Chapter 210: 3-star Elementalist: Inheritance Quest begin

Name:War Online Author:Snowstar
One hour ago;

After acquiring the feather of Mayura, Wil stopped by the capital city. Since the lion will attract unnecessary attention, he sent it back to the pet space and wore the mask of tranquility to hide his identity.

A while later, Wil reached the street where it is full of Associations. He went into the Alchemist association, one of the three non-combat associations, the other two being Blacksmith and Chef's associations.

The reason he chose the alchemist association instead of a potion store because he knew three-star pills are only allowed on the sale when ten three-star alchemists emerged within the kingdom, making the NPC potions upgrade to two floors.

Wil entered the building and saw the ground floor is packed with alchemist players who are busy taking the quests that offer fame points, gold, recipes, rare materials, etc…

He ignored it and went to the second floor.

Unlike the ground floor and the first floor, this one is quite empty with only a few people as it was more of a quest registering area.

Players can issue a quest and rewards for the required item. Of course, the risk here is the player who accepted it can cancel the quest at any time. So, no one dares to issue high-level quests.

Wil joined the line at one of the counters.

After their turn is over, his turn came.

"How may I help you?" the employee asked him.

"I need an appointment with the President… Here…" Before they reject him, Wil showed them the prince medallion.

"Your highness…" Her eyes widened in surprise and she quickly stood up.

She greeted him with a deep bow, "Pardon my ignorance… If I know beforehand, I wouldn't have let you stand in the line."

The other employees as well as a couple of players around looked at Wil. They thought he might at least an Earl to make her bow like that.

Wil waved his hand, "I'm here for an important. If possible, please fix an appointment as soon as possible."

She ran off upstairs and returned like a flash before taking Wil to the restricted third floor where only the staff can enter.

Removing his mask, Wil went upstairs and met the association president.

Since he never saw the prince, he examined the medallion and returned it to Wil.

After hearing out Wil, he was taken aback, "just a three-star pill?"

"Yeah." Wil nodded, "if I'm not in a hurry, I wouldn't have asked your help but right now, time is tight. Can you make up some time to craft one for me? It doesn't necessarily have to be a high-grade pill or a specific one. Just any grade would be fine. Please name your price…

The old man hurriedly shook his head, "no, your highness, it's just a three-star pill. If you give me some time, I'll give you an entire batch of high-grade pills. I don't need money for that. Instead, can you do me a favor?"

Wil asked, "What is it?"

"I heard that your Highness went to the hidden realm and acquired a share of medicinal plants. I only need three Cherpa Snow flowers."

*Ding! You received a quest, Cherpa Snow flower.

Description: Master Alchemist Iquam is in dire need to save the snow flowers in his botanical garden. He wishes to concoct a potion that can help save them. He requires three snow flowers of any type.

Rewards: A batch of high grade 3* random medicinal pills (one batch =10)

Accept?

Wil rejoiced as he read the quest description. Maybe, this is what they call, heaven's luck. He quickly handed over the flowers from his inventory.

In return, he was told to meet him after an hour.

Finishing his business with the Alchemist Association, he went to the temple and teleported to East Ocean city with once again wearing the disguise.

Suddenly, he got an idea.

Just like the Elite combat warriors joined the Scarlet guild, in order to make sure that the potential players won't turn betrayers, he thought of recruiting some outstanding non-combat players into the Scarlet guild from Silvershapers.

That way, he can make his guild, a place of the Elites.

He wanted to make the Silvershapers, a training ground for Scarlet, instead of letting it become the strongest non-combat guild on its own.

Since the barriers are gone, there's a high chance that some powerful guild hidden in the background lures his employees with a lucrative offer, and he also made a plan to prevent it.

Poor Mountain Rock doesn't know what's going to happen to him, soon.

Wil quickly sent a message to Mountain Rock about his plan for the guild.

Even though he was troubled by Wil's idea as the guild will be weakened effectively, since the guild belongs to Wil, he was obliged to follow the orders of his boss.

