The boy simply stretched his hand out and the sword that was coming after him with killing intent was suddenly frozen midair. The sword tried to lunge forward multiple times but it couldn't move like it was glued in place.
For the first time since it was forged by Qilin Hao's own hand it faced an opponent it couldn't intimidate. That surely took a toll on this sword's self-confidence. Like a kid who cries loudly to call back up after realising they can't fight back, it made an annoying high pitched sound to wake Ji Yao. Unfortunately, Ji Yao was knocked out cold.
The only thing that sound managed to do was prompt Ji Yao to cover his face with the pillow as he mumbled something inaudible. Seeing Ji Yao shuffle like that, Rui Fei sent out a grey fog that immediately surrounded the sword creating a sound barrier.
Livid, he walked over with his hands behind his back and threatened, "Make another sound and I will use you to chop wood until you are blunt and useless."
To some this threat seems like nothing but to this sword it was enough to have it playing possum midair. Rui Fei languidly waved his hand and the sword was flown back into its sheath and locked inside like it was on time out.
Terrified to the point that its blade was shaking it stayed put possibly thinking, 'Well, I did my best. You are on your own, boss.'
Rui Fei chuckled before turning on his heel toward Ji Yao's bed. He slowly opened the curtain with his gaze locked on the blanched handsome face radiating under the moonlight. He knelt by the bedside and gently stroked Ji Yao's hair as he brushed it off the man's face.
His heart was beating hard against his chest as he caressed Ji Yao's cheeks with his fingers. A sweet smile appeared on his face when he realised Ji Yao's skin was as soft as it looked. This unfortunately piqued his curiosity that he slowly moved his finger to the man's parted lips.
He swallowed as his thumb brushed against the soft lips that looked as appetising as ripe cherries. His finger felt hot as he brushed against those succulent lips. He wondered if they would taste like cherries as he subconsciously leaned down.
Each time he moved forward his breath stagnated with his heartbeat quickening. His throat felt dry as he caught a whiff of that breathtaking scent that he liked so much. Somehow he thought if he kissed those lips his thirst would be quenched. All that rage from before would vanish and never return.
He felt his heartbeat in his ears as he drew closer and closer. But just as he was about to touch those sweet lips with his the sound of a sword falling over brought him out of his trance. He looked over in the sword's direction and squinted his eyes in dissatisfaction.
There was a lace curtain between him and that sword but his gaze was still so intimidating that the sword shuddered in fear. Boy, how it wished it could shrink in its sheath further than this. Rui Fei retracted his piercing gaze and regained his senses.
He was just about to kiss Ji Yao without thinking it through. What if Ji Yao woke up while he was busy eating tofu? Wouldn't that earn him the title 'pervert of the year'? He suppressed the fire growing inside and stood up to help Ji Yao take off his boots.
It seemed alcohol changed Ji Yao personality drastically. Rigid when sober but sloppy when drunk.
After taking off Ji Yao's boots he grabbed a basin with water and a towel. He wrung the towel but before he could place it at the back of Ji Yao's neck he froze in place.
In the time he was gone Ji Yao had somehow managed to mess up his clothes. His outer robe had loosened exposing the inner robe which also loosen partially revealing his collarbone and chest.
Rui Fei, "....."
Was this Ji Yao being low key ostentatious and begging to be taken advantage of? His body felt astonishingly hot like something inexplicable had been awakened.
His pandora's box was broken into by a man. He was a sixteen year old with no experience in that department which is really good as he shouldn't be participating in those kinds of activities at that age.
But seeing Ji Yao like this it was like something inside of him was awakened. The sleeping tiger got so curious that he wanted to touch that snow-white skin that barely saw the sun.
Biting his lower lip in hesitation he decided to be a low key pervert. If he happens to accidentally brush against Ji Yao's exposed skin while placing a towel behind his neck it wouldn't be counted as taking advantage, right?
After convincing himself that there was absolutely nothing wrong with that he stretched out his hand with the towel and placed it behind Ji Yao's neck with his burning gaze on the man's chest.
It seemed the coldness from the towel was extremely comfortable as Ji Yao smiled contentedly in his sleep like he had received saving grace. This kind of response encouraged Rui Fei so much that he slowly moved the towel towards Ji Yao's chest wiping it clean. Just as he was about to touch the untouchable Rui Fei moaned before shuffling to sleep on his side with his back facing Rui Fei.
Rui Fei, "....."
Well, it was game over for this pure young man. He was done for. There was no way he was going to see Ji Yao the same way. If he stayed here any longer he would most definitely take advantage of a defenceless Ji Yao. He immediately dropped everything like a hot potato and left without a second thought.
On the tallest branch of the white pine tree, a bird witnessed a boy rushing out of the captain's room like his ass was on fire. He was so nervous that he tripped outside the window which was extremely comical. If this bird didn't know any better he would think this boy was running away from a beast.
Thinking Ji Yao must have done something to the boy that he had him running away like his life depended on it the bird brushed it off. If only he hadn't ignored it and reported it to Qilin Hao like he was supposed to he would have been spared from her wrath.
How could a Qilin be with Huishe? It was just as impossible as oil and water mixing. What she didn't realise was that water can mix with oil with external factors which meant it wasn't entirely impossible.. Anyway, that's a story for another day.
