'Fireteam Management?' Connor was wondering what this option was, he quickly opened the menu. The menu showed the names of his current fireteam members and their ranks. This was not surprising for him but there was a small part on the right side of each name, it was a small box. He did not know what that box was, he tried clicking on it to no avail. Suddenly, a notification appeared.
<Unlocked: Class Management - You can change the classes of your soldiers.>
Connor raised one of his eyebrows and attempted to click the box again expecting a menu to open up this time, but it did not. Connor was getting irritated. He did not know how to change the classes of his soldiers. He closed the management menu, suddenly a lightbulb went off in his head, he had the urge to try something. What if the change was done through actions and not with a button?
"Private Irene." Connor spoke.
"Sir!" Irene replied as she saluted.
"I would like you to take care of the job being the most important person in this fireteam, you shall be the medic." Connor said.
"Understood sir!" Irene replied while saluting, suddenly her M4 disappeared and was replaced with an FN P90 a weapon that was renowned for being light and easy to carry, a medic had to be agile. This weapon provided them with both defence, offence and agility at the same time. Her gear had also changed, her helmet now had a red cross in the front, the same symbol appearing on her left shoulder. Connor was happy at the scene and quickly opened the fireteam management menu once again, he saw that next to Irene's name there was a rod with a snake winding itself around it. A symbol that was known in the medical field. Connor had a slight smile on his face, he knew that he had seen this symbol in the hospital when he was young, this meant his idea worked.
"Alright, next one… Private Frost!" Connor said.
"Sir!" Frost replied as he saluted.
"You shall be the eyes of the fireteam staying out of sights, agile and strong enough to take out our enemies in one hit." Connor decided on Frost's role. The plan in his mind was simple. Himself and Miles would take on the front, Irene in the middle and Evan in the back. Frost would be tasked with recon and long range advantage, watching the team.
"Yes, sir!" Frost answered. Same as before, his gear started to change. His M4 rifle disappeared and was replaced with an M39 EMR Mk2. Which boasted near silent operation and top-notch accuracy with the brand new Accuracy Improvement, AIM sights. His uniform also had some changes. He now had a very low profile uniform that had an active camouflage feature. If the soldier laid down in position for several seconds, the uniform would start to melt into the surroundings, changing the colour. It was the perfect gear for a marksman. Connor noticed one thing that did not happen for Irene, Frost was carrying two weapons, on top of having his M39 EMR, he also had an HK MP7 PDW. Connor nodded, with this Frost could also utilize himself in close range battles.
'Medic and Marksman, survivability and long-range done, next.'
"Private Evan!" The last person was Evan.
"Yes, sir!" Evan replied, saluting.
"I want you to be the heavy firepower of the team." Connor said, with the medic and marksman done, they would require someone who could provide cover and suppression. What they needed was an automatic rifleman, Evan would be the one.
"Understood, sir!" Evan replied, his gear started to change, same as the others, his M4 disappeared and was replaced with an M249 Light Machine Gun. His vest and backpack got bigger, he looked like a tank from the outside.
Connor smiled. The fireteam was ready. They had a sniper, a medic and some heavy firepower. He thought about himself and Miles. He could already use any kind of weapon he wanted according to the latest rank up reward he got, although he hadn't tried it yet. He had other plans for Miles, so it was better for him to keep his M4 for now. Connor and Miles would be the frontline for the fireteam.
Connor looked at Miles, he was silently watching the surroundings to prevent anyone from observing them. He then turned to the three soldiers.
"Alright, everyone good?" Connor asked. He wanted to make sure that everyone is ready for a battle.
"Yes, commander!" the three shouted in unison, saluting.
"Miles, let's return." Connor said towards Miles, the latter nodded and Miles started to move towards the inn.
Connor and the rest started following him.

Elicia was perplexed, she had to be very silent and still on top of using her mana to hide her presence from Miles but she was able to observe what was going on in that alleyway. She saw three people appearing in front of Connor out of nowhere. This was basically teleportation magic! She had never seen anyone using it, it wasn't even possible for her. According to the legends, more than 500 years ago when The Great War happened, the amount of mana in the world had lessened. Many of the legendary mages had perished in battles, taking their secrets to the grave. Teleportation magic was one of the legendary spells that were lost in The Great War.
Elicia bit her lip, the more she observed this group, more was revealed. Her understanding of mages was changing almost everytime Connor did something. If this only a portion of their true power her master Aldren did not even stand a chance against them.

The Great War was a series of battles that took place 592 years ago in the continent of Allunia. Although some details were lost through the time it is said that a powerful force appeared beyond the mountains and brought nothing less than destruction, famine and death. Some people referred to them as monsters, some referred them as saviours. The Great King, Alexander, The Grand Mage, Adium, The Strongest Warrior, Doras tried their best to repel the invaders back to their homeland, however, all of them had failed in their battles. Almost all of Allunia had collapsed, but then, something unexpected had happened. The invaders who almost destroyed all humanity suddenly retreated behind the mountains. Researchers argued that these vile creatures were from another continent, after the battle ended, the losses were critical but the humanity had somehow managed to win. Allunia had lost many kingdoms, great kings, mages and warriors in this period. Many explorers were sent to venture beyond the mountains to discover the true identity of these creatures, never to return...
