"What did you want to talk about?" asked Song Liya.

"I want to talk about the legalization of same-sex relationships. I feel like it's time to start it, it's now or never," replied Yu Yingyi.

"You do know what comes with that right? That would also mean you would have to reveal your true identity to the public while also trying to attain peace cause there's bound to be a commotion," said Song Feng Mian.

"I know and I'm ready for that. I've gone through multiple parts of the middle and lower parts of the city to build my reputation. Now I have a lot of people who are willing to help me out, there's no doubt that they'll support me." said Yu Yingyi.

"I see, though I already know that."

"Huh? How do you know?"

"Information travels fast when it's the empress who's leaking the information to her guards, that's why they were so set on keeping you in the palace."

"I see, so that's what it was, I was wondering why there was a guard at every corner of the hallway."

"Exactly, also, I don't know if you know this but my sister already knows of your plan." Song Feng Mian said with a nervous chuckle in the end.

"Ha?! What did you say!? How does Song Liya know about it?" Yu Yingyi exclaimed.

"Ah, I might've told her about your plans..." Song Feng Mian muttered, glancing up, Yu Yingyi looked identical to her sister right now.

"Is that so? Who allowed you to speak of my plans?"

"..."

"Exactly, no one allowed you to. Even if you knew it, you shouldn't speak of it. Do you really not know how to keep your mouth shut?" Yu Yingyi asked frustratedly.

Song Feng Mian felt a sharp pain in her chest even though she knew Yu Yingyi didn't mean the words she just said, she was only frustrated. But Song Feng Mian still felt guilty about it, she didn't know Yu Yingyi would react this way, she didn't take account of Yu Yingyi's feelings.

"*Sigh* Whatever, what's said has been said. So? What did your sister say when she heard of my plans?" asked Yu Yingyi.

"My sister said that she was willing to support you and that she'd do anything to help. She didn't want to ask you about it since she was wanted to wait until you were ready to tell her." Song Feng Mian replied.

Yu Yingyi sat on the chair, processing all of the information given to her. The main reason she didn't want to tell Song Liya was that Liya already had enough problems in her hand, she didn't want to burden her even more.

"I can tell exactly what you're thinking right now. You don't want to burden her right?" asked Song Feng Mian, Yu Yingyi nodded in reply.

"I don't think it'll burden her at all, my sister...she's a really strong person. She's willing to do a lot of things if she thought it was important, especially when it comes to you." Song Feng Mian reassured.

Yu Yingyi knew that, of course. But she couldn't shake the thought of Song Liya overworking and not having any time to rest. That was the way how she was before. In her past life, she had to work constantly in order for her to obtain her calm life.

It wasn't a fun experience. Being sleep-deprived every day was a struggle, drinking coffee every morning, and desperately trying to stay awake. Yu Yingyi was surprised she hasn't died from overwork.

But then again, Yu Yingyi made a promise to Song Liya when they officially became a couple, to always ask each other for help if they needed it, they would never go through something alone.

"Alright, I'll discuss it with her after we talk about this. Let's continue what we were talking about," said Yu Yingyi, switching the topic.

"Okay, let's do that then. There are going to be a lot of problems that will occur when you reveal yourself to the public and what you both really are. There's going to be people who'll hate and there'll be people who'll support. I'm sure you know how you're going to deal with that so let's move on to the main problem."

"The main problem will be my mother, the empress. There is no telling how she'll react especially with Jia Xin Yi by her side, things can go both ways. The outcome of the situation really is unpredictable, even I'm not sure how this will go." Song Feng Mian said with a sigh at the end.

"I see, not even you know how this will go." Yu Yingyi muttered.

"However, there's something I can tell you though."

"What is it?"

"Whoever Jia Xin Yi is, she's smart, she could possibly be smarter than me, my sister, and my mom. Considering the timing of everything, Jia Xin Yi might've calculated something was going to happen."

"Are you sure? Are you sure you're not just thinking highly of her because she was a former assassin and now she's an empress?"

"I'm sure she's smart, especially if she plays Xiangqi. People who play that game and can win continuously, their intellect is off the charts."

"How? Isn't it just a simple board game? How could she be considered smart because of a board game?"

"See, you're thinking of regular Xiangqi where there isn't any form of intellect and strategy being used. What I'm talking about is high intellect being used between two players and that's Jia Xin Yi and Song Zihan. My mother is smart, everyone knows that, and the fact that Jia Xin Yi beat her, that meant she's smarter than my mother."

"So what you're basically saying is that..."

"This whole thing is just a game of Xiangqi, but we have to win against Song Zihan and possibly Jia Xin Yi too."

"Do you have any strategies or plans that we could beat them with?"

"Nope." Song Feng Mian instantly replied. "There's no need for a plan, just do whatever you're going to do. Deal with the problem when there's a problem."

"I'm not sure if I made the right choice in asking you."
