Chapter 10：She couldn't do anything

Zola couldn't decide what to do?She loved him,but how could she go against the customs and traditions?She knew that she couldn't do anything in this matter.She had to go with the wave.She couldn't run away from the situation now.She has to face the world.She rose and went to the garden.

She heard her father was discussing something with her uncle.She went near them."You should go to meet the parents of Neil.I can't see her in this state.She wholeheartedly loved Neil.So we should help her.Her mother is stubborn.But we must try."

"Brother don't worry.You are not well.Don't give pressure on your brain.It will harm you.I'll go to his home today."

"Ok ,thank you very much."

She knew her family is not that much in oppose to her marriage to Neil.But it was Neil who could not come forward for his shortcomings.Love is not everything in our life.Apart from love we have to consider so many things.Her uncle was going to Neil's home to speak about their relationship with his parents.She knew they would not accept her.Neil once told her that his mother warned him not to meet her.She wanted a beautiful bride for her son.Education of the bride is not important for her.So she clearly told him to stay away from Zola.He didn't told her anything in details about his mother but she felt that his mother is not easy to deal.Neil himself was not to much close to his mother compared to his father.Zola knew that his mother would directly reject her.Would it be good to send her uncle there.There is a custom in her family that marriage proposals should be come from groom's side.But if her uncle would go there with her proposal what would other people say?It is not good at all.But without trying how can she lose the hope?Let them try.

In the evening she was writing something on her desk .She heard her uncle was calling her.She went near him.Her uncle stared at her with gloomy face.She could guess what happened by his look.He told her to meet her at the garden within 30 minutes and entered her father's room.She went to the garden and waited for him.Forty minutes passed.She knew nothing good happened in Neil's home.She mentally prepared for the worst.After five minutes her uncle came and sat near her.She asked,"What happened uncle?Why do you called me?"

Her uncle replied,"Does Neil really loved you?"

"Yes uncle.He does.Why are you asking me?"

She became speechless.'How could he be so much cruel?If he couldn't marry me at least respect my feelings.How could he said that it is my one sided love and he has proof?If it was not his love then what was it?How could he say this to my uncle?He didn't let my uncle to meet his parents also.How dare He?What is he thinking himself?Yes !My uncle is correct.He did not love me.If he loved me he would've try to marry me.I have tried my best.If he is not interested in me I can't do anything.I'll marry the person whom my mother choose.It is destined after all.Neil was correct.He is not made for me.'

She told her uncle,"Uncle you are right.He didn't love me.I am sorry for the situation I made .Please tell my mother that I am going to marry the person whom she has selected.Tell her not to worry.I have given my word."

Her uncle happily told,"Dear Zola thank you very much.You have saved your family from a crisis.Your family would no more be in crisis.May God bless you dear."

Next day was very busy day .Aurthur came to meet her.Although she gave her consent,but she could not accept Aurtur so easily.
