Chapter 232: Tower of Destiny

Name:War Online Author:Snowstar
Imperial palace, Athledon kingdom;

"You know the method, disciple," Owler spoke in a warm tone.

He was pleased that Wil came back to him for help.

A while ago, he saw the kingdom's future. Wil was the center of it, once again.

That means he would once again help the Athledon become a mighty kingdom.

So, Owler decided to help him in any way he can.

"Place your palm on the crystal and imagine the thing he would like to find."

In response, Wil didn't place it and instead, asked him, "Master. I don't know how the Shards of Scared Ocean look like. I only need them."

"Oh! So, you are in a quest to look for the materials?" Owler's eyes lit up.

He was happy that his disciple is intending on becoming his successor.

Unlike the Archangel Raziel, who can see a few days worth of in-game moments of past with his divine eye, this man was a normal Ascended.

He doesn't have the power to see what Wil had done in the past.

Right now, he was in a belief that Wil was searching for the materials for all along or else how can one explain regarding his words that explain that he found the remaining materials…

"Place your palm on mine. I'll share my vision. You would be able to understand what they are." Owler said to him.

Wil saw a small island that he once went to buy Mithril ores before the update.

Its position was fixed on the ocean just like any other island.

Wil's vision then changed to a large sturdy pillar that was supporting it actually towards the bottom of the ocean.

It is atleast 1000 meters wide and 6000 meters long.

No matter how one sees it, this one looks like a huge rock.

The only strange thing is that on the ocean bed, there's a tiny portal, glowing in the darkness.

'The Tower of Destiny!' Wil's eyes lit up in excitement to find the Tower of Destiny so soon.

According to his memory, the tower that was placed in the Sun City looked like a giant pole that was connecting the heavens.

Bran opened to everyone to level up for some time.

But for some reason, he took it down later. Maybe, Aria made a deal with him.

"Thank you, Master." Wil bowed to him. "I found what I'm looking for."

Based on the timeline that he knew, Wil remembered this was around the time Bran will venture to this area to find the Tower.

Coincidentally, he revives the kingdom.

He didn't want to waste the time and immediately left the palace.

After all, the tower is a portable dungeon and only one can claim it.

Once he claimed it, then, his leveling to 500 will be smooth without the need to look for legendary grade monsters everywhere.

Unlike Bran, Wil has no intention of sharing with strangers.

After he cleared all the hundred floors and obtain all the rewards, he will share the tower with his guild.

Triena Island, North Grennola Ocean;

"This is the location of the Tower. But where is the portal?" Bran wondered as he looked around.

Earlier he swam underwater but found nothing.

There are oceanic creatures that tried to attack but got killed instead.

Since the Tower was too wide, Bran wasn't able to discern anything strange about it.

Unless one sees it from far away, it's quite difficult to spot its existence.

It made him wonder whether this is the right location. "An existence that acts as the bridge to the netherworld. Placing four of these can make it seem like either the world is a house with a blue roof filled with clouds. Once, the weapon of the monkey born from a stone that defied the heavens, now, all that's left is a rock waiting for its master."

Bran pondered the riddle. He tried to break into three parts and tried to find the meaning but didn't find his answer yet.

According to him, since Sierra wasn't smart enough to decode it and he doesn't trust others yet, Bran kept the riddle to himself and tried to solve it on his own.

The Tower of his destiny could change also destiny forever.

It was what the Ascended said to him.

That's the reason he decided not to take chances.

"Four of them? Shouldn't there be only one?" Bran wondered whether there are multiple towers.

The first sentence made him think that there must be a portal but the second confused him.

He tried to decode the third sentence.

"A monkey born from the stone?" Bran thought about it. No matter how much he thought, nothing came to his mind.

Suddenly, Bran got an idea.

"That's right. Instead of wasting my time here, I can just ask Bethy who doesn't play the game."

A girl's image appeared in his mind.

He directly logged out immediately to contact her.

Meanwhile, a Warship was speeding up at the bottom of the ocean.

After a while, it reached the pillar and stopped.

In the control room of the ship, Wil was searching for the portal.

He didn't find it at the first attempt.

Controlling the Ship's wheel, Wil turned the ship around and it started to circle the Pillar.

As the ship was circling the tower, at last Wil saw the entrance portal. He wondered whether he should use Bubble skill and teleport to the outside of the ship.

After all, the portal was tiny compared to the ship but then, he tried his luck trying to enter the portal with the ship.

Luckily, as soon as the Warship's touched the portal, Wil suddenly received a notification.

*Ding! You are about to enter the Tower of Destiny.

He pressed accept and a large suction force erupted from the portal.

It absorbed the Warship along with Wil.

*Thud*

The Ship shook as it collided with the ground.

*Ding! You found the Tower of Destiny. You receive 5000 fame points as rewards.

Wil saw the huge barren land through the monitor.

After confirming that there are no waters through all the monitors, Wil got out of the ship and returned it to the inventory.

Similar to the Tower of Mariuk, Wil saw stairs half a kilometer away that lead to a large door in the sky, presumably to the first floor.

The only change was that there's no ceiling above him.

As if he entered a new realm, Wil saw there's light everywhere and the sky is as clear as day but without any presence of the sun.

Wil didn't have the time to think of such useless things.

He didn't know how to conquer this tower. All he heard of a rumor is that he has to pass a certain floor.

Wil thought of a quick way to do that.

"I summon, Leon"

*Roar* an exciting roar was resounded over the place.

Once again, the winged lion was happy to be summoned to hunt with his master.

It loved how its master was depending on it.

At first, Wil thought of summoning Felix to complete everything but after remembering that he further have to share his EXP, he put the thought away.

"I'll let it run into the wild after returning to Llyne."

Wil stroked Leon's mane before mounting on its back. "Let's go, buddy."

Leon climbed the stairs and reached the top before entering the door.

*Ding! You reach the first floor. The wave will start in 60 seconds. Please make your preparations.
