Chapter 271 271 I Will See You Again Soon

"Father, you took my friend away and didn't say anything after sixteen years do you think it is fair for you to talk about such things? Let me in so that I can take her home." Ketan placed his hands on the barrier.

"You know very well why we did such things but you can come in. I am sure that she will awaken soon anyways." Lucifer snaps his fingers and walks back to the entrance of the underground house. He walked into the room as Kitty collapsed and rushes to catch her. "You shouldn't have tried standing yet."

"I am sorry, I am impatient. It is my fault and not Ahriman's fault. You can't blame it all on him." Kitty leaned on him for support.

Ketan rushed into the room and saw that Kitty was leaning on Lucifer. "You seem weaker than before."

"You have no idea what I go through each time I drain a target. Amaris is suffering greatly because of me. I feel like I took too much all to calm down my thirst for more. Did you know Ahriman that I have met your mother and father every year around this time? I can get by the barrier whether or not I am welcomed. As I was the one that built the barrier in the first place. I built the barrier when I was only nine years old. I know everything that has happened to your parents and what they went through." Kitty glared at Ketan. "I have been a part of your family before you two met me. I came into your parents' care when I was only six months old."

"She needed essence to live and as a child, I taught her how to drink. What better way to teach her then to have me a vampire teach her our ways." Amaris got up off the couch and glided up to Kitty. "Kitsune, you still haven't taken enough but I can see that you will last until the time you have chosen and the little one will awaken soon. Since my son has appeared here I will have him take you back. My commands hold no sway over you and you will soon take your rightful place." Amais touched Kitty's cheek. "Miña filla, volve pronto."

"It is unusually for you to become a teacher, Mother. Especially to someone that is not of our kind." Ketan couldn't understand what was being said and looked confused at Amaris.

Kitty rested her cheek on Amaris's hand. "Volverei nunha semana, Amaris. Ketan, Take me back to the house. I just need to rest a bit more and I will be able to make it through the rest of this week. I am no longer a ticking time bomb." She stumbled from Lucifer's hold and staggered to Ketan who caught her.

"Bring your baby girl with you. I would like to meet her. Oh, and if the partner you have is worried, you may bring him along as well. I will transport all three of you." Lucifer watched as Kitty stumbled away but didn't move to help her.

Ketan reached out and supported Kitty and glared at Lucifer. "I will come along as well so let me in as well."

"I will bear that in mind. I will see you again soon." Kitty looked at Ketan glaring at Lucifer.  She shook her head sighing.

"You can come but that does not mean that I will let you in right away. I have something that I need to say and you do not have anything to do with what I need to say so I will not invite you to hear what I will say. So you can stay outside of the barrier and wait. Now off you two go." Lucifer looked down at his wife and saw that she was clutching his shirt and he scooped her up and left the room.

"If you don't take us back, I will Ketan. Do not worry about what your father said he was just looking out for me. I already knew that this would happen." Kitty closed her eyes and focused on moving the essence in her body.

"Tch." Ketan transported then back to the house and his facial expression was still dark as he let Kitty go. He went to Brielle and the two disappeared.

Kitty took a step to Leo and got lightheaded if it wasn't for Sylvie being so close she would've fallen. "I am okay, I took enough essence to last until Friday. Not that I had much of a choice. She was as pushy as ever."

Sylvie steadied Kitty, "that sounds like Mother. She always treated you like one of her own even after you were no longer able to meet with her. I know that I have not been able to meet with either father nor mother but I know that they are still alive. As long as they are still living I will not complain. I am blessed that they brought me into the world." She leads Kitty to the couch.

"They know that you are getting weaker, that is why he called me back. The essence I took was delicious. I didn't take more then enough to last the week but I know if I wanted more she would've given it to me." Kitty sat down and looked at Leo, "Darling are you upset?"

"I am not upset, I just panicked when you disappeared from in from of me. I was scared that I lost you. Ketan took off after you before we could even really process everything." Leo pulled her into his embrace. "I was scared because you went from vision to disappearing."

"Oh, that's right. You need to go to the office and release Alario. If he does not get freed tomorrow someone will try to poison him. Scarlet would be most upset if he dies when you said that you would free him." Kitty looked at the cradle.

Luke got up and went to the cradle, "good morning, Charlette." Luke picked her up and smiled. He brought her to Kitty and smiled gently.
