"He likes you and cherishes your friendship, he wouldn't want to hurt you or spoil that. I suggest you apologize and let him take his time to tell you."

Without waiting for her reply he got from her bed, with his hands tucked in his jeans he gave her a subtle smile before walking away.

He got to the door and turned, "I'll leave you alone now. Goodnight sis."

"Goodnight Itachi and thanks for always being there."

"Anytime."

He turned the door knob and left the room, leaving his sister to set things right.

Door closed.

Sakiko thought for a while, she really didn't mean to hurt his feelings, she thought she was being there for him.

"Sasuke, oh brother. I really can't wait for us to be together and not part. I want to be here with you, know you better, understand you, play, laugh and cry with you."

She picked her phone up, after making her decision and dialed his number.

"The number you have dialed is switched off... "

She looked at her phone screen again to make sure it was Sasuke she called and dialed the number a second time.

"The number you have dialed is switched off... "

"Let's see if he is online or if he left a message there."

Her finger scrolled the icons on her phone till she found the icon she was searching for.

She clicked on his name and saw he left her a message.

"Hey Sakiko, I'm sorry for my behavior earlier today. Please leave me a message me when you're online and I'll call you. Let's talk."

She locked her phone screen and dropped it on the bed by her side.

"This was when I hung up and went for dinner. He asked me to leave him a message but why is his phone switched off all of a sudden? Did something happen to him or is he very busy?"

So many questions ran through her mind, but she couldn't find a suitable answer for any of them.

She thought of calling Father Tanaka but it was already late and she didn't intend on disturbing him or bringing him into the issue they had.

Finally she came to a conclusion.

She picked her phone back up and typed away.

"I'm sorry too. I'm trying to call but it's saying switched off. Hope nothing is wrong?"

She dropped the phone and made her way to her reading table and chair.

She needed to do something to get her mind thinking straight and off him.

Whenever she felt so uneasy and needed to clear her mind, she always drew.

She picked up a her drawing book and pencils and began to draw her heart away.

By the time she was almost done, she looked up away from her paper. When she looked back down, she couldn't help but face palm herself.

Unconsciously she had drawn Sasuke's face on her drawing book.

Even absentmindedly he occupied every part of her thoughts.

She quickly rushed for her phone on the bed and sent him a message.

*********

The next morning came, she hoped to see him so they could talk and know how he was doing.

And so she rushed off to school earlier than usual.

"Mum, dad, Itachi, Itsumi, I am off."

"Sakiko, wait, you haven't had any breakfast," her mother said appearing from the kitchen.

"Don't worry mum, I've got to hurry."

"You are not even late. What's happening in school today? You are unusually early."

Mrs Ishida asked, her face held a mixture of two emotions. She was confused and stunned as well. This was the first time Sakiko ran out of the house for school like this.

"Okay, come and have your lunch pack and the driver would drop you off."

"No need mum, she would have to wait for some minutes more, he hasn't gotten the car ready."

She took her lunch pack from her mum and kept it in her bag. She turned her head and saw her brother walking towards her.

"Good morning brother."

"Morning Sakiko, how was your night?"

"It was okay."

She was about stepping pass him when he raised an eye brow at her.

"I gotta go Itachi. What's the matter?"

Since his sister could not guess the problem, he finally voiced it out. "What we discussed yesterday?"

"Ohh, that's why I am in a hurry. Would give you the details when I return. Ciao."

Before he could respond she was already out the door and on her way to school.

He turned around and his eyes met with his mother's questioning gaze.

"Do you need me to ask or are you going to spill?"

"Well it's nothing mother. Ciao."

He copied his sister and dashed upstairs, away from his mother and her unending questions.
