Chapter 135 A Lesson in Respect

Linda couldn't help gaping at Charles in disbelief.

"Oh my god! How could you say that?" Linda couldn't believe Charles just threatened to close down a school for her.

Charles arched his eyebrow as he looked at Linda, "It's fine. Trust me, I'll take care of it."

Charles drove Linda to the school for the interview. Linda was surprised to see a lot of people gathering at the school gate. "Why are there so many people? What happened?" She asked.

Charles shrugged. "I don't know."

"Pull the car over. I'll walk from here. Your car is too eye-catching." Linda said.

The car Charles drove that day was a limited-edition blue Lamborghini. It was so luxurious that practically every passerby couldn't help staring at it. Linda didn't want to attract troublesome gossip.

"No. I'll teach them to respect you."

Charles insisted on driving Linda to the school gate despite Linda's protests. Seeing Charles' car, a middle-aged man in a black suit rushed to them. Charles rolled down the window.

"Young Master Mu. I apologize for Director Li's ill-advised recklessness. Please..."

"Open the gate." Charles interrupted abruptly.

The principal stared blankly back. "Open the gate." Charles repeated coolly, completely ignoring the middle-aged principal of the school. "What?" The principal was confused.

"I'm not going to repeat myself."

Charles replied, rolling the car window up. With dawning realization, the principal scrambled to instruct the gatekeeper to let them in.

Charles started his Lamborghini and the car's engine revved noisily as he drove into the parking lot of the school.

At the school gate

he paper and scanned it. It showed that the accident happened at forty past one o'clock that afternoon. There was an official stamp from the Bureau of Traffic Control. The accident was real!

What a fucking coincidence! Lilian was mortified. "I am so sorry, Lady Mu..."

"Does Director Li still think I'm an unpunctual liar not qualified to be a teacher?"

"That was me talking nonsense. Please forget it, My Lady..." Lilian was in a panic.

At Lilian's words, Linda nodded in satisfaction.

"We don't have much time. Please arrange the interview as soon as possible." Charles said coldly, wrapping his arm around Linda's shoulders.

When it came to starting the interview, Lilian became somehow hesitant.

Noticing the delay, the principal chastised Lilian at once. "What are you waiting for? Go start with the interview! Don't keep Young Master Mu and Lady Mu waiting!"

Gulping nervously, Lilian replied, "Mr. Principal... I'm afraid we have already filled the position for the Chemistry teacher role. Our school only needs one additional Chemistry teacher at the moment…"
