322 He'd Rather Have Tha

Ashton had just finished making his calls as well.

"Are you really sure about this?" one of Michaels' subordinates asked.

"If what that kid said is true, then my sister died by their hands. I will never forgive them for that," Michael's face darkened.

He had been searching for her in small countries, thinking that she will never be in Celestial if she wants to hide. Who would have thought that she used reverse psychology in order to hide herself. She was not even hiding for from time to time she would appear on big events.

"What if it was not true?" they kept asking.

"Have you seen the kid who brought back that necklace?" Michael asked in return.

"What of him?"

"He has some resemblance with my father somehow. Something else tugged in me as well while looking at him. And hearing that, that Amber Wood was kidnapped and might end up dying, my intuition had been telling me to stop it."

"These all may be substantial evidences but I kept feeling that if I don't save her then I would regret this moment for the rest of my life," was how he explained.

Intuition had always been a part of his blood, how he rose from the bottom to where he is now. That is why, he wanted to trust it this time. If she was indeed his blood related niece then he will do everything to save her.

If she was not then all he would lose was his face in the underworld. He'd rather have that than the other one.

He glanced at Ashton, "That kid, he was never the lying one. He rarely lies that is why he was always the kindest to them. With the way he looks a while ago, I am very sure that he was sure of what he had told me."

"Let's go," just then Ashton looked at them and said.

Michael nodded at his companions and followed after Ashton. This would truly be an all out war.

"I trust you."

As they travel to the mountain, Ashton received a call from Timothy.

"..."

He didn't reply, what else could he reply in that? He knows? He will do his best? This is his wife they were talking about. At any cost he would surely save her even if others don't say a thing.

Even if her brothers didn't say anything. Even if no one urged him to save her, he would willingly do so.

"And I trust that you too would come out of it unscathed," Timothy continued hearing no answer from Ashton.

"I don't want to be too negative but she may no longer be unscathed," as Ashton said, his face hardened at the thought that she was wounded while they prepared and was on their way.

Timothy, who looked up to the departure time, also had a dark look upon hearing this. He just calmed down when he felt a hand enveloped his.

Alissa who has swollen eyes, obvious from crying, smiled at him.

"We're here."

It is not being too negative but they also didn't want to be too positive. So for now they could only pray at the same time trust her that she would be fine until they were able to save her.

"Let's go," Alissa said as their departure time came.

Timothy nodded and the two of them went on to board the plane.

After what happened to Timothy and Xander, Amber studied their trackers and was able to upgrade it in order for them to know where the other is inside a building.

That is why her current location was known to Ashton and the others, but they need some distraction in order to get in without much of a difficulty.

Ashton nodded to one side and a large explosion came, the ones inside started coming out as a few of them started going in.

It was not an easy path, for this was the hide out and most of their enemies were much more acquainted to this place than they are. Still with Michael and his group, they were able to kill a lot of them.

It wouldn't be this smooth if they have no other support, Ashton made calls and those calls were important.

That is why even though he really wanted to just go and rush to where Amber is, he decided to prepare even more.

As their battles go on within the building that was five story tall, Amber was having a staring contest with the three men who was pointing a gun at her.

Carla, who was scared of the sudden intrusion, came to that room, thinking that it was safer since the boss was there. But was scared witless by what she saw.

The man who escorted her out just a while ago was now dead beside the bed and Amber was holding a gun. She almost screamed if not for the atmosphere inside the room.

On the other hand, Amber was still holding the gun she took from the man she had just killed.

"What if we just kill her now?" Mark then said looking at Oliver.

"Are you crazy or what? We are indeed inside our territory but in order to be sure for our survival, we need this woman to be alive and have her in our hands in case they reach this room," Oliver answered with a click of his tongue.

They were indeed one of the top but that doesn't mean they are very strong that no one can defeat them.

'If that person were to come then there would be a blood bath in here. But with the agreement, he will surely not appear. With only those little ants, this would be easy. But it is better to be ready than sorry.'

Amber knew what they were planning so she was also looking around, checking her surrounding and how she should move if Ash and the others were to appear.

Soon a simple plan was built in her mind and with that she had all her focus on the people in front of her.

She knew they would move and try to get the gun in her hand, the moment one of them took a little step she raised the gun and placed it on her head.

"What do you think? You can take another step and I can shoot my head. That way this would really become a place for a blood bath. You have to understand how much Ash would wreck havoc once he sees me lifeless."

Oliver squinted his eyes, "Do you think that little ant wouldn't die by our hands instead?"

"I wonder about that, if he really is just a little ant," she answered and her confidence made Oliver, for the first time in a long time, to feel nervous.

As if, he really needs to be wary of the person who came and the person who was sitting in front of him.

She was covered in blood, she wouldn't be able to run because of the gun shot in her thigh yet she was sitting there.

Her eyes filled with confidence and strength, even Mark and the other person couldn't help but to take a step back.

Her confidence made them feel inferior.

Amber smiled and it was the sweetest of them, but this smile made them shiver. Even Carla who was standing far from them.

She can tell that Amber has no fear right now, that the outcome whether its death or survival was nothing to her.

"Shall we bet then?"

Her trust for Ashton was giving her strength right now, that no matter what, he would surely save her.

Oliver Cleaves who was known for being cold and ruthless, someone who do everything for money, was suddenly rendered speechless.

He remembered someone who acted this way in front of him.

Back when he was just starting but people were already fearing him.

He was not part of the top gang yet but he was already a deadly person.

A mission was given and that was to kidnap a certain lady. That lady was also in the same situation as this person, she may not be as blood covered as this person but she was looking at him filled with confidence.

And back then, that lady was right. The man came and saved her. Oliver was just lucky he was able to escape because of the way that lady acted.

'What is this?' he couldn't help but think as that person started overlapping with the one in front of him.

'Why do I feel a sense of deja vu?'
