Chen Lihua wore her earrings and picked up her sun shades, then holding her son's hand, they stepped out of the walk-in closet.
The family of three took the elevator and went downstairs, where Taio's Nanny handed his bag over to them.
The bag contained his water, snacks, and some other necessities he might need.
The family of three left for the toy store with an entourage of four bodyguards.
Earlier that morning, Chen Lihua made a reservation at the store, so they wouldn't have to meet other people while they shopped.
Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei held Taio's hand as they entered the Children's mall. The family of three was taken to the toy section, so Taio could make his pick.
Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei also checked the toys out to see anyone that might be suitable for their son.
Taio was still young, but he really knew what he wanted. Chen Lihua allowed him to walk around as he was tailed by one of the bodyguards. She instructed them to touch whatever he wanted, and not to pick it up by themselves.
When Chen Lihua was done checking things out, on her side, she saw a pack of building blocks, so she picked it up.
"It would be fun to play this with Taio." Chen Lihua said as she raised the pack to Liu Longwei's view.
Liu Longwei glanced at it and replied with a smile. "Yeah, it would be fun to build a castle ???? with him."
"Yeah, so I'm picking this." Chen Lihua said as she passed it to him before taking out her phone from her bag. She made some notes of what kind of educative toys and games to get for her son, so she was checking her list out now.
Chen Lihua searched for the toys and games she found and passed them to the shop attendants that were standing a distance away from them.
Liu Longwei picked a storybook that looked more like a toy, before following Chen Lihua to meet their son.
"Taio, what did you pick?." Chen Lihua asked as she came to his side.
"Mum, I want this..." Taio said as he pointed his little finger at a football.
"it's going to be fun playing soccer with your dad and me." Chen Lihua said with a smile as she touched his hair.
"Get one of it for him." Chen Lihua instructed the bodyguard and he picked one for him.
This small family toured the toy/game section and picked whatever seemed interesting and educative for Taio.
"Let's pick some books for him." Chen Lihua said as she glanced at Liu Longwei.
"It will be good for his development. Let's get some storybooks as well." Liu Longwei suggested, and so they went to the next section to pick some books for him.
Taio was already looking tired when he got to the second section, so a chair was brought for them to sit.
Chen Lihua opened his bag and took out his water. She opened the bottle and passed it to him.
"Thank you!." Taio said as he took his bottle from her and drank from it.
"I think there should be some gummy bears in your bag." Chen Lihua said as she searched his bag for the gummy bears.
Liu Longwei took the bottle from Taio and wiped his mouth when he was through.
At last, Chen Lihua found the gummy bears and passed him two pieces from the container.
"Here, to replenish your lost glucose."
"Thank you!." Taio said again as he took the gummy bears from her. He looked excited as he put one of it into his mouth.
"Taio, careful, you should eat it bit by bit." Liu Longwei said to him with creased brows.
Taio was already fascinated with gummy bears, so how could he hear what his father was saying to him?
Chen Lihua wiped the saliva from his lips and asked him to slow them.
"Does he eat this every day?." Liu Longwei asked with a frown.
"Kind of. He eats at least 5 pieces of this any day he is to eat it." Chen Lihua replied.
When Taio finished the gummy bears in his hands, he stretched his hand towards Chen Lihua, asking for more.
Chen Lihua smiled and passed another one to him.
"Taio, this is the last one."
Taio nodded and tried putting the stuff inside his mouth, but his father's gaze reminded him of his words, so he calmly ate the gummy bears bit by bit till nothing was left.
After resting for a while, They resumed their shopping. When it came to their son, Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei would do anything to make sure he got the best things.
On their way back home, Liu Longwei asked, "Do you think he should start Taekwondo classes? He should have reached the age."
"He is not too young or too old for it, but he is not up to three yet. When he turns three, I will be willing to invite a coach for him." Chen Lihua replied.
"You agreed?." Liu Longwei asked with a look of surprise on his face.
"Yeah. I want my baby to be strong and fit. That reminds me I have to resume my classes as well." Chen Lihua said to him.
"No. After you give birth. Have you forgotten you are pregnant?." Liu Longwei asked as he pinched her cheeks.
"Did I?." Chen Lihua asked with a smile.
Taio was sitting in his car seat, in-between his parents and playing with a stuffed toy. He wasn't even paying attention to what they were saying.
When they got home, The housekeeper had the servants send everything that was bought to Liu Wei's toy room. It was more like his indoor playroom.
"Mum, I want to play," Taio said from his father's arms.
"It's late tomorrow your mum and I will play with you." Liu Longwei said to him as he brushed his hair backward with his hands.
