Chapter 7 - Important introductions

Sadie was already waiting with one of the guest speakers who was going to introduce her on stage. They were discussing that nights events and other speakers seeing the order they were going to be presented.They spoke outside of the main room to be able to talk without any interruptions and hopeing her missing brothers would show up.Seeing them walking up towards her she politely excused herself.

"Its about time you both finally showed up. what was I suppose to do up on stage?they're expecting all three siblings and the president.that is obviously not me!we are about to go on stage in 5 minutes!"

"temper,temper sister...we're here already.we just had a bit of a delay."

Inside the main event room as everyone waited Liv was sitting down with cam and Theo.

"Well did the fresh air help you a bit?"Theo questioned trying to get closer to liv.

"If I were in your shoes I wouldn't of run off.I dont see what is so stressing about talking to people who are higher ranked socially than you."cam interrupted rolling her eyes.

"Enough camille this isn't the time or place to be throwing a temper tantrum." Adam scolded her as he sat back down to his seat."

"If I have done something to offend you I'm sorry! but you know well I only come to these events to support you all."liv told her feeling upset at the way her friend was acting.

"Dont apologize she's just imm.a.t.u.r.e"Theo added."please ...says the guy who cant even man up and admit..."cam replied starring directly at Theo.

Hearing enough out of her ,and interrupting her sentence Adam quickly intervened"enough!! what he does is his business not yours. I'm about to go on stage in a few minutes and it will be difficult to hear them call me with all this arguing. what is going on with you all?Dont embarass me or the company with this scene your causing."Silence fell between them after being scolded.

Once the facilitator went up on stage to discuss that nights events everyone in the audience grew quiet listening to his words and introduction on that nights speakers."Now here to discuss about Hayes entertainment we have the beautiful Sadie Hayes!!!"hearing her name Sadie walked on stage waving at the audience. "it is such a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to be here.even though I would enjoy taking credit to the companies succes but it wouldnt be fair to my brothers.I am the CFO(chief financial officer) of Hayes entertainment.The COO(chief operations officer) would be Carter Hayes...carter come up here."

"His brown hair and light blue eyes make him look so cute!!!I need to meet him!!!"cam whispered to liv the moment she saw Carter walking up on stage. typical cam ,all it took was a cute guy for her to forget her big tantrum from just minutes ago.Theo glanced to look at liv hopeing she didn't show any interest in the man on stage.He felt satisfied seeing that it was on Camille getting all hyped and not liv.Maybe he might actually end up with liv after he reveals his true feelings.He felt that everything will go his way once he got the chance to speak with her.

"well enough about Carter ,"Sadie joked "it's time to introduce our older brother and CEO (chief executive officer) Liam Hayes!!!"

with all the applause a well built man with blue eyes and blonde hair came up towards the stage. The two younger siblings would usually be the ones making appearances so it was as rare sight to be able to see him.At that moment you hear several women around the room whispering to each other about the attractive man speaking on stage. Once she realizing who was on stage Liv gasped in surprise. Both cam and Theo turned to her.

"forget the other brother this guy is hot!!!! by the sound of things you agree too huh?"cam said looking at Theo.

"its not that ..well I'm not saying no but he's ..."liv tried to explain as she whispered not loosing her gaze from the man on stage.

Following her gaze Theo looked at the CEO giving his speech.feeling jealous and a bit of anger towards that man he felt he had to do something soon.

As Liam gave his speech he looked around at the audience spotting Liv on the right side of the room with another young lady on her right side and the man that he saw holding her hand when they went inside on her left side.He felt like he was hypnotized by her beauty.

Theo noticed right away that liv caught the attention of the CEO since he didnt loose his sight of her. reacting to that sight Theo quickly grabbed her hand that was on the table.With that man seeing that she was holding hands he would forget about her for sure.

At seeing the man next to her hold his hand he snapped out of it.How can he forget she was there with someone else.

Liv immediately pulled her hand away from Theo."What the hell is wrong with you let go!!!"liv reacted crossing her arms.

chuckling at what just happened cam whispered to liv"do you want to trade seats?"nodding her head liv traded places with her right away."cam scooted closer to Theo to whisper "you know he was looking at me right? why would anyone here be interested in her?"

Annoyed by his sister Theo whispered back " why do you call yourself her best friend if all you've done your whole life is degrade her because of her past? "rolling her eyes at his words "what do you know?"

Once all the other guests went up to speak the only one left was Adam.Seeing Adam standing up from the table where liv was sitting he noticed that liv was no longer next to the man she was next to.Liam figured that was his way of trying to talk with her.

After Adams speech the facilitator went back on stage to let everyone know that they were to continue on to the grande ball room to enjoy music,and dancing. Everyone in the room started walking to the next door where the music was coming from.

"Liv can we talk real quick before going in that room?"Theo asked her again.

"not right now Theo please we'll talk later!" she told him still looking upset disappearing into the crowd.
