At the close of school, Mrs Hasegawa called Sakiko's mum, Mrs Ishida to pick her up.
At the health center, the Doctor speaks to the Mrs Hasegawa and Sasuke.
"She shouldn't strain herself too much. She needs utmost rest" the Doctor addressed them.
"Yes sir, I would relay that to her mother" Mrs Hasegawa replied.
"Can she leave school and stay home for a day or two and let us watch how she would respond to treatment?"
"Sure Doctor. I would relay everything to her mother and as her homeroom teacher, it is okay by me."
"Okay, that would be all for now, she has been discharged. Once her mother arrives, she can leave."
"Thank you so much Doctor, thank you Mrs Hasegawa" Sasuke bowed as he thanked the both of them.
"We are doing our job, son" the doctor said. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must tend to other matters, goodbye."
"Yes Doctor" they replied in unison as he left.
A few minutes later, Mrs Hasegawa arrived, thanked them and took Sakiko to her car.
In the car, Mrs Ishida drove in silence not once mentioning anything to her daughter, at the passenger's seat.
"Sakiko dear" she finally spoke, breaking eye contact from the road to gaze at her daughter and returned her gaze back to the road.
"I won't be going to the house with you; I have to get back to work."
"All right mum."
"Is there anything bothering you dear?"
"No mum"
"Okay, when you get home, Itsumi would get you something to eat. Take your bath, eat and sleep all right?"
"Yes mum, have fun at work."
Her mother pulled into the drive way and pecks on her head.
"Be strong for mummy okay? I need my baby to be fine."
"Yes mum, thanks" she gets down from the car and closed the door.
When she got into the house, she met Itsumi alone in the living room, reading.
"Welcome Sakiko, I heard you were sick, sorry."
"Hmm yeah thanks."
"Hello dear" her brother Itachi comes downstairs to meet them. "How are you feeling Sakiko? Mum called and informed us."
"Sakiko, stop with this play or games or whatever you want to call it and let people stop talking girl."
"No, I can't do that; it is because you have Itachi-san, so you do not understand how it feels like to feel so incomplete. I don't have that, Sasuke is not alive anymore and then the only person that makes me feels complete, you want me to stop being friends with him huh?"
A tear slid down her face, "I cannot do that Itsumi, I can't."
"Is he really worth all these stress you are going through, you do not know him Sakiko."
"You are wrong Itsumi-chan, Sasuke is nice, sweet, and everything you can think of."
By now, she was already crying buckets; she turned and made to leave then stopped abruptly.
"You'd never understand and I hope you don't. I do not blame you" she ran upstairs after that.
"I shouldn't have said that, she is right isn't she? I can't imagine losing you Itachi."
"And you won't, now are we going to apologize or what?"
*****
Sakiko enters her room and ran to her bed to continue crying. A minute late, Itachi and Itsumi entered and apologized to her.
"I am very sorry Sakiko, I didn't mean to hurt you."
Sakiko quickly turned to her sister and hugged her, "I don't want to stop being friends with him Itsumi" she said in between sobs.
"There, there… It's okay now Sakiko" Itachi consoled her.
After some minutes, she calmed down and let go of Itsumi.
"Sakiko, I love you, but people would talk and I do not want them getting to you,I hate it when they talk about things they do not know."
"By the way, don't you guys see?"
"See what?" they both asked in unison.
"His name is the same as Sasuke's, do you understand now?"
"No, I do not get the drift" Sakiko said.
"Sakiko, your twin brother's name is the same as Sasuke's. Okay we might be related somehow, the resemblance is uncanny. What is his surname?" Itachi asked her.
"Well he didn't say his surname, it's a mystery, he just said I should just call him Uchiha. You might be right Itachi, his name is Sasuke Arnold Uchida"
Shock was registered on Itsumi and Itachi's faces.
"What? What is the matter? Why the shocked expressions on your faces?" Sakiko asked.
They both exchanged a look at each other before looking back at her.
