Chapter 263 263 Sam is Shocked

"Okay! I will wait for her by the front door. I must congratulate her right away." Sam took off and waited by the door.

"Sorry, about that. You know how Sam is. I knew that Kitty was her best friend even though I found it strange that Kitty did not stay in the same place for too long. I thought that after seeing her at the engagement party that maybe she had a stalker and that was why she moved around so much. I told Sam about my job during this vacation and she said if I did anything to Kitty she would kill me in my sleep. I think that they have a great friendship." Will watched as Sam took off.

"Yes, it is good to have a great friend. I know that you will not do anything to my wife to be. I was thinking that we should announce our engagement soon. I was going to do it after the baby was born and she was introduced to the association as the Advocate but now that our daughter has been born I do not know what to do first. Do I wait or do I say something right away?" Leo sighed and looked out the window.

"This called for a celebration!" Will got up and went to the humidor and pulled out two cigars. "Here you go. I want to have a drink with you as well. As for what to do, I think that you will find the right timing." He cut the end of his cigar off and then lit it up before pouring two glasses of bourbon.

Leo took the cigar and cut off the end and then lit it up. "Thanks, Will. I will do it when I feel that the timing is right. I could use a drink as well." Leo sat down on the chair.

Kitty looked at the stars than at Brielle, "are you ready to join our world? If you are then I will approve you becoming his partner. Just know that this is a lifetime goal and not something that you can take back once you make the choice. I want you to know what you are getting yourself into."

"I will make my choice by the end of what I see. I am already a part of this world since I am a hunter but I know what you mean. When will this happen and who will come to get me?" Brielle asked as she looked at Kitty and then smiled sweetly.

"Yes, you do. I will let you make your choice. When he bites you this time there is a chance that he will take enough to make you weak. If he does I will stop him. That is why you have to stop me. I tend to be overprotective of those that I am close to. If I am in the right mindset it will be me but if not it will be Sylvie or Ketan. I do not know how I will be on Friday but just know that I made myself suffer and I didn't listen to Sylvie. In about eight years I will no longer need to do this. Come let us go back to the house. I am sure that Sam knows about the baby and has a thousand questions for me." Kitty chuckled and walked back to the house.

Brielle looked at Kitty and was surprised that she had admitted that she was not going to be in the right mindset. 'I think that I was told something that is dangerous but I want to help them both out.' Brielle followed Kitty, "I will do what I can. I am glad that I met you, Kitty. I am looking forward to getting to know more about you." She smiled then opened the door.

"KItty!!! You didn't call me! I was so surprised when I heard Leo say that you had the baby. So is it a girl or boy and what is the baby's name? Also, have you taken a picture of the baby?" Sam fired off a few questions but held the rest back.

"I only had the baby today. Her name is Charlette  I have not had time to take a picture yet. I have been sleeping most of the day. I was exhausted after everything that I went through today. Let me text Sylvie and get her take a picture." Kitty pulled out her phone and texted Sylvie. ~Please can you take a picture of Charlette and send it to me. I don't have a picture on my phone and Sam wants to see a picture of her.~

"Such a unique name. How is she doing in the house so far and is she fussy?" Sam waits to see a picture of Charlette happily. "Brielle, did you have a good conversation with Kitty?"

"I did. It is nice to finally have some people that I can trust. I think that it is important that we all have friends that we can trust and it is not every day that a baby is born. I am truly blessed." Brielle smiled at Sam. Sylvie appeared behind Kitty holding Charlette. "How about you take her before she gets fussy. I changed her so you should be okay and I will help you take her back home."

Sam looked at Sylvie in shock but recovered quickly. "Kitty, can I hold her? I want to hold your daughter."

Kitty chuckled, "thank you, Sylvie." Kitty picked up Charlette. "Hello, Sunshine. How are you doing? I can see that you are awake. Mommy wants to introduce you to my friends. The loud one is Sam she will be a good person, even if she scares you and she needs to calm down or else she will not be able to handle the fact that she is only a few weeks pregnant herself and the other friend is a coworker of daddy's but she is a kind lady. Brielle is quiet but she is really sweet under the exterior."
