Chapter 175: Depositing the money

*Ding! 500 gold coins deducted from inventory.

Putting the last pouch, he received the thousandth notification. It was only then, the system sent the notification regarding the contract.

*Ding! Eldershore Region is declared autonomous by the Queen.

*Ding! Player Time Traveler is appointed as the Governor of Eldershore Region.

The first notification was sent across the kingdom while the second one was only sent to the players who were from that specific region.

The following notifications were received by Wil alone.

*Ding! Congratulations, you are appointed as the Governor of the Eldershore region. You have absolute authority in the region.

*Ding! The taxes from the Eldershore were currently exempted.

"It's my pleasure doing business with you, Your Majesty. Now, if you please excuse me, I have to leave." Wil stood up and bowed before turning around to leave the place.

"Tch, Whatever…" Rikilda muttered and turned her attention to the heap of pouches.

Then, she ordered the soldiers to transfer the gold coins to the treasury, and this time, they tripled it with General Gawyne volunteered to guard it personally.

As for Wil, he left the palace with a triumphant smile on his face, thinking, "What a Fools. The currency value isn't that simple as they think. They don't know that once the barrier disappears, along with the war, the trading between the nations will also start.

Once the first Empire is created and snatched the position of global currency, the Llyne gold coin will also change the value. Now that I think about it, previously the global currency was snatched by the Empire of Eden, isn't it? Hmm…"

As he started to think about it, he went into a dilemma whether he should go with the flow and use the knowledge to his advantage or whether he should go against it and use force to establish domination.

"Nah, let's not think too much, right now. One step at a time." Shaking his head, Wil left the palace and teleported to Eldershore city.

"Welcome to Llyne's Bank, Your highness." The bank employee greeted him with a bow.

"I want to clear the loan, first," Wil replied, straightening his back to maintain his outlook of a ruler.

*Ding! Your loan is cleared.

After clearing out the loan, he spoke, "I wish to withdraw money from the vault."

As she takes a handprint of him, the details were displayed before her eyes.

The 27000 gold coins that he deposited a while ago when the currency exchange rate is 1500 credits to 1 silver coin, now increased to 62307 gold coins according to the current exchange rate.

*Ding! 62307 gold is added to inventory.

Since it is a normal gold coin, it was added to his remaining two thousand and changed to 64,491 gold coins.

With a smile on his face, he then said, "I wish to deposit, now."

"Eh? Deposit?" The Elf was confused about why this Prince wants to withdraw the money first only to deposit again.

Wil nodded with a smile, "Yep."

He first handed a pouch of 500 gold coins to her. As she added it to his vault, he again handed another pouch.

Five hours later;

The sky has gotten dark. The bank was empty without any customers except for one, who was still busy handing a pouch filled with gold coins to the employee.

While the people standing behind him long abandoned the line and took the other counters, the elf was in a daze as she took the last pouch of 500 gold coins.

For the past five hours, as she was continuously taking the pouches and adding the gold to the vault, in a daze, she placed her arms to take another pouch.

But, Wil stopped handing the pouches, "It's over."

Only did then, she realized it's over and she glanced at the details. "One… One million?" She screamed at the top of her lungs after experiencing the shock of her life.

Because they were in a private space, her words weren't heard by the other employees, and Wil responded with a smile, "I expect the info of my funds will be kept secret. After all, it isn't easy to rule a region."

The elf misunderstood that the palace might have sent him funds to help to rule as the governor of the Eldershore region.

And because it might cause unrest among the civilians, he wants to keep it secret.

At least, that's what she thought, although the truth is far away from her guess.

Originally, they weren't supposed to be stored in bank but the restrictions were lifted after he became Governor of Eldershore. Since he's the absolute ruler here, they were bypassed.

As he turned to walk away, the employee glanced at the amount again and collapsed on the spot as it became too much for 10-gold coins per week salaried person like her.

Stretching his arms, Wil spoke to himself as he exited the bank, "I just need to wait for the second major update, where the currency will stabilize to around 300-400 credits per silver to take out the money again. Until then…"

He glanced at the remaining 65 thousand normal gold and 130 thousand locked gold and displayed a wide grin on his face. "Everything is set. It's time to leave."

Stepping outside of the capsule, Wil went straight to bed to rest for the night as he has a flight to catch up in the morning.

The next day, Wil and Aster boarded the flight to Hailey city. Aster was pained in the heart to leave a hundred thousand credits A-grade Capsule to leave like that. So, before they left, he sent it back to the store, hoping for a refund even if he gets only half an amount in return.

Four hours later, the flight landed at the destination and both of them exit the airport and were received by Silver and a few Elites who followed him from Ares city.

Reaching the hotel, Wil asked Silver about the complete details of his mother's family.

Silver, who already prepared it in the meantime, connected the USB to the laptop that was remotely connected to the tv.

Opening the first document, Silver opened his mouth as a few pictures were displayed on television along with their biography.

The first to be displayed is a middle-aged man with a scar across his right eyes.

"Scott Quilton. He is working as a branch manager for Frazier Pharmaceuticals. According to the employees, he is a great boss who never forces them to overwork and always treats them to dinner. He also…"

Wil quickly interrupted, making an annoyed expression, "Skip the useless things. Just tell me about my mother and my sister Mia. Oh, by the way, did you find out whether Rey is really their son?"

"Uhh…" Silver went silent.

"Hmm? " As Wil turned his head towards him, the latter answered with an apologetic tone, "I actually didn't research about his birth. But, it is clear that he isn't Lady Scarlet's biological son. He's probably either adopted or maybe Mr. Quilton's son from his previous marriage."

"Why?" Wil asked him to provide a sufficient explanation.

Silver then opened another document, filled with information about Rey.

"Rey Quilton, an 18-year-old high school senior who was born on September 14th, 2001."

"September 14th?" Wil frowned as soon as he heard the date, "but, I was born on Feb 12th, 2001…"

"Yes, it's exactly because of that I was sure about it." Silver nodded with a smile, thinking that he did a good job, "it's impossible for Lady Scarlet to conceive another child in seven months of time."

"What if he's a premature baby?" Aster interrupted with a question.

Both of them stared at him in silence.