Mountain Rock eventually answered with a heavy heart that he will send a list of potential candidates.

As he has more time to waste, Wil roamed the district and eventually ended up at the Scarlet lab.

But, Wil didn't expect to find someone with a white flame here of all the places. He decided to bring her to the guild before someone snatches her or her Samsara flame.

Back to the Present;

"So, are you up for this task?"

For some reason, Cyrus felt so much pressure from this stranger who seems like he came to meet her for strictly business. At the same time, she wasn't also confident about crafting such a potion even though Wil said she can do it.

"I'll try…" In the end, she gave a vague answer.

"Okay, accept the friend request…"

He sent a friend request to her.

*Ding! You received a friend request.

After hesitating for a while, she clicked on the notification.

"Time Traveler-Level 200

Accept?"

"Ti… Time… Time Traveler…" Her voice shook before rubbing her eyes two to three times to check whether her eyesight is fine…

It was the legendary Time Traveler. One of the strongest players in the game who destroyed the reign of undefeated 'One' in a head-on battle. He's also the boss of their guild leader.

Her eyes lit up as she looked at Wil.

Wil didn't know that he was admired by several gamers like her.

She asked, "Are you really him?"

Wil didn't reply to her question and took out a paper from his inventory.

Handing it to her, he said, "Here is the recipe for 3* Bloodstream pill, which increases one's speed temporarily. Once you successfully craft the medicinal pill, it will be registered in your character."

Wil then transferred the main material light fruit, around 20 of them, which he acquired from the hidden realm, he transferred another 30 gold coins as an advance payment, along with other ingredients that are easily available in any potion store.

He said goodbye to her and returned to the capital city to take his reward from the Alchemist before setting out to the tomb of Seraph.

Three hours later;

Wil and Leon reached Volcano Island, where his predecessor is resting.

He entered the cave along with Leon. Perhaps he wants to brag to Seraph. Who knows…

***

Wil knelt on the ground and started to recite the incantation.

"Lord Archangel Seraph, please accept the tribute of your successor."

He took out the Feather of Mayura, which he plucked from the legendary grade peacock, and placed it at the foot of the tomb.

"I tribute the feather of Mayura, which is a symbol of spirit."

He then placed a shiny sword that illuminates the surroundings.

"I tribute the Epic grade sword, which is a symbol of strength."

Then he finally placed the medicinal pill he acquired from the master alchemist.

"I tribute the three-star Energy pill, which is a symbol of life."

"Elementalist Time Traveler is hereby invoking the spirit of Archangel Seraph to help his successor to awaken for the second time."

He kowtowed three times and stood up. Wil then waited until the three items were absorbed into the tomb.

An old man with four pairs of wings appeared before him.

"Greetings, Lord Seraph." Wil cupped his fists and greeted him with a bow.

"Arise, my successor." He had a smile on his face. "You have grown strong, Time Traveler. I never expected not only you were able to bond with a guardian beast but you also awakened the dragon bloodline within you. Still, you have a lot to learn…"

Wil was taken aback by his expression. Unlike last time, he looks livelier this time. Wil had a strange feeling but wasn't able to put his finger on it.

"Are you ready for your trial?" Seraph asked Wil.

Wil answered, "Yes."

The surroundings changed to that of a familiar island. There's a temple at the top of the stairs.

"This is…" Wil clearly remembered this place. This very place changed his race after all. "My opponent will be the Dragon princess?"

He then realized that unlike last time, his wings are intact. His legendary grade equipment is with him and he can access his inventory too. Even Leon was standing beside him.

Just when he wondered whether the old man is making things easy for him, he received a quest alert. His face turned dark as he read the message.

*Ding! You received a quest.

Description: Archangel Seraph realized that you are depending too much on the power of your skills. He wants you to defeat your enemies without the use of your skills.

Reward: A unique skill or skill evolution per wave.

Bonus reward for clearing all the waves: Unknown

Conditions: Quest will end when either the user dies or clears the five waves.

Accept?

He immediately accepted.

As soon as he did that, he found his skills are grey in color.
