Chapter 221 - 221)Artemis Is?

Name:Unlucky?Player Author:Myth_7754
Zeus was more than wary of the Primordials. In the first place, Zeus had always been on the edge with his brothers- Hades and Poseidon. However, after he began siphoning energy from Chaos, he was now stronger than those two, to the point where Zeus would be left with at least 30% health after beating either one.

However, that wasn't the case with the Primordials. These beings were literally what made-up reality. It wasn't that they were the 'God of' or 'Goddess of' anything, they were literally the 'anything'

Such powerful creatures would treat Zeus as a child, and each and every one of them could comfortably beat him. It could honestly even be considered bullying. However, things were different now. None of the Primordials retained their original power, after all, they've all woken up from a slumber of many eons.

Olympus at the moment was unofficially split into two factions. It wasn't publicly accepted nor was it known by the Olympians itself, but deep inside, every single one of them accepted this. The Olympians who supported Zeus and the ones who didn't. It was as simple as this.

Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Poseidon, and finally, Hera. All of these Olympians were the ones that supported him. Leaving Hephaestus, Athena, Demeter, Apollo, Dionysus, and Hermes in the faction that didn't side with him.

Due to the nature of these mental factions, Zeus still heavily relied on Athena. It wasn't something that was openly acknowledged, in a way, it could be considered as a choice that would be made in a crucial situation. When it really would matter, Olympus would split into these two factions.

Hades, the brother of Zeus and Poseidon, and the ruler of the Underworld wasn't considered an Olympian, at least not one of the 12. Although, it's obvious which faction he would choose if he had to.

He was often seen as a bad character. Perhaps it had much to do with his power and the domain he controlled. The immediate thought that strikes one is death. Hades is nearly often tied to death, suffering, torture. While that may be true, he's also the ruler of the elysian fields. The very same beautiful meadow that held many of history's great heroes. It wasn't as if he himself was a murderous killer.

"That….kid...Mother Night..." Hades whispered under his breath as he felt the tremble that shook the entire world of Genesis. It was obvious who it was, or at least who it could be. Since Hades was one of the beings aware of the Primordials awakening.

Other than Hades, there existed another being who is said to be older than Zeus and his brothers. As a child of Cronos and Rhea, Hestia was considered an Olympian, but she currently doesn't occupy one of the twelve thrones. As the Goddess of the hearth, Hestia was a warm and gentle person. Her stance on the factions was neutral, at least for now.

"Watch what you speak," Zeus growled. His pride was immeasurable, and to him, there was absolutely no one superior or even similar to him. Excluding the Primordials of course.

He was the pinnacle of strength, the ruler of the supreme heavens. The king of Olympus. The one who ruled over the skies. He was the strongest existence feared and respected by millions. However, he was a poisoned chalice. No doubt his contributions in the previous wars against the titans and the giants were priceless and immeasurable. After such efforts, anyone is likely to expect him to be a great ruler, however, it was the exact opposite.

He was obsessed with power, and grew blind. The existence of beings stronger than him scared him. Even if they were sealed in the Chaos. Just the very fact that there was a possibility of him being overthrown, scared him. Not to mention the fact that his wife, Hera, took advantage of this and only made his obsession stronger.

'Could it be Hades…..?' as the lord of the underworld, it wouldn't be too shocking. However, if Hades was the cause behind such an event then the entire region around him would've turned to dust. It was as simple as that. However, for some reason, Zeus was rather set on it being Hades.

"Hades….." Zeus growled in a low tone as he thought of their conversation the last time. An attitude that he didn't like, in fact, Zeus hated it. The only reason he didn't strike his brother then and there, was because whatever Hades said had some truth in it. Even if Zeus was the strongest, at that moment, he was in the Underworld. It would be reckless to fight anyone in their home ground.

"You think so?" Artemis asked, her fingers fidgeted around with each other, she was rather nervous at the moment, her father wasn't in the best of moods and she wasn't exactly safe.

"Maybe….there's a chance…." Zeus thought as he stroked his beard. Even though he didn't exactly confirm it with Artemis, he was already dead set on it being Hades. Even if it wasn't, he could use it as an excuse to cut him down. "Forget about this conversation….I will take care of him when the time comes…."

"Alright, father…" Artemis bowed down respectfully.

The enigmatic and mysterious magic towers were the apparent cause of a lot of the destruction that occurred around Genesis. The magic towers were definitely an existence that should be faced towards the end game.

Now, rumors have it that every single one of these towers consists of rogue or runaway magicians and other different types of warriors. It didn't exactly make sense, but based on the destruction they managed to cause, it can be concluded that every one of these rogue mages is capable of devastating things.

Damianos, Noel's childhood best friend, who was said to have been killed, was one such case. There was no doubt that his appearance commenced the first monster wave of Linto. Thousands of warriors and heroes had to sacrifice their lives, only so that the rest of the citizens could live. These were no ordinary warriors, it is said that many Epics and Legends lost their lives in this fight. Although, it is also true that these Legends hadn't fully ripened.

A single mage capable of summoning a nearly endless swarm of monsters, this was the true identity of Damianos. However, he wasn't a Legend by any means. His soul had long since surpassed that realm.

"You're back master….." An elf dressed in brown robes bowed her head respectfully. There were different and weird red symbols drawn all over her clothes. Multiple different rings glittered her hand, not to mention she even wore a tiny pendant. It was obvious that she was a mage and all of these were items that enhanced her capabilities.

The building was in a place the rest of the players had yet to discover. Although, by some stroke of luck, Nate managed to find a map to the mountain that this building was built over.

Mount Tempest. Just its name made it sound scary, and there was some truth in that logic. It was the perfect spot for a magic tower. The mountain had a Guardian, and thousands of different monsters crawling around, it would make any player think twice before entering it.

"Master….he's here….." The elf said in a nervous tone. It was clear that the person she was referring to was an object of fear. For a second there, the master figure was confused, but once the realization had struck him, a shiver went down his spine.

'Fck! Bastard…..what is he doing here…..'

"Alright...I'll see to…it…"

It was a huge and unique structure that seemed like it had more than enough space for anything an individual wished to do. As of this moment, the person that was being referred to was currently waiting in the tower master's room.

"Ah there you," a voice called out as the tower master had finally entered his room. Thanks to teleportation arrays placed all over the place, people wouldn't have to physically climb up or down the stairs for every single thing, although that was still an option.

"...Yama….." The master grit his teeth, he tried to hide his hatred but clearly, it was going too well.

"What brings you here….?"

"Can't I visit an old friend?" Yama replied in a sarcastic tone. One was for sure, it was that this Yama character was very clearly the stronger one here.

"An old friend? Calling us enemies would be an understatement,"

"Don't be like that! I'm here to chat, one tower master to another,"

Yes, it was true, Yama's intentions were still unknown, but it was true that he was only there to talk. After all, he didn't even release a single drop of his presence or strength. He was someone who remained hidden from the world, an entire superpower that lives without being noticed.

"What do you want! Get to the point,"

Yama looked at the tower master for a second. It seems as if he wouldn't be able to get a nice greeting no matter what he did, or how he spoke. He cocked his head and a cold pressure descended upon everyone in the room, "If that's how you want it Damianos….oh or should I say…

.....Artemis?"
