Chapter 117 - A Threat Or Just A Little Chit Chat

As soon as these words fell the expressions on their faces changed drastically. It seemed they had finally realised the significance of Rui Fei in Ji Yao's life. It seemed this little sprout had already planted a long taproot straight into their Pirate King's heart. A root so tangled it would be hard to eradicate even with the strongest pesticide.

This meant their third grievance was bound to get rejected even if they coax Ji Yao first. With that said they laid their arms to rest and accepted this as their new reality now.

While everyone else was rather accepting, Zhang Li was a little dissatisfied because the culprit who sold him out had got off scot-free. To make matters worse the guy cleaned up well and he was just as handsome as his nephew. Talk about a double slap in the face.

He was about to find some way to vent out his frustration when Lady Ching Sei spoke, "What happened to your neck?"

She had finally spoken for the first time after the unfortunate secret was exposed. Of course, it had to be Ji Yao that could make her talk even if she was in a bad mood. The problem though was that she was bringing up something that was embarrassing for both Ji Yao and Rui Fei.

Ji Yao reassured her but it was Xiaoyu who spilt the beans. She was a little upset about the whole thing with Ji Yao defending Huishe Yue for Rui Fei so she said, "He said a dog did it, humph..... like I would believe that."

Zhang Li suddenly raised his head and interjected, "That wasn't done by a dog, it was most definitely done by a human," earning him a ferocious glare from Ji Yao.

Rui Fei the half-human that had done the crime suddenly retorted, "Well, you look like you had a fight with a cat and lost. If it was up to me I would have carved pervert on your forehead."

The funny part was the irony of this situation. A pervert was calling out another pervert on his bullshit when that pervert was even bigger. I know tongue-twisting, right? Anyway, Rui Fei was the biggest pervert of course, only towards Ji Yao.

Recalling yesterday's tragedy Zhang Li tucked his tail between his legs not even daring to look at Lady Ching Sei. He had completely forgotten that this matter was still fresh and all one had to do was mention it to silence him.

Ji Yao wasn't really into this dark cloud looming over his crew so he did what his father would do. There were two things that could silence the concord and that is meat and liquor so he pulled that card from his father's bag of tricks and recommended a feast.

It's safe to say they were having a party tonight in someone else's home of course. While the sounds of jeers and applause reverberated in the room, the owner of the palace was locked up underneath the same prison Huishe Yue was locked up in for decades.

This wasn't done under Ji Yao's order as he was passed out last night. It was Big Hei and Xunshi Zhe who took the initiative to teach this dog emperor some manners. The man could barely survive a night in this hell hole with his concubines, eunuchs and maidservants.

And why did these two involve the innocent? It was because they truly believed these people needed to realise that all the benefits and perks that came with this place were all carried under the back of a Nocru who was forced to live like an animal for five decades.

After wallowing in hell on earth for more than twenty four hours the ashen pale faced people were soon released under Ji Yao's order. He had to exchange one last word with the emperor and by that, I mean threatening him so he invited him for a chat.

When the emperor came out he resembled a pig that had rolled in the mud. That's because he was literally rolled down the stairs by Big Hei and because of inertia, it meant he rolled into the tunnels. At that time he was still alone in the tunnels so he wandered around looking for the door but because it was too dark he also landed into a pile of carcass.

This could be said to be the lowest this emperor had ever been. He not only lost face but also his dignity. He ordered one of his eunuchs to take off their robe and give it to him when the rest of the party was thrown in but no matter how many times he changed clothes his entire body was emitting a rotten stench that couldn't be wiped away.

It was because of this he was hosed down by Xunshi Zhe before he entered his own study that had been occupied by Ji Yao. He could hear faint sounds of boisterous laughter coming from afar but he couldn't care less what they were doing as long as they spared his life. He had seriously underestimated these pirates and even provoked them in a moment of lapsed judgment.

After being tossed in that hell hole he did some serious thinking. What in this world prompted him to attack Ji Wen's fleet despite the odds being against him. The winner was already determined from the start so what gave him the balls to initiate an attack? This was a perfect example of inviting trouble in one's home.

His body was pushed forward tripping him to the ground. He looked up and found this kid looking through his memorials without batting an eye. He was about to ask him if his father taught him manners when Ji Yao raised his head staring at him with eyes as red as those of a beast.

He immediately lowered his head and swallowed back all those words. Ji Yao flung the memorial at him before saying, "A pathetic excuse of a father.." This reprimand did not just spring up from nowhere.
