157 By The Accuracy Of My Intuition

"You guys are no fun at all," Amber glared at the two of them as they have their lunch in one of the restaurant inside the park.

"The staffs are already begging us through their eyes, to get the two of you out there," Timothy rolled his eyes at her.

"We are complimenting them, why do they want us to leave?" Alissa asked this time.

He just looked at them before looking at Ashton.

"You are the oldest here, they are the youngest, don't make me explain to them," was his answer from his look.

Timothy shook his head and decided to just shut up and eat his food.

Amber and Alissa of course understood why they wanted them out.

As the worker there, what fun will you have if the people you are trying to scare would even circle around you giving their comments, instead of being scared.

They were just trying to tease Timothy who was very serious, even Ashton joined them in teasing him. He didn't bother helping him at all.

"You guys aren't done yet, right?" Amber asked them.

She and Alissa ordered some light food while the two of them ordered proper lunch.

"What is it?" Ashton asked.

"We're going for some ride, carry on with what you guys are doing," Amber said before she and Alissa left them.

It just so happens that the roller coaster was closest to this place.

"They wanted to ride it? Why didn't they want us to join them?" Timothy asked upon seeing that they went to the line for the roller coaster.

Ashton could only stare at him, 'I guess most men have this kind of characteristic, trying to act tough despite being scared?'

"What are you looking at?" Timothy asked upon seeing his look.

Ashton shook his head, "Nothing. Maybe they just wanted to ride it by themselves. Plus they ordered light meals, while we ordered heavy ones. We might end up throwing up if we ride it now."

Timothy looked at his food and silently became grateful that he ordered a heavy meal.

As they rest after eating, Ashton nudged at him who was focused on his phone.

"What?"

Ashton gestured to where Amber and Alissa are.

Some men are trying to hit on them and the two of them are ignoring these people.

Alissa no longer needed to be mentioned. Amber, on the other hand, despite wearing a mask has the presence that could still catch other people's attention.

Timothy sighed before they stood up buying some coned ice cream before going where the two is.

"Come on, there's only the two of you. Why not have fun with us?" one man said.

"How many times have you heard that word in your work?" Amber didn't look at them and instead asked Alissa.

"I don't know, Josh had been saying it to me every time he sees me in the office," Alissa replied as she thought back.

"Stop ignoring us and instead join us," another said as he reached out.

"Hey who the hell are you?!?" those men complained.

Upon looking up they were welcomed with the piercing look of both Ashton and Timothy.

They didn't speak and just glared before looking back at the two ladies.

"We just bought some ice cream and you already attracted such attention," Timothy spoke as each of them handed the ice cream.

"Thanks," the other two replied.

They would have been able to handle it but that would be messier, so this solution is much better.

People started looking at the two men before looking at the two ladies, they all have the same thought.

'Such compatible couples.'

The group of men could only leave the line after being embarrassed in such a way. Like dogs running with their tail in between their legs.

The four of them have forgotten about the group and were chatting just fine until it was their turn to ride the roller coaster.

Timothy finally realized the mistake he had done.

He was about to ride the roller coaster.

As he looked up he didn't know whether to make an excuse or to just suck it in.

Amber looked at him and she didn't know whether to laugh at his dreaded look or just feel pity for him.

She looked up at it as well, "I may seem relax but I do feel scared, I have so many fears and thought maybe with riding this extreme ride, I would be able to become stronger to face all of them."

She looked at him, "Do you think that makes sense?"

Timothy furrowed his brows, "It does at the same time it doesn't. But why are you saying this to me?"

Amber smiled, "Maybe because I can see myself to you when I am about to face something I'm scared of?"

"Wha-"

Amber raised her hand, "Don't deny it, it's pretty obvious."

She said this in a whisper as if really keeping it as a secret for him.

Timothy felt exasperated before looking at Ashton, but the other guy was not even looking at them.

"Anyway, since I will be sitting beside Ashton, you will be sitting beside Alissa, you can hold her hand if you become scared," she then said before looking at Alissa.

"Right Alissa?"

"Hmmm? Oh uh yeah," Alissa who can hear their conversation could only agree.

'This Amber, is she trying to match make or something?'

"Whatever you are thinking, that will still be up to fate or maybe to you. Currently someone really just needs your help," Amber whispered as if reading what was on her mind.

"Yeah right," Alissa replied as she rolled her eyes.

Amber shrugged as the four of them got to their seats.

Timothy started breathing deeply, trying to calm himself.

Alissa looked at him before she brought out a handkerchief.

"Why don't we put a blindfold on you?" she suggested.

"Why would we do that?" he asked.

"Well, overcoming ones fear doesn't have to be instant. You can do it slowly, you can ride it now but you don't have to see everything around you," Alissa suggested as she fold the handkerchief.

"You don't have to do that," he stopped her from folding it.

"Well you look like you really want me to put it on you, so here you go," Alissa still put it on him before she sat properly and the ride started.

Timothy who was planning in pulling it away from his face, stiffened upon feeling the ride started moving.

Alissa who saw this, placed a hand on top of his that was holding on the seat guard.

"It's fine, this is just a normal ride," she then said.

All through out the ride, Timothy was tensed but he was not as scared as he thought he would be.

Maybe it is because of the blindfold? He didn't know just that he was only tensed and nervous.

Right as the ride slowed down, Alissa removed his blindfold in order for people not to see him in such get up.

"What do you think?" she asked with a smile.

"That's the last time I'm riding this damn thing," he said in gritted teeth as they got down.

Alissa could only laugh at this, she really didn't expect that he have such fear.

Timothy glared at her but he chose not to comment and just walked ahead. He needs to drink something for his heart was still beating so fast.

He can't see it but he can still feel the wind and that was still enough to give him fear, though it is not as much as when he can also see the scene.

Amber sadly smiled as she watch them.

"What is it?" sensing the change, Ashton asked her.

"He was only twelve while Xander was ten when they almost died due to a car accident."

She looked at him with guilt in her eyes but she was not teary eyed.

"They tried to escape, two years after we left. That's when I was first shock by the accuracy of my intuition," she grinned but the happiness didn't reach her eyes.

Of course he knew of this story for the two of them told the whole group about it.

Ashton placed a hand on top of her head, "Why must you carry all the burden of everything that happened to them? Just how many times must we say that you were not at fault?"

Amber just grinned once again before she followed Alissa who was following Timothy.

"I know where we will go next," she then said to her.

"Where?"

"The beach," Amber said with a smile.

But Timothy who was a bit far was able to hear it and once again stiffened.

"The… beach? Why do you want to go there? It was already afternoon," he commented.

"Why not? There's no time and date for us to follow when we want to go to the beach," Amber rolled her eyes at him as she pulled Alissa by the arm.

Ashton could only sigh internally, 'You really do love watching over people, don't you?'
