Chapter 279 279 Kill Me, Please

Leo sensed something was off about the path and looked forward. He ran towards the door that was there and opened it slowly. If it was not for the mask the scent would've floored the group of three.

"Wow, that is really strong. I suggest that you both leave the masks on until we leave this place. The abnormal heartbeat is coming from the center of the room that is also where the smell is coming from. I don't need a mask. I will use my magic as I have taken more than enough blood than I would have needed." Ketan looked into the room and waited as his eye adjusted. He walked over to the light switch.

Leo followed Ketan into the room and sighed, "this is not looking like it will not be easy anymore."

Carlos stood by the door and waited until the lights got turned on.

The lights flickered on and in the middle of the room was a cryo tank filled with a lime green liquid and there was a female body floating inside. She turned and looked at the people that had entered the room. She mouthed the words, 'kill me, please.'

Leo walked up to the tank and tapped on the glass then went to the computer and started it up. He clicked a few buttons. After trying to figure out how to shut down the machine he pulls out the rod and turns it into the spear and stabs the glass outside. A small piece of glass chips off and starts to crack. "If I didn't have the heightened abilities I think I would not be able to make a dent in this."

"Leo, do you think that is safe to be doing?" Carlos looks at Leo in shock.

"I do not think there is any other way to help the person inside but at the same time, I do not think that she will be able to survive." Ketan walked up and touched the glass and looked at the girl in the glass. "You were an experiment. We will help you escape this place." Ketan took Leo's spear from him and smashed the side of the pole over the crack causing fissures to slowly spread throughout the glass. Liquid started to seep through until the glass gave way and everything poured onto the floor.

The girl slowly fell forward towards Ketan. Ketan caught her and looked at her. "I will not survive living outside the tank. Vampire, may I request that you take my blood?" She whispered softly in Ketan's arms.

"Was freeing you the wrong thing to do. I thought by freeing you, you would be released from imprisonment." Leo looked at the girl and saw that she was weak.

"Are you sure? I won't be able to stop if your blood is delicious. I could turn you into my kind if you wanted." Ketan was looking into the crystal blue eyes.

"My name is Amelia. I am a water Dragon and I have had too many experiments done on me. So, I will no longer be able to live without the nutrients that was in that liquid. Turning me into your kind is not a wise choice. I don't think I would make it but thank you for your kindness. You should hear my heartbeat is weakening." She weakly smiled and her heartbeat was slowing down.

"A water dragon is a rare species and there is nothing that you can do to help her. Carlos you would need more sleeping powder to keep me asleep. I felt a connection click in my dream. Amelia, I think I know how to fix you. All I need is for you to trust me." Kitty reached out her hand.

"I have always trusted you Kitsune but you have been suffering too much." Amelia lifted her hand towards Kitty.

"Damn, and I thought I used the right amount. Your magic broke down the compounds at a rapid pace. How did you find us that fast?" Carlos glared at Kitty.

'My love," Leo walked up to her and gave her a hug, "if you think that you are able to help her out then I will leave her in your care. I would prefer that she would not die."

Slowly Ketan walked towards Kitty, "water is your specialty. Do you need anything from me?" he handed Amelia over to Kitty and stepped back.

"My body metabolized it as soon as it was consumed. I only acted like I fell asleep. Although I did sleep a bit though, it was Amelia's voice that awakened me. I felt her presence so I came here specifically for her." She relaxed in Leo's hug before accepting Amelia. "Now that I have gotten what I came here for, I will leave you guys to finish what you have started. When she is healed I will let you know. It's been five years since you disappeared, I am grateful that you are still in the world of the living."

"It is good to be back. If I had known that you were nearby I would've asked for you. Take me to the place and we shall see if I am fated to live or perish from this world." Amelia closed her eyes to conserve energy.

Kitty took a step away from Leo and then she looked at them smiling, He body shifted to her natural state and then she became surrounded by water before disappearing.

Leo watched and was worried at first but then relaxed. 'She would not do something that is dangerous for herself. "Well that seems like it was the main function of this building but let's see if there is anything else here before we leave and move on to the next place.

Ketan sighed, "that was unexpected. I think that there will be nothing to worry about. Kitty's element is water and all supernaturals connected to it are hers or at least they will be. If anyone can save the girl it will be Kitty. I doubt that girl is as young as she looks." He walks to the left of the room and started checking the shelves.
