"The problem is... what I'm going to do now? My plan to bring my friends back to Earth won't happen. So that means... I don't have to worry about anything else aside from myself now."
Leon would be lying if doing whatever he wanted wasn't the best thing for him. If he had tried to return to America without Makoto's help, perhaps he could have avoided several problems. William wouldn't have died, and Leon would stay on Earth because the lizard bastard wouldn't have noticed him.
Regardless, Leon soon recalled the first thing he decided to do in order to satisfy his own desires... kill the bastard who implemented the system and the one who summoned the dragons. Although Leon learned on Miebos that such an event was bound to happen in most planets after they start to run out of natural resources, he doubted that nature itself would cause such a thing. Someone or something made such a thing to happen to perhaps thousands of planets... for one reason he couldn't imagine why yet.
"If the same bastard is the culprit of both problems, even better. However, I have to kill the lizard and the shadowy figure first."
To beat them, Leon would have to get stronger, much stronger, and he already knew two ways to get stronger fast. The first was to look for spirits, and the other was to use time dilation.
"The person who has the most access to information on Earth is Yuki. If the people here have discovered their existence, she probably would have met them... So, I guess there isn't a fragment of a spirit here or in any of the planets that are connected through dungeons."
Leon himself wasn't able to feel the spirits' presence unless he is really close to them. So, the only thing he could do was to find them automatically while he trains on worlds that are on the third stage of assimilation. Even if Leon doesn't find them, he will save time training there.
"Let's see... where I will find a dungeon that will lead to a world that is on the third stage of assimilation, and the monsters there have a lot of mana..."
Leon quickly found a dungeon that fits his criteria, even though he decided not to go there, the dungeon was located in Japan. As if that wasn't strange enough, the place was the same dungeon where he fought against ancient frost dire wolves... the creatures were the Ice Skeletons.
In the end, Leon decided to invade the dungeon without telling anyone. Using Transfer would make things easier. Besides, he didn't want to meet the people he knew... Leon needed to maintain his focus and not let his feelings get in the way. Cultivate blue angel leaves in a world that has such weather was impossible, but Leon would compensate that using Mana Absorption.
To avoid problems, Leon 'invaded' Japan during the night in order not to let anyone see him flying on the skies. Although several soldiers were watching the surrounds of the dungeon, and the place was well illuminated. However, Leon entered the dungeon without being noticed, all thanks to Transfer.

"Mmm... they have Cryomancy and are big..."
It didn't take long before Leon could find the first ice skeleton, they were just like that, skeletons made of ice that were three meters tall. Although they were supposed to be creatures that used magic as a primary weapon, they didn't have equipment in them. Their red eyes were quite scary since it had a vicious glow, and their entire body had a light-blue tone.
Congratulations! The skill Ice Resistance has leveled up.
You obtained 01 status points.
"Achoo!" Leon sneezed. "Let's see how well you can endure my... Achoo! My Thunder Ray."
Sapporo was as cold as ever, and the things were much worse inside the dungeon. Since a cold wind was coming from the heart of the place, it wasn't a good idea to use Flamethrower. So, Leon decided to use Thunder Ray. Although the creatures had no flesh and even muscles, its body trembled while it was slowly melting. Ice was just water, and thunder was capable of burning everything given time. So, it was very efficient. Ten seconds later, the ice skeleton was dead... Although Leon couldn't say if it were alive before.
"Ah... I have to drain its mana. Next time I should attack its limbs instead of its whole body... the electric current will spread across its body, but it won't melt entirely... probably."
