Chapter 9 - True Intentions

Seeing him made her heart soar.She had dated guys before but she had never met someone who she felt an instant connection with.There was something about him that made her feel secure and a safe.She felt that she could be herself around him even though they just met.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have walked out on you like that.You didnt deserve that ,you have been so respectful towards me" Liv apologized.

"You did nothing wrong. there is no reason to be in a relationship where you don't feel happy or comfortable in any way"Liam told her as he sat next to her."Oh no ...hes not my boyfriend if that's what your thinking.I only consider Theo as my brother nothing more.I came her as my best friend cam's plus one.They have done so much for me that this is the least I can do."

Quietly observing her as she spoke he felt that she was being sincere with all she told him."what is it about you that is so different from every other girl?"he asked her.

While there conversation was going on Camille stood on the other side listening. hearing that made her so angry but determined to win over Liam.she walked back inside before she got spotted and went searching for her uncle to inform him that liv had been messing around with several of the heads of different agencies. "look I know she's my best friend but I also worry that she will do something to ruin the name of our family business.you have worked to hard for some ungrateful brat to ruin our name."cam complained to her uncle making a very worried face.Over the years she had taken drama classes and even had a private tutor she was paying for in secret to one day show her uncle that she can become much more than a business woman. She grew up always wanting more than what she had.Seeing that there are more wealthy and powerful men around made her feel that she deserved more than what her family business was providing.

"I appreciate you telling me this. I will make sure to put a stop to it and send her home.look for Theo and notify him that he is to drive her home immediately.Please don't be seen with her right now,I would hate for your perfect reputation to be ruined by the likes of her."Adam told cam as he put his arm around her to comfort her."To think she would do such a thing to me ...all I've done is support her and took her out of the streets.I feel so betrayed right now"she continued wiping her fake tears away.Cam felt like she had finally beat liv to the siblings. she was to make sure he fell for her and sent liv out of the picture.In her mind she felt her needs came first before anyone else and she was willing to do anything to make sure that happens."I guess she finally decided to show her true colors"Adam told cam trying to console her.

while cam was inside talking to her uncle,Liv was still outside talking to Liam.

"If you dont mind might we exchange numbers? of course with the condition that you dont share it with anyone please"he continued. "of course you dont have to worry about that. I would love that honestly I think there is more to you I would like to know but sadly my friend has my phone at the moment" liv replied "how about instead I give you my number and since you gave a condition I'll put one too."

"my , getting really confident are we?"he joked smiling at her. "At the park we first met today there is a bridge in the middle of the park it is more secluded. There are alot of trees so it will be rather hard for anyone to see the CEO of Hayes entertainment" Liv told him. "very well then... if that is the condition then I completely agree"Liam replied giving her his cellphone to save her number.

Searching around for Liv in worried state Theo and Adam started walking outside to see if liv was in the garden.Adam had already instructed for Theo to call their driver and bring another car to take both Theo and liv home.They had both split up directions.Theo headed to the front and Adam continued his his way to the garden in search for liv. As he walked closer to where she was he immediately recognized her voice laughing with another man.He didnt want to believe what his niece had told him but hearing her flirting around with someone made his blood boil. How could she try to ruin his business and family name?was a home and a caring family not enough for her growing up?all of theses things crossed his mind making him wonder if he had done the right thing by allowing her to be part of his family all those years back when she was alone in the streets.

As the couple were enjoying the conversation a loud and upset voice called her."Liv what are you doing out here? I have been searching for you all over to find you outside in the dark alone with a man doing who knows what!!!" Adam walked up to her in a fast pace not realizing that the other person was the CEO of Hayes entertainment.

"We're just having a conversation, nothing bad..."liv tried to explain"I dont want to hear it!!!the car is waiting to take you home immediately.Dont make this a big scene"Adam yelled at her.

"Forgive the interruption but is there a problem?" Liam asked.turning immediately to him, Adam realized that it was Liam. Feeling embarrassed he started to aplogize for her behavior and pulled her away.Liam stood there watching them leave he wanted to intervene but didnt want to make things worse for liv.

"Uncle Adam...what is going on?I haven't done anything wrong....please explain to. me what I did wrong.."She kept saying trying to grasp the situation "I'm not a little girl for you to be treating me this way!"she finally said getting him to stop.

"cam was right.i didn't want to believe it but seeing you flirting around makes me wonder what your intentions are."He took her to the car where the driver was waiting already."why would cam say that?"liv questioned."well its a good thing she did for your own good"he replied opening the door for her.

Theo was already sitting in the car listening to them argue back and forth.Finally he was going to have her alone for himself he thought watching her.Liv got in the car upset and just sat the entire ride home without talking.

while Liam went back inside looking for his siblings he felt a tap on his shoulder. A tall blonde woman was standing looking at him with a big flirtatious smile holding two champagne glasses."Looks like you might need a drink"cam told him handing him a glass.
