Chapter 336 - Mysophia Is A Weakness

While others search for what they can take, a true king searches for what he can give - Mufasa. The entire history of piracy was and is stained with deceit, greed and treachery. It is a line of business associated with nothing positive but the Ji family were a different breed.

From one pirate king to the next they didn't care about the common folk as they weren't their subjects. That was the responsibility of the emperor. What they cared about were their crew and the crew's families. They were willing to sacrifice themselves to protect their people and would never shy away from the front line.

Even when Ji Yao's grandfather faced off with the Nocru, he was at the frontline with his now sunken ship, black trojan, fending off the threat to his territory. Well, that is until he fell in love with one of them and formed an alliance thus Ji Wen was born.

It is this characteristic that made the Ji family produce powerful kings well deserving to rule the waters off the coast of Hyesong.

Watching this young man give everything he had, drawing all the monsters towards him to protect his crew was like watching a celestial being ridding the world of evil and protecting innocent souls though I highly doubt a single person in his crew was innocent.

As the bodies piled up into small hills Ji Yao's complexion worsen. It was the first time he felt like his mysophobia was a big problem. He very much appreciated the challenge but resented the sickening feeling that came with it. After battling for so long he could no longer repress the urge to throw up.

It seemed the creature planned this from the start. It meant to defeat him by disgusting him which in some way was actually working. The rusty smell of blood mixed with the rotting stench saturated the air. The entire ground was covered in blood, burnt corpses and chunks of flesh scattered everywhere.

The entire scene was very unsightly but Ji Yao couldn't afford to back down. With his sword in hand, he slowly strode forward with his menacing gaze fixed on the group of creatures standing opposite him growling loudly.

It seemed they were waiting for something or someone to give them orders. Because they couldn't make decisions on their own they could only watch him while trying to intimidate him. The two were at an impasse for a very long time.

That's because a certain someone had dragged a passed out body of a creature to the big boss. Rui Fei was staring at the Aoyin creature with a disdainful gaze as he said, "You are an ugly son of a bitch, aren't you?"

Aoyin, "...!!!"

They were here for a fight not to roast each other, okay! Rui Fei felt something sticky at the bottom of his feet and showed a disgusted expression. Beneath his brocade boots were fleshy threads made of coagulated blood and beside it was a flashy yet cheap dress that seemed familiar to him.

It must have belonged to that older sister who tried to molest him in front of his wangfei. "If you are going to eat people you should at least clean up after yourself. Fuck.... now Yao-ge won't let me back on the ship unless I hose myself down. Tsk, how hateful," he said before stomping his foot on the creature he had just dragged all the way here.

The amount of force he used wasn't light. It was so heavy that the unconscious creature suddenly sprung up squailing like a pig. The light in the Aoyin's eyes flashed as it watched the creature it thought was dead come back to life out of nowhere.

If could speak right now it would mutter, "Oh shit," but because it couldn't the best thing it could do was take action. The creature that was half dead at Rui Fei's feet suddenly got up intending to kill itself as instructed by the Aoyin creature but before it could take a step forward its hind leg was caught preventing it from leaving.

Its body jerked trying to free its leg but it just wouldn't barge. From the look in its eyes and breathing pattern, it was truly putting its all into escaping. It was even scratching the ground leaving deep track marks stained with blood.

Rui Fei was barely breaking a sweat holding on to that jerking leg. Though he wore a smile on his face his eyes were shooting daggers at the Aoyin creature. With a slight tug, he pulled the creature back and slammed it in the ground and threatened to pinch the eye on the body of the creature like squeezing an annoying pimple. If Ji Yao ever found out that the only reason why the creatures stopped attacking was because of this he would be shocked.

"Now that I have got your full attention, recall all of your vile creatures otherwise I will poke each and every eyeball on this body. Let me see how many they are..... one, two, three... uh, I missed one four..... five," he said with his finger poking each and every one of them.

The Aoyin creature that had never been this insulted in its entire life roared with its mouth wide open threatening him. A gust of foul-smelling wind blew Rui Fei's silver hair like he was in a wind tunnel.

Annoyed he pinched his nose while his other finger ruthlessly gouged the eye nearest to him till the eye popped out. It was nothing like a normal eye but it was probably ten times more painful than gouging out a regular eye. It was like a red marble with a black pupil at the centre.

Rui Fei pinched the tiny eyeball in between his fingers as he glared at the creature that was wailing on the ground with its fur flying all over the place. It was no different from a young master who had never experienced any hardship in his entire life.

Somehow Ji Yao found this amusing. With a malicious glint in his eyes and the smile on his face gone, he said, "You can't even stand a little pain yet you are strutting around here like you are some type of big villain. If you ask me I say you are a big coward hiding behind a little boy... You don't even hunt your own food. It's served to you on a silver platter like a young prince."

As soon as he said that he pinched the marble looking eye and the disgusting fluids from the eye flowed down the tip of his fingers.

If Ji Yao were to see him like this he would never think this was the same cub who clung to him all the time and occasionally acted cute.. He looked like a sinister heartless being surrounded by a deadly aura.
