*You received a new mail*
While Wil was checking out the address, he received another mail from Silver.
"Hmm, new mail? Let's see…"
After reading the message, he downloaded the attachments and opened the photos one by one.
The first picture is of an unfamiliar middle aged-man in his mid-forties. A special feature about him is that he has a vertical scar across his right eye as if someone tried to stab his eyes before.
Other than that, he looks completely like an average westerner one would find anywhere.
"So, he's mom's husband, huh?" Wil looked at him in a little bit of disgust, "forget about his mediocre job, even his looks weren't worth compared to my dad. I wonder what mom saw in him though…"
Then, Wil clicked on the next picture
"Eh? This girl... Mia?" Wil was taken aback as he saw the picture of a familiar 12-year-old girl who has a pretty smile on her lips while her eyes seemed to emit the rays of innocence and naivety.
Glancing at the picture carefully, Wil slapped his thigh in realization, "now, I remember her. Isn't she a member of Saturday?
Wow, my sister is a future star idol? Hmm, as her brother, I should support her dream, right. Since I was about to buy an entertainment agency, how about buying that "ANS Entertainment Agency" in secret and… Wait a second. Brother?
Didn't she have an older brother named Rey?"
Wil quickly put his thoughts away and clicked on the next picture to see a familiar black-haired and blue-eyed 18-year old boy, who was sitting on the ground with a Golden Retriever dog in between his hands.
A frown appeared o Wil's face as he went into deep thoughts again. "It is indeed Rey. But, Dad said I only have a sister. He didn't mention anything about having another half-sibling unless…"
Wil glanced at the picture of Rey and mumbled, "He's either adopted or he's the son of Mr. Quilton from his first marriage, perhaps?
No, Hyori said SnowDew confirmed with Evie that they are real siblings. Hmm, maybe, they lied to them. Parents often lie to the children. All this time didn't Dad also lie to me that mom died…"
Without thinking much of it, Wil went to the fourth one to see his mom's picture.
Just like the second and third, the fourth one is also of a familiar woman but Wil's face is filled with a mixture of shock and confusion.
He quickly went to the fifth and final one and saw the family picture of the man and woman were standing apart on either end. In the middle, Rey and Mia along with the dog posed together for the camera.
He stared at the picture for a while before quickly dialing the number and shouted at Silver, "What the hell is my master doing here? You said you sent the pictures of my mom's family."
Upon hearing the raging voice on the other side of the phone, Silver took a deep breath and then replied, "It's indeed your mom's family. She's Scarlet Smith, your biological mother."
As Wil stood up on the bed with a shock, his leg hit the laptop and it flipped before crashing onto the floor.
Without caring about its condition, Wil spoke seriously, "don't joke around. I know how my mom looks like. Moreover, isn't this Andrea? Those horrible training memories are still hovering in my head."
"Sigh…" Wil then heard a deep sigh from the other side.
Followed by a sigh, Silver replied, "The photo in your bedroom belongs to someone else. Andrea is your mother's twin, or should I say, your maternal aunt.
Lord Philip lied to you because he doesn't want to confuse Andrea for your mother as they look alike. Or maybe, he…"
"He doesn't want me to find out how my mother even looks like, right?" said Wil finished his sentence before asking him in a cold tone while his voice is quivering, and his hands started to shake, trying to control his anger, "So, who is that woman? In the album that's hidden in the locker, I have seen pictures of them looking very close.
Did my dad have an affair with her that lead to their divorce? Tell me the truth, Silver. Right now, I can't believe any of Dad's words from the past.
I think even the words from the letter is also a lie. Tell me, did that bullet in dad's head is also from 20 years ago during an assassination attempt from the Bridge family?
My mom wasn't mentally ill, right? She must have left him because he had an affair with that woman, right?"
After a few seconds of silence, Wil growled as he punched the wall, erupting up, "tell me the f**k**g truth, right now."
Another deep sigh was heard from the other side.
"Wil, don't misunderstand your father."
As soon as Wil heard Silver calling by his first name directly in a serious tone, he calmed down and listened quietly.
"She's your father's ex-fiancée. I don't know the details but she died before Phil even met your mother.
As for the others, it's better if you never learn of it. The world of Mafia is a lot deeper than just assassinations, guns, and casinos. Lord Philip might have thought…"
While Silver trying to explain Wil, the latter interrupted him, "forget it. I'm tired. Let's talk later."
He quickly disconnected the call, not willing to listen to Silver, and threw the mobile phone aside casually before clenching his fist, "No matter what you say to defend him, it doesn't change the fact that my father is nothing more than a liar. I'll find out the truth by myself."
Then, he once again looked at the picture, "is she really my mom?"

Wular City;
"Manager Luo, please get me a cola," spoke a customer loudly.
"Yes," replied Xu Luoyang as she swiftly moved towards the refrigerator and delivered it to his counter before returning quickly toward the reception desk as she saw a new customer entered.
Giving his ID card to scan, the customer asked, "I haven't seen you before. Are you new here?"
Luoyang nodded, "yes. I joined two days ago. So, you want a cabin for a computer or a VR helmet?"
Instead of answering her, the customer asked her in return, "xiao Jiang mentioned Summersoft capsules will arrive this week."
"Eh? Capsules? I know vitamin capsules but never heard of Summersoft capsules.
Wait a second. This isn't even a medical shop. What is this guy talking about? Don't tell me Boss Qian sells capsules illegally or something?" Luoyang went into a daze; clueless about what is the customer asking for.
"Hello, miss…"
"Ah, yes. I'm sorry. I don't think they have arrived yet. Boss Qian is currently sleeping. I'll ask her about it once she woke up."
After Luoyang dealt with the problem, she started counting the money in her head, "so far, my working hours reached 20. That's 220 Yuan. I have 428 Yuan left with me. Since the lodging and food are free, I was able to save a total of 628 Yuan.
The flight ticket costs 22500 credits to reach Yarlford City. But, if I take a bus from here to Bey City, and then, take a ship to Yarlford, the costs might be cut off to more than half, and I can use the remaining money for lodging and food."
