Chapter 409 - 409 Final Resting Place

"Okay!" Jenna covered Charlette and Kitty. She sat down next to Kitty. "I am sorry for any trouble that I caused you. I am still learning and it is not an easy thing to learn."

"It is okay. You sat here with Charlette while the others checked to see what was going on. I think that you did well." Kitty beamed at the girl and watched her swing her legs. "Jenna, how old are you?"

"Huh? Oh, I am sixteen. My parents are still alive but they are getting old and wanted me to learn the ways of being a hunter before they retired. Not the traditional way but they let me be free up until two years ago. I started learning and Brielle became my mentor. She was really nice to me." Jenna looked at Kitty and smiled. 

Kitty took Charlette out and burped her. "Good girl." She had fixed her shirt and stood up. She set Charlette into the car seat then kissed Charlette on the forehead. "Sunshine, sleep and we will go home in a moment. 

Leo came into the office and saw Kitty was putting Charlette in the seat. He went to the computer and started to compile the message and it would go out at six in the morning tomorrow. "Brielle, Will, and Daniel from tomorrow at six until Friday at six in the morning, that is how long the hunters will have to check-in. The message will be sent out at six so if one of you could stay here overnight I would appreciate it." 

"I'll stay. It is not like there is anyone waiting at home for me. I am not in a relationship and I am all programmed into the system already. You still need to program Daniel and it would be best if they do not find out about this yet. Daniel, it is not that I do not trust you or anything but if we are hiding the fact the Rex is no longer with us it would be best that they do not know." Brielle looks at the group. 

"No offense taken at all. I agree with you that it would be good to stay in the shadows but I have nothing to do as well so I will go home and act confused when the timing comes." Daniel bows and looks at Leo.

"Mmmk, I will go along with this Brielle you know all the passwords so you are free to use my office as you want you to know that the bedroom here was used by myself and Asurlon. If that is too much you can pull out the bed on the couch." Leo clicks on the keyboard and finishes what he needs to do. 

Brielle looks over at the bedroom and nods her head. "Okay, I understand. If you need anything just let me know and I will respond back. I will be honoured to come over on Friday so I will be there. Ketan would I be able to trouble you?" 

"You can trouble me all you want. I will come and pick you up from here. I will stay here with you overnight if you do not mind?" Ketan glances at her and then eyes up Daniel. 'I do not know what it is about this guy but I feel like I should not trust him. I will voice my doubts to Kitty later.'

Leo got up and wrapped his arm around Kitty, "let's go home." He places his forehead at the base of her neck and just rests there for a moment.

"Okay." Kitty was holding Charlette and touched Leo's chest. She took them back to their bedroom. "Relax here, I will go find Luke and let him watch Charlette for a little while." She went to the door and walked to Luke's bedroom. 

Luke opens the bedroom and sees Kitty, "Mother, are you okay?" 

"I am fine but Leo needs to calm down before we deal with the production team. I will leave Charlette in your care." Kitty held out the car seat.

Luke's face lights up in delight, "I will not ask what happened but you must make sure that Leo is better for later. Everything has been set up there. Also, I can tell that you cried." He took the car seat with one hand and with the other he lifts it up and touches her cheek.

"Yes, I cried a lot. It is not easy dealing with the loss of a loved one. I lost one whereas Leo lost five. I will attend to him and when he is calm enough we will walk to the barbecue. If everyone else is ready you can take Charlette. Leo and I will walk over when we are ready." Kitty watches Luke closely to see how he will react. 

"Alright, Mother. I will take Charlette out. You take care of Leo for me." Luke put down his hand and lifted the car seat up. "Hello, again Charlette. Big Brother is here now. Let's go for a walk while Mother and Father talk." He walked with her down the stairs.

Kitty watched this and then went back to the bedroom. She covered his eyes and teleported them to be on top of the bed in the cave. She pushed him back on the bed and kissed his lips, not letting him look around. "Before I let you see. I will not let you find this place easily." 

Leo looked up at Kitty with his eyes still covered. "It is alright. I will only look for this place if I can not find you but I will always be by your side. Nothing will keep me from you and you know that already." He pulled her hand down and opened his eyes. He looked at the room and saw the cave walls. 

"Yes, we are in a cave. This is really close to an element and this is where Rex passed away. Just outside the entrance. I wanted you to see his final resting place. The most painful part of this was the fact that I am not able to do anything but take away his essence and allow him to pass in my arms." Kitty moved her hands away and looked down and Leo.
