kain looked at each other in skepticism. How can Noe know about the Delusionist Soul and [Duplicity] spell? After several seconds of thinking, Kain cleared his head and whispered to Finwe, "Noe Clerico has been living in the lower realms for too long. He must have encountered all types of powerful enemies before me. That must be how he knew about Delusionist Soul just like he knew very well about my Devil Soul." Finwe agreed in agreement by nodding his head and didn't say anything.

Noe laughed after he saw the facial expressions of Kain and Finwe. He then smirked and asked, "Have you ever asked yourself why I choose to be a Monk Warrior instead of the Dark Knight?”

Kain shook his head and honestly answered, “I don’t know.” Noe's Wind Walker immediately transmitted Kain's reply back to Noe.

“Since you are going to be my precious minion, allow me to explain in detail. Monk Warrior specialization itself is nothing special besides the abilities to enhance attack and defense. But if combined with magic training meditation and the powerful enough Magical Equipment, Monk Warrior can have a chance to unlock a hidden ability named [Magic Mantras]. That ability allowed me to temporarily increase my Magical Resistance rate to as high as my mana pool can handle. As you have already known. As a Necromancer Mage, my mana pool is so much larger compared to what I originally have when I was a Conjurer Mage. The only thing that worried me was someone powerful enough to counter my [Unlimited Life] spell, that was why I wanted to make sure something like that could never happen. As soon as I completed the Timeless Dungeon and was allowed to choose a warrior specialization class to upgrade, I chose Monk Warrior specialization without any second thought. Combining the resources of the Mages Council, I have successfully crafted a Magical Pendant that allowed the hidden ability [Magic Mantras] of Monk Warrior to be activated.”

After hearing Noe explained in detail, Kain nodded his head in agreement and said, "Thank you for being honest. About the Demigod God Mage... Ah, what was her name again?"

"Gisella Renzo."

"Right. How did you bound your Conjurer Soul to Gisella?"

"Long story though. Would you like to hear about it?"

"I do. I'm all ears."

"We bonded with each other while Gisella was still a Saint Ice Mage in the realms of Demigod. After Gisella became a God-tier, she decided to wait for me instead of traveling to the higher realms."

"But why?"

"Because the permanent abyss link chained between Gisella and I would be broken if one of us advanced into the higher realms without the other. Just like you and your Evolved Thunder Eagle, Gisella and I have completely trusted each other. The higher realms are full of powerful enemies. We will have a better chance of survival if we travel there together."

“I see now. Thank you for your explanation. I have once thought Monk Warrior was a useless specialization warrior class compared to Dragon Knight, Dark Knight, Warlord, Berserker, Assassin, Skirmisher, and other warrior classes. Notwithstanding, you are forgetting one thing. As long as I cause your mana to deplete, then that [Magic Mantras] ability and [Unlimited Life] spell won’t be able to activate. You haven’t won yet, Noe Clerico. Your honesty will make you lose your life.”

“Hahaha.... Kain, I agreed that you are very strong. You have defeated and made the Devil Overlord be your conjurable creature. I have to be honest though, I didn't see that coming. Lucas, end him.”
