Chapter 986 Victoria Was Finally Saved

Being a doctor, Anna thought it was her duty to check whether Victoria was all right or not, and if not, help her. If it was true that Victoria could feel her stomach ache after falling down, it could be a problem.

Anna tried to help Victoria stand up, but Victoria didn't seem to be able to move at all. Since Anna couldn't carry Victoria by herself, she asked a nurse to come and give her a hand. Together, the two of them helped Victoria stand up.

That was when Anna realized that Victoria was bleeding!

Victoria was four months pregnant and her belly was bulging a little. That was why Anna was very careful about Victoria. But now, Victoria was bleeding.

"How do you feel? Are you all right?" Anna asked Victoria.

However, it was clear that Victoria was in a lot of pain just by the expression on her face.

"I'm not okay. My stomach hurts a lot. I can't bear it!" Victoria replied.

"Prepare for the operation. She's bleeding now!" Anna told the doctor next to her at once.

"But how can she bear to go through the operation now?"

the nurse asked as she looked at Victoria, who looked like she was about to faint.

A few moments later, Victoria passed out from the pain.

"The operation is the only choice now, so we have to go ahead with it. We were planning to tell her the situation before removing the fetus. But now that she fell down and hurt herself, we have to perform this operation now. Whether she survives it or not depends on her luck!"

Carrying out such an operation was very complicated, so Anna had intended to have two days' rest before the operation. It would have also given Victoria enough time to recover. But now, Victoria had unexpectedly had a fall.

They had no choice but to perform the operation to remove the fetus now.

Before the operation, Anna called Linda and told her about what had happened.

"My Lady, when I wanted to give Victoria a physical examination this morning, she went to the bathroom. But she fell down there and started bleeding, so the miscarriage operation has to be performed now. If you have time, please tell Lord James and Lady Violet. I've to go to the operating room now."

On the other end of the phone, Linda was pu

nine hours in total.

The moment the red light outside the operation room was turned off, Victoria was pushed out of the room on a stretcher.

Everyone who came out of the operation room looked exhausted. Seeing Linda and James standing outside the room, one of the nurses stopped and said, "Lady Victoria's life has finally been saved. She should recover soon."

Then, Victoria was sent to the ICU, where she would be watched 24 hours a day.

But Linda didn't see Anna come out of the operating room, so she went inside to have a look.

What she saw in front of her made her frown. Anna was leaning on the cabinet beside the operating table with her eyes closed. She was still wearing the blue suit and hat.

She must have been really tired to fall asleep just like that.

Linda didn't want to wake Anna up, but Anna wouldn't be able to have a proper rest if she continued sleeping in this position.

After performing such a long operation, it would be best for her to sleep at home. Besides, it was late.

At that moment, Becker arrived to pick Anna up. He had called Anna but hadn't gotten an answer, since Anna had kept her cell phone in her office. So, Becker had walked to the operating room. Seeing Becker at the entrance, Linda shushed him, gesturing for him to keep silent. Becker nodded and walked in quietly.

"What's going on?" he whispered, taking light steps. His heart tightened when he saw Anna sleeping in such an uncomfortable position.
