258 It Feels Like I've Seen Her Face Before

Being betrayed by him was painful enough but the fact that she had betrayed another precious person for that scumbag was even more painful to her. She felt like her heart that was broken, is being crushed over and over again.

Seeing that the little light in her eyes have disappeared upon the mention of Amber, Blake once again sighed, he was tasked to watch over her but it seems he made her even more broken that she already was.

"I think you should stay here for the time being. I presume you have no place to say right now," he decided to change the topic and suggested.

Hayley looked up at him in shock as if asking why was he offering her help.

"You plan last night and the new idea of your designs, I want to see just how far you can go with them," he answered.

At least he was not lying, he really wanted to see how far she will go right now.

Maybe if she didn't do what she did last night and just barged in there like some lunatic, he would have let her sleep in some hotel instead of staying here in his place. Then he can just watch over her just like that.

But the way she resolved it and the way she stood on the stage, he couldn't help but be curious, how far will she go?

Hayley who was suddenly given a helping hand out of the blue, didn't know how to respond.

With her fault, why is it that a helping hand was still being given to her?

Seeing her look, he can tell that this was obviously a real big blow on her as a person. He still remembers that she was somehow like him. A jolly person that was in complete contrast to her cousin.

Yet here she was a broken doll who was shock to even receive a helping hand.

"I can support this you know, your new plan. I can be your sponsor as you are once again starting to work on your new designs. A partner perhaps?" he said.

"I… don't know what to say," she finally blurted out.

"For now, you need to get your head back to the game, if you keep being like this then your plans of showing that bastard that he is nothing would be futile. If you really want to get back at them then you must climb higher than the past you."

"Throw everything away, you have already fallen then forget your name as Hayley Price and instead focus on being the designer of Guilt. Then surely you would be able to face them head on and say to yourself that they are nothing but ants."

Hayley looked at him and shock was visible in her eyes. She didn't expect to hear such words from him. But maybe that's what she needed right now, she needed someone to tell her what she must do.

For all her confidence to herself have disappeared completely that she felt like her decisions would be wrong.

"Once again, thank you," she muttered.

"This is an investment," was all he said.

He can see that she still had those dead eyes but deep within there was that little resolve of getting back at those people.

She actually already got back at them during the event, the real getting back she was planning was for Amber whom she betrayed and disappointed.

He left her alone and it was three hours later when he heard some crashing sound coming from her room.

He rushed and checked on her, upon opening the door he saw a real terrified look in her face.

"What happened?" he asked after seeing the messed up look of the place.

Hayley looked at him before she slowly squatted down and picked a pen, when she raised it, his eyes grew wide.

Her hand was trembling so much as if it was scared of the fact that it was holding a pen.

Hayley dropped the pen and grabbed her hair, she squatted down, "Why? Why? What's wrong with me?!?!"

Tears dropped down her eyes, as she couldn't help but to grab at her hair even more.

Blake seeing as she was about to lose it went to her and grabbed her hand, taking her outside of that place.

He can see how disturbed her mind was and he can see that if this continues she would surely lose her mind.

"Hayley," he called but to no avail.

"Hayley!!" he once again said grabbing her shoulder and shaking her.

She looked up at him but her eyes weren't focused at all.

The little resolve he saw there a while ago have completely disappeared.

He knew this must not continue. He knew that he must stop this.

Without second thoughts he raised both hands.

*SLAP*

A loud slapping sound resounded between them.

"Ouch," Hayley couldn't help but say as her eyes started focusing on him.

Blake clapped both his hands on her cheeks and surely a red mark would be left on them, he felt bad but she was not focus and he needs a stimulant to wake her up.

She stared at him in shock.

"Forget it for now," he said.

"Huh?"

"We can have an announcement that Guilt will return after taking care of all the things that happened, since it was still a small brand line no one would try and dig deep about the real reason."

Hayley blinked a few times.

"For now, don't think about anything related to designing. Try other things, reading, learning some instruments and all. Get your head out of fashion designing until I told you to return to it. Do you understand?" he asked and his voice was so serious Hayley could only nod her head.

Blake didn't expect that the impact of what happened was this severe, he didn't even know how he can resolve this.

He was tasked to watch over her but with what is going on, he didn't know what to do other than to make her stay away from all of it for the time being.

(End Of Flashback)

Alissa and Amber looked at one another.

"Don't look like that, this is the outcome of her choice. If you come up and suddenly tell her that you are here for her no matter what, she surely wouldn't grow. I'll watch over her just as I promised, so don't try thinking of going to her."

Seeing those look, Blake understood the complicated feelings they are having.

But just like Ashton, he too wanted Hayley to understand the gravity of what she had done, this might be too harsh for her.

Fashion designing was her dream yet it ended up being taken away from her.

Amber took a deep breath, "then I shall believe in you and her. Once she returns I know it would be a real bomb."

That's right, this is the path Hayley had chosen, they can help her but that doesn't mean they should help her all the time. She needs to learn to stand up on her own as well.

After that talk another topic emerged.

"Aren't you guys lucky? Being part of their entourage. We see that you finally decided to actually go against your own Empire," Brian commented.

"Come to think of it, we haven't really knew who your partners are," Harvey added.

"But I guess it is quite obvious that they are your special ones?" Mathew added.

He looked at Alissa and Timothy, whom he had seen in Kuiper country.

"But it feels like I've seen her face before," Brian said as he looked at Alissa.

Harvey looked at her as well. Blake, Devon and Aldger is no longer needed to be mentioned for they knew who Alissa was from Star Country.

They were actually curious about Samantha who was with Xander for no one of them ever knew that Xander had a girlfriend.

"If you have heard of the model Alice from Kuiper Country then that is who she was," Timothy answered for her.

Alissa looked at him and smiled, his hands wrapped around her waist. He knew she was nervous of meeting them. She can feel him supporting her telling her that it was okay.

"Alice..." Harvey thought for a bit before he and Brian, even Leslie, realized who she was.

Among the top runway models of Kuiper country.

She was not completely famous internationally but they have seen a few magazines with her picture in it.

"The one from Capa and retired abruptly after that scandal," Brian commented.

The four of them looked at one another, Amber, Ashton, Timothy and Alissa. Then Xander looked at them.

They wouldn't be able to explain things properly if they were not to tell them the truth about everything.

"Shall we move place then?" Amber suggested.

The others became curious but followed them otherwise.
