151 Carpe Diem!!

(Flashback)

"Come on I'll send you home," Josh jumped in front of Alissa just as they finished for the day.

"No, it is fine. I can travel just fine. I love walking around before going home," Alissa politely declined.

"There they go again, flirting in the office," just then another employee commented.

"Oh come on, that's what lovers normally do," Josh joked with them.

"Shall we go?" Anna, someone from the IT section who became close with Alissa, suggested to her.

Anna could see that Josh's persistence was already going overboard that Alissa is starting to feel bothered by it.

She saw how professional Alissa was and how much she's working hard to became acquainted with work as soon as possible.

This is also something the others respect about her, for after they found out that she was actually among the top runway models. They all thought she was just all act.

But not once did she neglect her job for another schedule. Instead she was diligent and was always early to work.

She didn't try to act like a delicate model but instead she was ready to carry on her job no matter how dirty she becomes.

That's how she was able to gain most of their respect but together with this was the envy of others.

Like those who just bad mouth her and Josh.

Alissa nodded at Anna.

"Hey, it's not that bad to walk with me," Josh stopped her by arm and said.

"Miss Coleman, I have something to discuss with you," when Alissa was about to speak with Josh, they heard Timothy calling for her from the door of their office.

"I'll be right there sir," she replied instantly.

"Go on with me, thank you," she said to Anna.

"You should go home already as well, this seems to be a lengthy one," she then said to Josh.

Timothy didn't wait for her and left for his office which was two floors above them.

"Waaahhh, Alissa is truly lucky. She can always speak with the president," one said to Anna.

"I think, they knew each other though. Remember the president was away for about three years. He must have met her by then," Anna commented as she and her office mate started walking out of the building.

"You should really give up on her Josh, if it was possible I think she would rather choose the president instead of the employee," one man said to Josh.

"Shut up," he retorted.

Timothy was the president, his body built was that of a model, even his face.

Compared to Josh who was only about two inches taller than Alissa, Timothy was a head taller than her.

"What is it, sir?" Alissa asked as she entered the office.

"I'll give you a ride home," he said as he fixed his staffs.

"Eh?" Alissa was stunned.

"Josh was persistent, if Amber were to find out that I left you to him, she would surely not let it go so easily," he answered with a sigh.

"Yeah, well I received quite an earful on your first day," Timothy replied.

Alissa could only laugh at this, Amber did give him that.

"Well since she promised to have our company as a priority when something comes up, I suppose it is not that bad for me to look after you," he shrugged as he opened the door and waited for Alissa to come out as well.

"She had always been like this," Alissa couldn't help but say.

Timothy glanced at her before pressing the parking lot button on the elevator.

"She felt indebted to us, too much indebted that she started restricting herself with something that she must do because she didn't want to hurt us."

"Indebted?" he asked just as they entered the parking lot.

"Well, she came to our city all tired and dirty, the first hotel she entered kicked her out thinking she was a beggar. It was my aunt who accepted her."

"But even we were on the verge of collapse back then, when Amber first checked in she used up everything she had to stay in our hotel for a month."

She looked at him before she entered his car.

"She actually saved us back then. But she was feeling indebted instead because we were the ones who showed warmth to her when she lost everything. She said we were among those who saved her."

"Hmm," was all he could reply as he listened.

"But because of that she didn't know how to approach us when we make mistakes, even if it was big enough to cause the company so much trouble."

"I actually wish for her to stop thinking about debts and such. She can be quite ruthless but she is also too kind, somehow she and Ashton is quite the same, aren't they?" she couldn't help but say.

She heard of everything that happened to Ashton from Blake and the others.

"I just want to tell her, if we make mistakes, then reprimand us. Let's stop thinking of who saved who back then. We have to live in the present, you can't always let go of our faults."

"Don't shackle yourself with those things for a lot more will happen in the future. Are you going to keep forgiving us? Then surely we will start thinking that it was okay to make mistakes around you."

"If it wasn't for you then Hayley and I would have given up on our dreams, if you weren't acquainted with Jake France then Hayley wouldn't have improved this much."

"If you didn't focus on the hotel when we all left, then it wouldn't have prospered this much. So you have all the right to right us when we are wrong."

(End Of Flashback)

Amber who just spoke moments ago to Alissa fell silent upon hearing Timothy's story.

"You are not only their friend but you also are their president. Are you really going to let them do as they please? Your company will be at stake but also..."

He drank a few gulps on his fifth bottle.

"If they are your friends then straighten them the moment you saw them leading the wrong way. If you don't then you won't be able to call yourself their friend. You left them to keep walking in the wrong road."

After he said this, he fell on top of the kitchen counter, drank.

Amber didn't know whether to be touched or to laugh or cry.

"Wow we can't have our session can we? I am your younger sister and you were the first one to actually drop? Isn't that unfair?" she complained as she stood up.

"But, thank you, you are right. I can't be too lenient."

After saying this she went and get Alissa to help her carry him to his bedroom before they fixed the bottles.

"What did you tell him? If it's about my current predicament I am going to hit you," Alissa said just as they entered her place.

"Don't worry, it's about me. I just need some advice from another president that's all," she assured her.

"You didn't ask Ashton?" Alissa couldn't help but ask.

"That guy is pretty busy right now, so I just told him I'll drink and speak with Timothy instead. Which he willingly agreed, it's obvious he wanted me to bond more with my brother," she shook her head as she said this.

Alissa laughed, "Well compared to a while ago, you look much better now. How should I put it… at peace?"

"Do I really look troubled a while ago?" Amber asked.

"Very troubled, I was already on the verge of flying to Celestial country to get Ashton here," Alissa teased.

Amber shook her head as she laughed, "Well, I guess I just got the advise I needed from both of you?"

"Why me? All we talked about was about my day, what advice did I give you?" Alissa looked at her in confusion.

'It is your thought and how much you want me to stop thinking about unnecessary things, that was the advice you gave me,' Amber said in her mind but just smiled at Alissa before entering her own room.

But before she closed her door, "I will no longer hold back so when you yourself are at fault I will surely reprimand you as your president."

Then she beamed, "Carpe Diem!!"

Alissa was stunned at first because of her sudden beam.

Then she started thinking of why Amber's words sound familiar before she remembered that she and Timothy had that one time where they talk about this.

Where she actually complained to him because of Amber's kindness that is already not good for herself.

Alissa smiled before she too shook her head and entered her own room.

'Maybe it is indeed right for me to keep talking to him about Amber, in this way, if Amber is once again stuck, he would be able to help her out.'

Without Ashton here, she knew that Amber couldn't really speak her mind.

But with what happened today, she knew that Timothy would really be able to help her.
