Chapter 129 - Teaching A Nephew Some Manners

That was the only time they saw him express such deep emotion. But this version of Rui Fei was beyond them. They should have been the ones to try and soothe him as they had known him the longest but his reaction had everything to do with his bloodline rendering them useless.

Suppressed by his seraphic energy like the others they hid away making sure to stay out of his line of sight. In his current state, there was no brother or sister just people stopping him from jumping into the sea. Now that he had been thrown overboard by his uncle the two siblings rushed over to the railing and called out his name.

But they were only met by a heavy splash showering them with salty water. Underwater, Rui Fei was still fighting despite being in the arms of a Huishe a hundred times his size. He was being pushed down to the deepest depth sending him furthest from the Qilin.

He kept struggling but because of this aggressive emotion his Huishe projecting around him was agitated but they couldn't combine. He really wanted to merge so he could deal a good beating to this old man.

Rui Fei's veins were threatening to burst protruding under his skin. These weren't regular blood vessels but his aetherial veins. The more Huishe Yue pushed him the greater the flow of seraphic energy in his aetherial veins exceeding their capacity. It was as though a switch was being flipped inside his body. The leash on his core was unravelling as he speedily approached the breaking point.

The moment they hit the sea bed a loud roar was heard with the cloud of sediment rising from the collision. The raw below expressing deep emotion could only mean one thing. The full awakening of Huishe's true form.

As the sediments settled a little one could see through the cloud, two sea serpents. One was black its eyes as red as blood bearing its teeth exhibiting a superiority complex. Its face was like that of a dragon had a bright light shining through its intricate patterns used by the Huishe as a unique identity marker. It was majestic and stood like a king meant to be obeyed.

Well, the aura and overbearing attitude were there but the problem was that it was very small in size compared to the other Huishe facing it. You would think with all that grandeur and shining lights when it transformed it would be ginormous but nope.

This was the perfect example of a 'huh' moment. But one shouldn't look at the size and think it wasn't powerful enough. Even Huishe Yue wasn't taunting his size. In fact, he was fighting the urge to bow to this little ancestor because the amount of seraphic energy coming from him was enough to soften his knees.

He was about to congratulate him on his full awakening when Rui Fei suddenly swung his mighty tail and struck Huishe Yue in the face. It seemed he still held a grudge about the tossing him in the water incident and pushing him down to the bottom of the sea away from his beloved Qilin.

'How petty.... I just saved you from fighting with your wife and waking up a single man yet what do I get in return? A freaking tail smack! How disrespectful. My dear sister let me teach your son on your behalf,' he thought before going all crazy uncle on him.

There was sudden turbulence stirring the waters like a hurricane had hit underwater. It was as though someone had stolen King Triton's favourite egg salad sandwich and now he was punishing everyone by turning the sea into a giant blender.

The intense confrontation between uncle and nephew was so powerful that it was felt a great distance where the three were fighting it out with a lizard slash snake monster.

Ji Yao who had been busy strangling the monster while dodging the strikes from the serpents suddenly felt the intense pressure coming from afar. Soon the waves came crashing down sweeping him, his companions and the lizard creature away.

Caught in the crashing waves Ji Yao couldn't help but curse that pair of uncle and nephew. If it weren't them then who else could it be?

The waves were so powerful that they swept them to the rocky shore lizard included. Whilst the humans were still trying to gather themselves the lizard-like creature tried to scurry away without being seen but who was it kidding.

It couldn't pull a fast one on Ji Yao. Before it even hit the water, Ji Yao took his sword which was still a flaming whip and hooked both of the lizard's legs. "Where do you think you are going?" he said tugging his sword. The monster roared with the only remaining snake on its back hissing at him in an intimidating manner. Ji Yao wasn't really in a good mood so he made an intrinsic hand signal and roasted the snake without a second thought.

He had saltwater in every nook and cranny of his body which he wasn't too pleased with. To make matters worse he was washed ashore by that lousy pair. In conclusion, not in a good mood. This meant he was going to take it out on this creature that took it upon itself to land into his hand.

While Ji Yao was deciding on whether to use to turn the skin of the Lizard into a pouch or maybe a rug, granted that would be the most uncomfortable and ugliest rug ever, a man was crouching atop a mountain. His black robe flattered with the wind as he gazed down at them. The corners of his mouth quirked up all of a sudden.

It seemed he wasn't upset about his lizard pet. He was a little surprised to find out Qilin Hao's son had brought the entire calvary. With a throaty chuckle, he brushed the dust off his lizard skin wrist braces before disappearing into the shadows. He didn't care about losing his pet because he could always make plenty of others.

He just couldn't wait to see how his cousin's son was going to fare with all his pets in and outside the city. This was bound to be an interesting show.

Meanwhile, Rui Fei and his good old uncle Yue had finished wreaking havoc and returned to normal. They had passed out from too much energy expulsion. No one won the fight which meant that Rui Fei still had a grudge and this uncle still hadn't taught him manners.

Huishe Yue was angry about the tail smack that on impulse he stood up and said, "I am going to tell Ji Yao your little secret."

At first, he wasn't really paying attention squeezing excess water out of his silvery grey hair. This meant it took him a while to realise what Huishe Yue meant. When he finally caught up he stood up so fast you would think he had been stung.. That was when he learnt that his estranged uncle was petty as fuck. Why not deal with their problems man to man instead of using such underhanded tactics?
