Chapter 237 237 Seventh Pac

"You don't play fair Darling. You make me want you but you are right I need to rest for the sake of our little one. Kisses will have to suffice at least for now." Kitty sat up and watched as Leo pulled his shirt on.

Leo smirked and pulled on his shirt. "We don't have anything that needs to get done at the house but come downstairs when you are ready and we will have breakfast together since you are now too awake to sleep." Leo leaned over and kissed her cheek before leaving the room.

Kitty touched her cheek and smiled. 'So sly he is. I love him just the way he is. The dream I had last night was not something easy to take in but I will act like I saw nothing.' Kitty got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom she ran the water for a shower. She waited for the water to reaches the perfect temperature before getting under the water.  The water ran down her body and the baby started kicking. "Good morning to you my little one. You are always so active when I am under the water."

Leo walked down the stairs and went to the kitchen. Carlos and Nathan were working in the kitchen with ease. "I see that the two of you are working well together."

"Good morning, Sir! This kitchen is absolutely amazing and one is able to cook a lot of different things all at once. Carlos is a great teacher." Nathan smiled and flipped over the bacon that was in front of him.

"Good morning, Leo. This kid is amazing and it is super easy to cook with him. All I have to do is explain what I want to be done once. He is working hard on doing as I have asked. It is nice to have help that listens. Not that Cindy isn't good enough but she will be occupied with Tiana and soon enough the baby." Carlos smiles and flips the pancakes on the flat top grill with ease.

"I am glad that the two of you are getting along. I will ask Kitty to check in on Kyra, although I think she was planning on doing that already." Leo looks at the pancakes and sees that there was a few that were in the shapes of bears.

Carlos chuckles and plates up the pancakes. "I know that it is silly but I thought making a few special pancakes might be fun and before I knew it, I had made a dozen. I know that I am spoiling her but she is up and so is Cindy. They are in the living room."

"That is good Kitty is awake and will be down shortly. Have you seen Ketan, Sylvie, and Emerson yet?" Leo looked at Carlos.

"Nope, I haven't seen any of those three yet this morning." Carlos pours more batter on the grill and waited for them to start to bubble.

Kitty stepped out of the shower and dries herself off and gets dressed. "Ketan you are in the bedroom I will be out in a moment." Kitty finished getting ready and stepped out of the bathroom while brushing her hair. "What can I do for you so early in the morning?"

"When the time comes Kitty, I want you to help me with something." Ketan was sitting on the couch.

"You know that it is not possible, I can not interfere with what must happen. You should know how she feels about this as well. I dreamed about it last night. I know what happened that is the other reason that I will not help. I know what must be done. Besides, it will not happen anytime soon. You are fretting over something that you do not have any control over." Kitty finished brushing her hair.

Sylvie appeared next to Ketan. "I have been hunting for you all night. Every time I thought that I had caught up to you you would leave."

Ketan gave Kitty a pained look and then looked at Sylvie, "I have been at the house all night. You were merely chasing after an image that I created so that I could do something but you figured it out before I finished what I wanted to get done. Sylvie, are you that adamant that I choose a partner?"

Sylvie was going to scold Ketan further stopped what she was going to say. "...you will choose a partner? What is the catch?"

"Here is my deal, I will choose a partner and I will start feeding from her but you must live your life to the very fullest. I will take over the clan as I know that is something that you want. All I ask is that you do not bring up our past when I am around. I know that you will explain it to Kitty and Leo I will listen in but after that, you will not mention it around me. I want you to live happily. For as long as you can." Ketan looked up at her sadly.

"I, Sylvie the twin of Ketan, promise that I will not mention our past around you after telling Kitsune and Leo. I will do this in with the restrictions that Ketan picks a partner and with that, I will promise to live my life to the fullest." She cut the palm of her hand and her blood dripped on the ground.

"I, Ketan the twin of Sylvie, promise to pick a partner so that my dear sister does not worry about me. I will hold my end of the deal and listen to our past one last time but will not listen to it again. So long as Sylvie lives her life to the fullest then I will do the same." He cuts his palm and drips his blood on top of her blood that splattered on the ground. The blood hisses and it began floating in the air.

Kitty holds up her hand and the two splatters of blood form the symbol of the vampire clan that they both belong to. "With me as the bearer of your vow. I promise to see that both parties follow through." The mark floated up and landed on Kitty's hand. She closed her hand and the mark disappeared. "This marks the seventh time I have beared witness to your guys' pact. Each time you guys both follow through. Ketan, you should follow through with the partner soon."
