Chapter 119 - Dorm Gossip

Miss Bo knocked on the door of the room.

San Zhe shuffled his feet behind her. His eyes looked about awkwardly, not sure what he should do or not to.

He was worried about cheng Xiu's condition but if she was still in the state of drunk then it would not be good.

Miss Bo would use this as a way to discredit Cheng Xiu instead of trying to give her a chance to explain herself.

Just before San Zhe could think about the consequences of that the door was pulled open.

Cheng Xiu stood at the doorway and looked at Miss Bo and San Zhe with a dazed face.

Miss Bo cleared her throat.

Cheng Xiu's Phoenix eyes turned towards her.

The two women stared at each other for a moment.

The silence was deafening.

San Zhe cleared his throat.

Miss Bo's judging eyes looked towards him for a moment and then turned towards the tall girl by the door.

"Are you not going to invite us in?" Miss Bo asked.

Cheng Xiu crinkled her eyebrows in confusion. "Why should I?"

Miss Bo scoffed. "Did you not call San Zhe for help?"

Cheng Xiu blinked at the woman and then turned to San Zhe.

The round boy blushed at the enquiring Phoenix eyes. He could see it in the way that the girl leaned against the doorframe that she was still not back to normal but it seemed that she was otherwise okay.

He found the panic in his heart slowly dissipated.

Cheng Xiu nodded and then looked at Miss Bo again. "But I called San Zhe."

Her voice was a bit slurred.

Miss Bo's eyes narrowed. She sniffed the air around Cheng Xiu.

Cheng Xiu stepped back, her eyes judging the intelligence of the woman in front of her.

"What are you doing?" Cheng Xiu asked.

Miss Bo frowned. "You do not smell like a drunk and yet…you are showing signs of it."

Cheng Xiu raised her eyebrow. "Oh? What else do I smell like? A'Shu says I always smell like sandalwood."

Miss Bo glared. "Maybe it is the soap you use."

"That is what I keep telling her," Cheng Xiu said with a nod. "Anyway, why are you here?"

Miss Bo frowned. "You needed a woman's help, didn't you? Is there a reason I can't be that help?"

Cheng Xiu gave her a considering look.

The two women stared for some time.

San Zhe sighed. "Sister Xiu, perhaps we can take this inside."

Cheng Xiu frowned. "Why?"

"Sister Xiu," San Zhe said to her with a pleading voice.

Cheng Xiu sighed.

"What was your name again?" she asked Miss Bo.

"You!" Miss Bo said with a glare, thinking the Qiless girl was mocking her.

Cheng Xiu tilted her head to the side. "You seem upset. Why? I just asked for your name."

Miss Bo gritted her teeth.

San Zhe felt a headache come on. He had not thought this through. He should have found a better excuse with Miss Bo or tried to contact that girl called Chu Ying. She seemed to have been close to Cheng Xiu as well.

If only he was allowed into the dorm. If he was, then this conversation would not be happening.

Two girls climbed the stairs and stopped at seeing a boy at the far end.

"Who is that?" the girl in twin ponytails asked.

The girl with the bob cut hair frowned. "I think he is that second third year San something from the Mathematics Department."

"What is he doing in our dorm?"

The girl with the bob-cut hair shrugged. Her eyes widened as she realised what she was seeing. "Isn't that the teacher Miss Bo from Mathematics?"

Miss Bo's shoulders stiffened at those words. She changed her demeanour to someone who was only concerned for her students.

The girl with the twin ponytails frowned. "yeah…and they are standing in front of Gu Shu's room right?"

"The first year?"

"Yeah. And they are talking to Gu Shu's smart roommate. I think her name is Xi or something."

Cheng Xiu looked towards the two girls as well.

"Do you think she heard me?" the girl in the twin ponytails asked with worry.

The girl with the bob-cut giggled. "Do you think that girl and that boy were…"

Cheng Xiu leaned against the doorframe completely and stared at the two girls.

San Zhe frowned at her appearance that screamed "Let me hear more" and turned to see what she was looking at.

