Chapter 331 - I Much Prefer It If You Use Your Whip

If that happens then this cub wouldn't be able to guarantee that he won't lose his mind. "Yao-ge," he said with his head lowered while tugging the corner of his sleeve.

Imagine a big man a head taller than Ji Yao gently tugging at his sleeve with an aggrieved look on his enchanting eyes. How could Ji Yao resist such an adorable sight?

Ji Yao looked away and continued staring in the great distance. The cold wind brushed against his cheeks and blew through his hair making his skin tingle. It was indeed cold but because he was angry earlier on he had insisted they take this journey.

Maybe it was because walking would help him cool down a little that he ordered them to carry on. In truth, if he hadn't walked and set up camp he might have snuck up on that boy while they were sleeping and smothered him with a pillow to death.

No one will know it was him who did it, right? Not that it mattered if his crew found out. No one would dare question his decision not even his father.

The two stood in silence for a while with one plotting the perfect murder in his mind and the other afraid he was going to get dumped. Rui Fei who had no idea how to coax his sweetheart could only embrace his waist from behind with his front strongly pressed against Ji Yao's back.

With his forehead plastered on Ji Yao's back, he said, "Yao-ge, I... are you mad at me?"

Ji Yao wanted to answer no but before he could open his mouth he smelt a foreign scent on Rui Fei. It wasn't stinky or anything like that but Ji Yao couldn't bear it.

It didn't matter whether it smelt nice or not. Any scent left on his boyfriend's body by someone else would invoke an involuntary sense of repulsion. For the first time in forever, he refused to be embraced by Rui Fei. He removed the arms crossed on his abdomen and took a step to the side saying, "I am not mad but you better dunk yourself in a stream before you hug me."

Rui Fei who had just been rejected felt a stinging pain at the pit of his stomach but he didn't show it on his face. He simply pinched the lapel of his robe and sniffed searching for the smell Ji Yao was talking about.

"I don't smell anything except your scent. Ah, Yao-ge if you are mad at me you can say so instead of using body odour as an excuse," replied Rui Fei as he took a step forward. He raised his armpits and said, "Smell it, I guarantee you I smell fresh and clean. Here, smell it."

Ji Yao, "..."

"Take one more step and I will hit you," warned Ji Yao his expression serious but who was he dealing with?

A sly grin appeared on Rui Fei's face as he leered at him with flirtatious eyes. His gaze slowly shifted to the hilt of his sword before moving up to Ji Yao's face as though undressing him with his eyes. "I much prefer it if you use your whip to do it."

Ji Yao's face felt hot and his ears turned a darker shade of red but because it was in the night it was barely visible. His heart skipped a beat and he felt a little shy. Why would the mention of a whip make him feel so excited with all his nerve endings tingling with excitement?

Having destabilized the target's emotions he moved closer. As he lightly bit his lower lip his hand moved discretely to touch Ji Yao's hand. Just as the tips of his fingers were about to brush against Ji Yao's skin he said, "You can tie me down as well. I swear I won't protest," whispering the latter sentence.

Ji Yao felt so tempted but at the same time, he couldn't bear that scent. So what should one do when trapped in between the edge of a cliff and a persistent boyfriend? He could either explain that he didn't like the scent on Rui Fei's body so he should leave him alone or he could just jump off the cliff. Guess which one he picked?

Ji Yao suddenly arched his back destabilising his centre of gravity before falling off the cliff. A terrified Rui Fei reached out to grab him his heart beating in his ears. In his moment of panic, he had even forgotten that either of them wasn't human.

A smug expression appeared on Ji Yao's face as he dropped down and that look immediately brought Rui Fei back to reality. His heart settled as he watched Ji Yao flip once in mid-air then land at the bottom in a steady stance with an aggressive air to it.

A cloud of dust surrounded him as he got up with his provocative gaze on Rui Fei.

"Aren't you coming or you are... scared?" asked Ji Yao in a condescending tone.

Rui Fei who had been called a wuss for no reason said, "Yao-ge you are so cruel," as he looked down at him.

Ji Yao sighed as he looked away mumbling, "I should have known your Huishe lineage descended from chickens... you are such a pussy."

The moment he said it Ji Yao knew he would have to pay a heavy price. The two stared at each other for a while as though time had frozen. Two seconds later Ji Yao took off running while Rui Fei yelled,

"I will show you exactly who is a pussy between us when I catch you." He jumped off the cliff and ran after him leaving behind a confused crowd.

Rui Yewan was standing there with a stupefied expression while closing Rui Li's ears but it was too late. She heard it so did everybody else. Xunshi Zhe was the first to approach the cliff and saw two shadows in the night one chasing as the other fled.

"Haha.....I um, I am guessing we are setting up camp," he said with a nervous smile trying to do crowd control.

"Sounds like fun. I need to catch up and see which between them is a pussy. My money is on saozi," said Rui Li before jumping off as well.

Rui Yewan tried to stop her but she slipped away like a snake before jumping off the cliff.

"I say it's Rui Fei," said Big Hei taking out a pouch of money.

"Are you shitting me? That kid Fei is a beast," said Zhang Li tossing a golden pouch in his hand.

Soon a round of betting began with a lot of people backing up Ji Yao. It was Lady Ching Sei who spoke up first saying, "What the hell is wrong with you?" This made everyone bow their heads in shame for even betting on something this stupid. But what she said next broke the brains of these simpletons.

"I love Ji Yao with all my heart but he doesn't stand a chance. Put fifty on Rui Fei," she said tossing the money pouch at Zhang Li.

"That is if Fei-ge doesn't let him win," mumbled Rui Yewan before jumping off the cliff as well.

Let's see if Rui Fei would really let his wife win for the sake of harmony.
