The housekeeper was passing by when she saw a figure in the servant's uniform, laughing with her focus on the cartoon on the screen. She frowned as she asked in a strong tone, "What are you doing by slacking off in your job?!."
The maid hurriedly stood up to her feet when she heard the housekeeper's voice. Even little Taio was startled by the loud tone.
If only he was still a baby, he would have started wailing by now.
"I'm looking after the young master." The maid replied quickly with her head bowed.
"If you are truly looking after the young master, you should do that appropriately. Have you forgotten you are a servant, so what gave you the courage to sit there and what cartoons and even laughing in the process. You are looking after the young master, not having your leisure time. Did you think of the consequences of your actions if the Master and Mistress came home and saw your actions?." The housekeeper scolded in a harsh tone.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again." The maid said in a soft tone as she bowed, while little Taio watched her actions in wonder.
"Housekeeper, you are not right by scolding a servant in front of the little child, what do you want him to learn from this?." The Nanny asked as she approached them with a look of disappointment.
It was not that the housekeeper came to her senses. She just realized that her actions could get her punished, so she apologized to the Nanny.
"It's alright. I asked the maid to look after younger Master while I went into the kitchen to make his lunch, I hope you don't mind?." The Nanny asked the housekeeper in a soft tone with her gaze on her.
"It's alright. Taking care of the young master is our greatest priority." The housekeeper replied.
"I know it's not my place to say this, but the way the maid reacted while watching the cartoon with the young master is not entirely wrong, just that it is not appropriate. The young master needs to grow up in a healthy environment, and it starts now, so he wouldn't keep to himself in the future. This is a good way for him to learn to interact with people." The Nanny said to the housekeeper.
"I understand, but her actions were not appropriate. She is a servant that has work assigned to do." The housekeeper insisted.
"Not a problem." The Nanny said as she walked past her to Taio's side.
At some point, the little guy continued with his cartoon, since the tone of their voices was low.
The housekeeper gave the maid a sign, and they both left the living area.
"I hope you don't mind, but it's time for your lunch." The Nanny said to him with a smile before lifting him from the baby car seat he was strapped him.
Even while in her arms, Taio strained his neck to look at the Tv. The Nanny saw his interest was still on the cartoon, but she knew he had to eat, so she picked up the remote and turned off the Tv.
And when the Tv went blank before his eyes, Taio saw the remote in his Nanny's hands, and his eyes followed her hand till it kept the remote on the table, before his eyes moved to her face.
The Nanny noticed his eyes on her, so she smiled as she asked him in a gentle tone, "Are you angry? Please don't be."
The Nanny was scared he would make a fuss, so she was literally walking on pins and needles as she talked to bim
Taio just looked away from her without making any sounds.
The Nanny took that as a yes from him, so she carried him to the dining area to feed him.
Taio ate his food obediently, without making a fuss, and he ate to his satisfaction.
While Chen Lihua, Liu Longwei, the Chen family, and the Liu family were rejoicing after the interview the couple did, someone somewhere was not happy.
A woman whose thoughts were sinister because she harbored evil thoughts against Chen Lihua, was very angry at the moment.
"What nonsense! It wasn't enough they already have a child, but now, another one is on the way?!." The woman screamed as she pushed down the flower vase in the darkroom, and the fresh lilies in the vase fell to the dark blue rug.
Seeing those fresh lilies, got her angrier, as it reminded her of Chen Lihua. So, she stomped on them and killed them all.
"You bitch! Do you dare get married to my man and have children with him? I will ruin you, I will kill you!." The woman screamed as she continued stomping on the lilies vigorously.
Her face was distorted as she made those remarks.
The guy with the scar knew that things wouldn't end peacefully that day. He also knew that His boss's wife was very angry, and this wasn't the right moment to talk to her, but he knew he had to because very soon, she might end up stomping on the broken vase, and end up getting seriously injured, which might cost them their lives.
"Mistress, be careful with the shards of glasses on the floor." He said as he pointed at one that the woman was about to step on.
His voice seemed to remind the woman of something, because she paused in her actions, and slowly looked up at him.
'Oh No!.' The scared-faced man silently cried out in his head when he saw the woman's distorted facial expressions.
The woman currently looked like a patient that just escaped from the mental asylum.
Before he could open his mouth and say something he knew wouldn't be meaningful to her at this point, he received the hardest and most painful slap he had ever received, on his face.
"It was all your fault. How dare you talk to me?!." The woman screamed at him as she pointed her trembling fingers at him.
Just now, the slap she gave to him was very painful, so she felt the impact as well. And besides, she slapped a hooligan, someone whose hands weren't clean, so obviously, his skin was tough.
