103 It's Not My Faul

"I want you to cancel them."

Jake France hands stopped typing upon hearing her request.

"Why so sudden?"

"Oh I wouldn't have asked if they didn't want to make more trouble for themselves."

"Hmmmm, I have indeed heard that she was marrying a Price, would that be the reason?"

She still haven't told them about Glenn Price, everyone just knew that she was going against the entire Price Empire.

"I just want to irritate them that's all."

'Well they started it, they wanted to invite Ashton to make him feel even more miserable. So how about I make them miserable for a bit as well?'

"You can say no if you really can't. It was fine by me."

He will be going against the Price after all if he were to suddenly decline.

"Oh please, I have been declining so many orders from the royals since I became famous. So declining for me is normal."

Jake France vowed right in front of Sarah Price's grave that he will support her daughter no matter how difficult it is or how dangerous it might be.

"Well, can you create a unique gown for me as well? For their wedding?"

Jake France raised an eyebrow upon hearing this, "You want me to cancel the dresses of the bride herself but would make one for you who was invited?"

"Yup, that is indeed right."

"You're quite evil, aren't you?" Jake France smiled as he replied.

"Thank you."

He could only shake his head, surely this girl is up to complete evilness once she moves.

"Very well, I really wanna see what you will do. I shall be sending it to you the day before the date itself. I'll make it very very special just for you."

"I'll send you my measurements then, thanks aunt Jacqueline."

Amber fell asleep with a smile on her face.

"It was cancelled?!?"

The day after the call, Madison was feeling agitated upon hearing that a week before the wedding her gowns were cancelled.

She had ordered three gowns for the reception after the wedding ceremony and she was really looking forward to it.

She had loved the uniqueness of Jake France's designs, who would have thought that just a week and the order was cancelled.

"Have you tried contacting them? We need to know the reason why," Madison asked agitatedly.

"What happened?" Glenn who just came home asked upon seeing her look.

"My dresses they were all cancelled, a week before our wedding," Madison was tearing up as she complained.

Glenn furrowed his brows, he have heard that Jake France wouldn't accept orders from royals as well. But he never heard of him cancelling an already accepted order.

He fished out his phone and made a call.

"Go and speak with the designer Jake France, if he wanted more money then offer him more. But try to ask why he suddenly went back to his word."

Despite being royals, once someone is famous and well loved by many, they still couldn't just touch them.

And among these people was Jake France who was well known all over the world.

"Don't worry baby, we will get your dresses," he then pulled Madison into a hug.

"It has been my dream to wear his designs during my wedding, the wedding dress was not accepted so I could only settle with the after ceremony dresses."

"Shhh, it's okay, it's okay we'll get it."

Amber was giggling as she listened to Jake's words of the other side trying to pay him higher in order for the dresses to push through.

"Don't start giggling at me now. I would be even more richer if I accept that," Jake berated her in a joking manner.

"Oh please Capa is already gaining a bunch, their payment would just be change for you. Adding to that was your clothing line, Clover."

"And what should I tell them? They were persistent after all."

Amber smiled, "Then just tell them the truth, that a much more important person was attending a wedding and you need to make a very beautiful dress for her."

"Much more important? You really are narcissistic."

"Then leave everything to me," she didn't bother with his words and kept going.

"Very well up to you. I am not there anyway, you can do whatever you want."

"Thanks a lot aunt."

"By the way..."

He trailed off but she didn't hear more words from him.

"What is it aunt Jacqueline?"

"No, it's nothing. Maybe it was just my imagination. Anyway both Alissa's and Haley's career are going off quite fine. Haley's design are being well loved all over the countries under Hughes Empire."

He tried changing the topic.

"Seriously what was it? Despite you feeling like it was just your imagination. You wouldn't imagine it if you really didn't notice anything," Amber seriously asked.

"I'll tell you some other time. I'll keep observing for now, just enjoy yourself over there and do what you have to do."

Seeing as he really wouldn't tell her, Amber defeatedly agreed before bidding him goodbye.

"Something wrong?"

Seeing her serious look, Ashton who was sitting with her in the living room asked.

"I don't know, but since he didn't want to tell me. He must have something else planned already. I'll just wait until he tells me or when I go there."

Their days would go by just like this for now, just resting inside the house. Plus with this, Amber does not have to keep wearing her mask and the scar.

She decided to go to the SNN office here after the wedding.

Ashton remained "grounded", well he too just wanted to have a rest for now.

For their next attack, he decided to do it after the wedding.

"And what did you do this time?" he asked after that.

"Why do you always think that I am doing evil?"

Ashton just looked at her without replying as if saying that whenever she smiled in such a way, she had done something evil.

"It's not evil, I just took her chance on wearing Jake France's design for her other dresses."

"Say, Madison was also a victim. Why are you taking advantage of her instead?"

"Hoho, are you worried?" she asked jokingly.

But didn't wait for his reply before continuing, "It's not that I wanted to bully her instead, knowing full well that she was also a victim."

"But that, currently she can only be my victim. Plus even if she was a victim, she still agreed of wanting to bully you together with Glenn Price. And if she feels sad during the wedding, both of them wouldn't be happy."

They both fell silent.

"Oh, that's right," she clapped her hands upon remembering something.

Ashton watched her run to her room and run back down in the living room.

"Here you go," she smiled and hand him an envelope.

He opened it and pulled out the contents, everything were details regarding the small gang groups not just around Celestial country but all over the world.

"You..."

"Since I told you that I will be supporting you, I started gathering information about them."

Ashton didn't spoke.

"What's wrong? Could it be that you didn't want me to do such things?"

Ashton remained looking at the information in his hand.

It was quite complete, the details of the groups usual time of going out. The places they go to and the things that they have done.

"This isn't difficult for you?" he returned the documents inside and looked up at her with seriousness in his face.

"Were you worried that I was staying quite late? Don't worry, I gathered everything as a past time. That is why I only finished it now," Amber reassured him.

"By the way, do you think you have someone else you know on the wedding?"

"Business people," Ashton shrugged.

"Then you would be a loner there," she teased.

"You would be coming with me, why would I be a loner?"

"Wedding?"

They heard another voice from the door, both of them didn't notice that someone have entered.

It was actually Gideon Wright, Amber was too shocked as she subconsciously touched her face.

Then upon realizing that there was no way out of it she glared at Ashton.

"It's not my fault," knowing what was going on in her mind, that she was accusing him of not noticing his grandfather, said instantly.

She didn't budge and kept glaring at him.

Other than the word wedding, Gideon was even more shock at Amber's face.

Only Ashton knew of her real face, she didn't tell anyone about it, even Jake France and the others.

All of them only knew that she had been scarred.

"Clarissa Price."

Ashton and Amber who was having a stare off, looked back at him.

"Grandfather, why don't we have a sit first before talking about this?" Amber smiled timidly.

"Go and wait in the car," Gideon abruptly said to his assistant who was about to enter the house as well.

The assistant nodded but was confused, for the master told him to park the car and follow him at first.

Gideon closed the door and went close to them.
