Chapter 13 - the wait

Liv felt so betrayed but couldn't tell camille how she felt. She knew either way cam was so excited about the date she couldn't bring herself to say anything to her about Liam.All she wanted at that moment was to be somewhere alone where no one would mention Liam and cam.. At least for a while until she cleared her mind.Her only place would be the bridge at the park.it was always so peaceful and isolated from everything else.

Hanging up the phone Liam looked at his sister who was paceing around the living room upset."ok so you make sure to tell her that there was a misunderstanding and that everything Will be resolved so that won't happen again."Sadie continued I am to sign a contract with her uncle's company tomorrow but I need this to be resolved first." Hearing her say that he got up and left to his room to get ready to leave. He was done hearing his siblings go on as if everything he did was a mistake.He managed to get to where he is on his own and included them since he cared about them ,but couldn't stand being treated poorly especially his siblings.

while all this is going on paparazzi were tipped off about Liam having a reservation at a restaurant with the mysterious blonde.Adam made sure to take full advantage of the situation and had already made a surprise that neither his niece and Liam expected at all.

An hour later as liv sat on the bridge deep in her books she couldn't help but stop to look at her reflection in the water.what have I done to deserve all of this?she questioned herself.she couldnt hold back the tears any longer and let the tear drops create a ripple in the water flowing under the bridge.Hearing faint footsteps in the distance she cleaned her face before anyone could see."Is everything ok love?"hearing that familiar voice made her heart skip with joy and surprise."your here....i thought you had a date with the mysterious blonde." she told him feeling all her emotions clash together causing her to look back down at her reflection."am I sensing a bit of jealousy from you?"he questioned looking down at the water to see her reflection."dont be so full of yourself"she chuckled hearing his comment."I'm not but I managed to see you smile even if it was for a second"he told her as she turned to face him."look I understand that I am not of your class and that is a big reason for you choosing my best friend."she told him."your wrong...nothing is as it is being said.Im not one to care about what social status people are nor was I looking to be in a relationship with anyone"Liam told her. hearing him say that made her heart hurt.so she was just a toy..a pawn in his games.

Seeing her face he realized what she was thinking."dont get me wrong. I just never found the right person that is.... until I met you." he gently moved her hair from her face placing it behind her ear and c.a.r.e.s.sing her cheek."I'm not a toy for you to play games with.please if you want a mistress to have fun with look elsewhere."she said placing her small delicate pale hand on his hand."what can I do to prove to you that there is nothing going on with the person you say is your friend?"he asked her feeling upset thinking about everything."You could have done so by messaging me instead of sending cam all those messages."she snapped back."what are you talking about? I did send you a message and never got a response from you....here look for yourself."Liam told her handing her his cell phone with the message he had sent her that night."I never got that...I assumed you ..."she started saying as he cut in "you assumed I met your friend and decided to go with her.I can assure you I'm not that type of person certain circ.u.mstances caused for all the uproar this morning." Liv felt confused as she thought about things hearing him speak."look I have to meet your friend in 20 minutes to clear things up.To be honest after last night there is something about that family that I don't trust."Feeling a bit offended liv quickly turned to him " that is rude of you to say. they are my family and I dont appreciate you talking that way about them."

"look I'm sorry I didnt mean to upset you ...just be careful.I would hate for you to get hurt in any way. you're not like them in any way.please give me a chance to prove to you that you are the only one I want to know and have in my life."Liam told her as she looked at him with their hands still holding on to each other."we dont know each other well enough yet.I dont really like others knowing about my life.what is it about you that makes me feel like we..."liv said as they embraced. their faces were so close to each other that they could see their reflection in their eyes. " We belong together...I...get the same feeling with you"Liam said as he looked into her mesmerizing blue eyes filled with so much love in them.Not realizing it they both slowly but unexpectedly felt each other's lips as their eyes closed and were both holding on to each other.Liv felt the warmness of his lips with hers as he firmly but gently embraced her.They had never felt so much love for a person as they did in that moment as their tongues entwined. How liv wished that this moment would last a lifetime.

Slowly pulling away from each other they both looked into their eyes filled with hope and happiness."I will wait how ever long is needed to be with you and prove to you that you are the woman of my dreams."Liam told her as they faced each other holding hands.

"For now all I ask is for you to clear things up.Lets get to know each other more without anyone knowing yet"she told him.He smiled at her as he embraced her and placed a kiss on her cheek."I'll do what ever is in my power to make things right.we can meet here when ever you would like. it doesnt matter the time just call or message me.Ive got to go...Im already late as it is"he said seeing that he was already 10 minutes.They hugged once more before departing.

Camille sat in the restaurant feeling upset about how her date was late. she felt like all eyes were on her feeling pity for waiting on someone who stood her up. She had taken so much time getting ready and choosing the best outfit that can make any man drool over her. Her royal blue silk dress fit her figure perfectly making her look like a model.she made sure it was short but elegant enough to show her status. The waiter came to her table filling her glass again with wine.she was about to leave after seeing that it was 30 min. later than the scheduled date he had given her to meet.without knowing there were a few people in that restaurant keeping an eye on her table waiting to snap pictures of her and Liam to be leaked out after being tipped off that there was a surprise in store for them.

They managed to snap a few unexpected pictures of her impatiently waiting for her date to arrive.At that moment someone went and sat at the table where cam was sitting causing her jump a little in surprise.
