Chapter 140 - 140)Without A Bonnie

"And that's the last one, haah, that's it? they weren't that meaty in my opinion, it took us what? less than 2 minutes to wipe ten players out? I'd say that's pretty good," Night said as cleaned the blood of his Glacial Balance with the help of his darkness.

"I don't really understand how your skill works..." Nate commented as he looked at dark clouds cleaning up Night's weapon. "Anyway, what'd you expect really? they didn't really have a plan in mind and even if they did, it was nothing compared to ours ahaha. Besides, you sadistically hurt their legs rendering them unable to move quickly. It was a smart move but cruel,"

"I only did that because we planned to finish them off with your skills. Oh and I really have no idea how this works as well, it just follows whatever I wish for.." Night said as he willed his darkness to form a question mark.

"Anyway, the crowd was definitely surprised to see just us go up against them. Hahaha," Nate laughed before he burst into white particles.

.

.

"Yup, as expected. I mean, it went a lot faster than I predicted but it was entertaining to see the determination on their faces disappear. They were brutal, they actually managed to slay an entire group of ten players. You think they have more members in their clan or do you think they might be accepting players??"

"Honestly, even if they are accepting players, do you think they'll accept anyone? Personally, I feel like they'll accept only those above level 90 or maybe even those who ascended, they really have no reason to let in just anyone, perhaps they have some kind of a requirement??"

"I agree, however, there is one thing that has to be mentioned. The clan they faced off against, something Loli fandom or something, they aren't anything compared to Relentless or even The Uprising. Those two clans are something else, I mean we've already witnessed Ken, the leader of Relentless clash against Night, it was one of the most picturesque scenes ever. However, this time it won't just be Night and Ken, it is going to be a bunch of players who are a little weaker than Ken versus two players, I'm not if these two can win..."

"That's a reasonable argument, The Uprising is also an equally threatening foe, however, that brings us back to the point, can two players actually beat ten other players? personally, I think Nate vs Ken is an interesting matchup. I guess we can only wait and see if those two surprises us again..."

Once again, the crowd didn't seem to jump to any conclusions, their arguments were reasonable and just, however, what they didn't know was that Night and Nate had quite a lot left to show. Things that they might not be ready to witness.

"Uh, That was an interesting match! wonderful performance by The Primordials. It is now time for Relentless and The Uprising to come onto the stage. Now, folks, these two guilds are arguably the strongest guilds to exist, however, today is the day. The day we find out the truth!" Dr. Reed announced.

The crowd watched as Ken got up and walked to the stage, nine other individuals carefully walked behind him. His white cape that had a huge golden sword fluttered about as he walked down. It reminded a few anime watchers of a certain basketball player who used his eyes to break ankles.

Meanwhile, the leader of The Uprising, Clyde or better known for his in-game name, ClydeWithoutABonnie, was at the end of the ten individuals that stepped down, it was weird, these two guilds were both said to be the best, while the majority sided with Relentless, the fact that the remaining sided with The Uprising makes them formidable. They were rival clans in a way, naturally, it was cold between them, however, today's event gave them the perfect opportunity to finally sort it out.

"Ken," Clyde said as he moved through his clan members and stood face to face with the leader of Relentless.

"Clyde, you're still not over this? You should've taken part in the PvP, I missed not beating you up.."

"Hah, do not misunderstand me, the only reason I didn't take part in anything was for my abilities to remain hidden, that is all. You shall witness how much I've grown," Clyde replied as he turned back and walked towards his capsule. The members of his clan followed his lead without questioning and got into a capsule of their own.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It seems that they're prepared, however, we aren't required to enter already so let's just go through the plan once again, okay?" Ken spoke with a stern and domineering voice, however, there wasn't a hint of fear amongst his peers. Looking at their determined faces and the absolute control he had over them, Ken couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.
"Alright then, we have three warriors here, including me of course, and two of these warriors are tanks. We have two mages and archers, one druid and one saint, and finally one assassin. The plan is simple, the healers should focus on supporting the long-ranged, the tanks are in charge of protecting everyone except me and the assassin, I'm sure the archers and the mages will be able to deal enough damage to finish them off,"
"Nina, you're the assassin, right? you're with me, our main goal is to try and keep them occupied, maybe even kill off a few. That is all for the plan. Any questions??"
"No sir!!!" they said in unison.
"Alright then," Ken said as he took in a deep breath.
"Give up on your dreams and rush to your deaths, Who are we???!"
"RELENTLESS!!"
Luke could see very well as to why the majority sided with Relentless. Ken's leadership was truly inspiring. He knew the strengths and weaknesses of his members like the back of his hand, and he was aware of this virtue of his, which just added to his overall leadership quality. As much as Nate was surprised and in awe of Ken's leadership, he couldn't help but feel intimidated. He was the creator and the clan leader of The Primordials, it was a lot of responsibility and work. However, that was no excuse, Nate knew for a fact that these obstacles and trials would make him grow stronger, it would help him catch up to Night.
Ken didn't bother to waste any time, as soon as he knew his entire team logged in, he dashed forward, he knew for a fact that Nina would be next to him in a second. The Uprising members were a little surprised but they were prepared for such a situation to occur.
"I told you, Ken, you underestimate me!" Clyde screamed.
The second the members of The Uprising heard their leader, they immediately split apart, there was enough distance to nullify the area-attack spells launched by the members of Relentless. The Uprising was at a disadvantage in many fields, especially in terms of individual player levels, however, the fact that the members of The Uprising made sure to not take part in any activity gave them an edge.
"Me? Underestimate you? There's no chance I'd do that, you're a formidable enemy Clyde, it's just that you aren't as farsighted as me," Ken said as he took the stance required to use The Calm Before the Storm.
"Everybody!! Here it comes!! Get to position!!" Clyde ordered.
Unfortunately, it seems that Clyde indeed wasn't as farsighted as Ken, he couldn't foresee that, that was exactly what Ken wanted. The members of The Uprising moved in all directions, they were too far apart to even support each other, meanwhile, Clyde approached Ken, he was confident he could take him on. After all, there's a reason he's the leader of one of the top clans.
"Now Nina!!" Ken screamed as he changed his stance to the one required to use Guardian of The Seas. "This is what I meant Clyde, I knew you would approach me. You see I never really underestimated you, I've always known you had the potential to beat me, I simply used that to my advantage,"
At this point it was too late for Clyde, he was sure he could avoid and take advantage of Ken using The Calm Before the Storm, that wasn't a single target skill after all and he had just the move to avoid such an attack. However, the sudden change to another skill was lethal, he had already prepared to appear right behind Ken but that wouldn't help in this situation.
"Marked short-range teleportation right? I figured you'd appear behind me," Ken said as he turned behind him, the water guardian that enveloped him followed his exact movements, "It has a cool down no? a minute is it?"
"What??! Ho-"
*BOOOOM*
That was it for Clyde. Perhaps in an actual 1vs1 he might've had a chance to beat Ken, but in a situation where he had other things to worry about, it was futile.
