Chapter 678 I Won't Mind Disabling You

Linda would feel very guilty if anything happened to Bun's baby while Bun was protecting her.

So Linda suggested, "Bun, I think you'd better not come with me to the Nalan Clan's house."

Bun instantly shook her head and said, "No way, My Lady! I won't have a moment of peace if I don't stay by your side to ensure your safety."

"But you're pregnant now. You should know that the first three months of pregnancy are very crucial. Any accident could easily cause a miscarriage. What if we come across danger and have to fight some bad guys? I won't be able to take it if you lose your child because of me!"

Linda said, trying to persuade Bun. She couldn't allow Bun to go through such misfortune because of her.

"No, I have to come with you. My Lady, please don't worry about me. I will be more cautious all the time now," Bun insisted, unwilling to be separated from Linda.

Seeing Linda and Bun unable to reach an agreement, Anna cut in and said, "My Lady, since Bun insists on coming with us, just let her do that. Don't worry. I'll take care of Bun's health. Besides, we have the men from the Mu Security Team protecting us. I think we should be safe.

And Bun, if anything happens, don't fight anyone personally."

Paul, who was in the driver's seat, was silently driving the car while carefully listening to their conversation. His heart raced when he heard that Bun was pregnant.

After all, Bun was the woman whom he'd been deeply in love with before. He had loved her for such a long time that, even though he had already given up his love for her, he felt a complex emotion set in his heart.

But it wasn't sadness that he was feeling.

In fact, he actually felt happy and moved by the news.

He had already realized that he loved Cindy.

So now, he wished Bun all the happiness in the world

and hoped that she would give birth to her baby safely.

But thinking of Cindy made Paul feel guilty again.

In the beginning, Cindy had relentlessly confessed her love to him, but Paul had never taken her seriously. He hadn't believed that Cindy could have a crush on him all of a sudden, and had thought that her love for him wouldn't last long. It was only when Cindy had put herself in danger to save his life that he'd realized how deep her feelings were.

Eventually, Paul had realized that a person didn't need many reasons to fall in love.

When it came to matters of love, you had to listen to your heart. It was all about emotion.

Bun had already slipped away from him because of how bad he was at expressing his feelings.

This time, he didn't want to lose Cindy.

The fact was that Paul had been texting Cindy every day for the past few months, but Cindy hadn't replied even once.

Still, Paul continued to text her because he knew that she would be read

clothes to stop her from going forward.

Nelson frowned and was about to say something to stop Rosy's rude behavior, but before he could speak, Bun grabbed hold of Rosy's hand.

"What are you doing?" Rosy yelled as she turned to Bun. This was the Nalan Clan's house. Rosy couldn't believe that Bun dared to be rude to her here.

"What am I doing?" Bun sneered. With a cold expression on her face, she tightened her grip on Rosy's hand.

A sharp pain shot through Rosy's arm. She felt like her fingers were going to be broken by Bun.

"Let go of me! Don't you know that you are in the Nalan Clan's house? How dare you be so rude to me?!" Rosy yelled, her face contorting in pain.

"Who allowed you to lay a finger on Lady Linda? Let me give you a piece of advice. Don't ever come near Lady Linda again, or I won't mind disabling you!"

Then, with a snort, Bun finally loosened her grip on Rosy's hand.

Rosy stood still and blew on her hand to lessen the pain.

Tears sprang to her eyes because of the pain as well as how humiliated she felt.

No one in the Nalan Clan's house dared to be rude to her no matter what she did. Everyone bowed down to her and spoke to her with the utmost courtesy.

But now, Linda Xia's pet dog dared to humiliate her this way!

"My Lady, let's go," Nelson said to Linda as if nothing had happened.

Rosy's anger flared up when she heard Nelson address Linda with so much respect.

Nelson worked for the Nalan Clan and Rosy was the eldest daughter of the Nalan Clan, but he showed more respect to Linda than he'd ever done to her.

"Nelson Li, you shameless man! Don't you know that your duty is to the Nalan Clan? What did Linda promise you that you're willing to be her dog..."

Rosy would have continued yelling angrily if not for Jessie, who patted her on the shoulder to stop her from saying anything more.
