While these two were catching up on some sexercise, Red Bane had docked in a small town known as Beike. Ji Yao had used the excuse to restock supplies but in truth, he had someone he desperately wanted to see.
This half nocru was known as the Allseer, the one who sees all and finds all. There was no one on this earth she couldn't find except, of course, Qilin Hao. That was her sore spot. Each year Ji Wen would stop at this small town and ask her to find his wife making him a regular customer.
Who would have thought Ji Yao would also ask her to find Ji Wen. Leaving behind a few instructions he went off-board with a rare quirk at the corner of his lips. This version of Ji Yao had everyone shaken.
How who and what were the crew's reactions all except four people who had been shocked enough the previous night. They had panda eyes because they spent the previous night discussing the cause of Ji Yao's sudden cure. All Xunshi Zhe had to say was, "Enjoy it while it lasts."
Ji Yao was in such a good mood that he even let Xiaoyu follow him when she asked to come along. His usual cold and aloof self was shining bright like a newborn star.
It's just that if one didn't know him well they wouldn't be able to tell but for those who live with him every day he was in the best mood of the year. Everyone was reaping the harvest sowed by Rui Fei.
Ji Yao was high up in cloud nine such that what happened next didn't even knock him out of the sky. He had approached the stall the Allseer's minion sold good fortune charms, talismans and other miscellaneous gimmicks but as soon as that minion saw him, he leapt over the stall and ran for it vanishing into the crowd.
Ji Yao, "..."
"You take east and I will take west," he said to Xiaoyu before taking off to look for him. The guy was especially fast which meant they couldn't easily catch up to him. In fact, it was utterly pointless chasing after him because he was one of the fastest half Nocru on earth.
The only problem was that he could run but his seraphic energy couldn't hide from Ji Yao. He could easily predict where that idiot would go next so he hid in a dark alley waiting for him. As soon as the man appeared a green force smacked his body into the wall.
It seemed Xiaoyu had also caught his trail and beat Ji Yao to it. Don't accuse Ji Yao of being slow. It's because she was extremely hyped having to spend time with Ji Yao fighting alongside him like in the past. This meant she had a lot of energy to expel.
Ji Yao languidly stood with his back against the wall facing the man. Looking down at his nails he said, "What's wrong Xiao Tuzi? I thought we are friends."
The man nervously laughed while trying to escape but Xiaoyu had no plans to let him go. That little bunny was nailed to the wall and wasn't going anywhere unless Ji Yao said so.
"We, we are but um..... my boss you know she is very very busy so I," he said but Ji Yao finished his sentence for him,
"So you ran?"
"I, well I, we have um," he stammered as Ji Yao suddenly walked over to him in slow steady steps. Wishing the wall could just open up and swallow him whole he pressed his back stiffly against it.
Ji Yao slammed a punch against the wall right by his ear causing it to crumble. "I don't give a damn whether she's busy or not. Take your pick..... I kill you right here or she cripples you later..... your choice."
Tuzi, 'QAQ'
Xiaoyu almost let go of Tuzi when Ji Yao slammed his fist against the wall. He looked so handsome making her heart melt into a puddle. She felt a tingle down south when she saw this sexy, rough and forceful side of Ji Yao.
Surely she wasn't the only one who thought this. Rui Li had been seeking Huishe Yue who owed her a handful of dog food when she caught this scene. Her brother's wife was wall slamming another man and Xiaoyu was watching. What kind of three-way was this?
Unwilling for her brother to get cuckolded she vanished on the spot leaving behind Rui Yewan who had no idea what was going on in his sister's head.
The cuckolded brother was busy inside a shop bullying an old man into selling him his set of calligraphy brushes. They seemed like rare antiques which would please Ji Yao but the old man wouldn't sell.
Rui Fei was so determined to get them that he wouldn't leave without them. Who would have thought in the time he was arguing with an old man Ji Yao would be wall slamming another man.
The faithful and loyal supporter of the YaoFei ship finally arrived and informed her brother of what she had seen saving the day. Rui Fei didn't even bother arguing with the old man anymore. He simply snatched the set and told Rui Li to pay for it before dashing away.
The old man, "..."
Thinking he could make the little girl pay for her brother's sin he started yelling and screaming at her. As always the strong like bullying the weak but unfortunately he had got it wrong this time. She was neither weak nor a pushover.
His loud shouts and screams gradually died down like hot charcoal fallen into the snow. That is because Rui Li took out her sabre twice her size and gently waved it around as though testing its weight. After studying her sabre for a full minute with an obsessive look in her eyes she raised her head and asked, "Now, how much do you want for it?"
Uh.... he would like to keep his life, that's what he wants for it. That young man could keep that set for all he cared. "Fre-free.... take it for free. No charge, no charge," he replied but Rui Li didn't like that answer.
She walked over to the counter and placed some gold coins before saying, "We aren't thieves Old man... we just hang around them.." Indeed they hung around thieves with high moral standing if there is ever such a thing.