The twin ponytailed girl smirked, unaware of the three pairs of eyes trained on her figure. "Or they are talking about that Seminar thing that I hear is happening. I heard that Miss Bo is the one in charge of everything, and Cheng Xiu is the Student Representative for the first years."

The other girl rolled her eyes. "That San Zhe was kicked out."

San Zhe frowned as the two girls laughed. He wished he could hear what they were saying as it looked like they were talking about the three of them.

He then understood what they must be thinking. As the only man in the group, the entire scene seemed a bit more suspicious than it should be.

"Hey!" Cheng Xiu called out to the two girls and then held her head between her hands in pain.

The two girls frowned and looked towards her.

Cheng Xiu tilted her head so that it was also resting against the doorframe. Her eyes held a mean glint to them. "Do you think we can't hear you? Or are you mocking us?"

The two girls froze.

"Wasn't Miss Gu's roommate a Qiless?" the ponytailed girl asked her friend.

"She is supposed to be," the other girl said in confusion.

Cheng Xiu snorted. "You better leave before Miss Bo decides to report you for character slander."

The two girls shivered in fear.

In St Andre, the rules for bullying was very strict, and those that involved character slandering were even more so. There was even a chance to lose their place in the college because of it.

"Sorry!" the twin-tailed girl said.

Her friend echoed her words, and the two ran away immediately.

San Zhe looked at Cheng Xiu with a frown. "Sister Xiu?"

Cheng Xiu frowned and looked at him.

San Zhe gulped. "You heard what those girls said?"

Cheng Xiu raised an eyebrow. "You didn't?"

San Zhe shook his head. "How can I? I am not a Blessed."

Miss Bo frowned at his words and looked at the girl before them in confusion.

Cheng Xiu snorted. "And I am?"

San Zhe shook his head.

Cheng Xiu laughed. "Say…San Zhe, you and me, we should stick together! It is so rare to find those who are Qiless on this campus. I tried to meet a few on campus, but they treat me like I am the plague. Something about me being a genius, and so am not the same. Like…how is that fair, Brother San?"

San Zhe pursed his lips, unsure of what to do.

He looked towards Miss Bo to find her observing Cheng Xiu with a weird look in her eyes.

Cheng Xiu clapped, bringing his attention back to her.

"I know what we can do!" Cheng Xiu said in excitement. "Let's build a clubhouse just for Qiless!"

"Planning terrorist groups now are you?" Miss Bo asked in a mocking voice.

Cheng Xiu frowned. "Who are you?"

Miss Bo gritted her teeth. "Bo Ling. A teacher of the Mathematics department, and the cor-ordinator of the new Seminar. I am-"

"So why are you here?" Cheng Xiu asked in confusion. "Are you conducting a 'Mathematics' seminar here? And who says 'Mathematics'? why not just say Math like normal people, you weirdo."

"Sister Xiu!" San Zhe called in exasperation.

"I am here because San Zhe here said that you needed help. And I think he might have been right. I need to know what kind of Drug roofied yourself with, please move aside."

Cheng Xiu blinked at her for a moment and then widened her eyes. "Aha! So that was why you were here! Good! Wait here for a moment!"

Cheng Xiu went back into the room and closed the door in Miss Bo's face when the woman tried to get in.

The woman stared at the door in a daze for a moment.

She shook the dazed look off her face and started to hit the door.

Cheng Xiu opened it and stuffed a card into Miss Bo's hand.

"What is this?" the woman asked in a strained voice.

Cheng Xiu smiled. "You wanted to help me right. That is the card to my Game Pod. I need you to get me three B-Grade Nutrient Solutions. I am apparently out of it according to this."

She pointed towards the Fold Watch on her wrist.

Miss Bo frowned. "That…was it?"

Cheng Xiu tilted her head. "Or else?"

Miss Bo was about to shout at her when the woman saw Cheng Xiu walk into the room again.

The teacher was about to call the girl back when she saw the tall girl collapse onto the floor.

"Sister Xiu!" San Zhe cried as he tried to step into the room.

He got electrocuted, and had to step back.

"Miss Bo, help!" San Zhe called.

Miss Bo looked at the girl and then at San Zhe.. She ran into the room.
