Chapter 259: Llyne submits to Zuweth?

*Welcome to War Online*

*Ding! The Queen summoned you to the Imperial Palace.

As it's an order, Wil teleported to the capital city.

Stepping out of the temple, he started to walk towards the Imperial palace amid everyone's gazes.

Whether it is a player or an NPC, right now, everyone is giving him the way. Wil saw a trace of fear in their eyes even though he doesn't have a red/purple name anyway.

However, Wil wasn't surprised about their treatment.

He knew that NPCs are obligated to give him respect because of his position as  Prince.

As for the players, just a while ago, after reading the update details, he went to the world forums and there is a fair share of people who are having a discussion regarding Wil's level.

They are forming a number of theories about how he is 48 levels more than Bran who is on number two with level-252.

As the War is going to begin in a few hours, everyone wondered how strong Wil really is.

While the haters argued that players are useless in front of NPCs, the supporters countered by throwing a challenge to stop Wil on the battlefield. Of course, the main topic is still dominated by the War.

Wil didn't care about those stupid military tactics shared by ex-militia or Special Forces as he believed in absolute strength. You would only need tactics when there's a sizable difference in strength.

With 144 Billion HP, and almost 6 billion attack power, probably only the Kings or Queens with level-500 strength are a match for him. At least, that's what Wil believed for now.

Back to the present, he entered the Imperial palace that was fully constructed.

As it still only 2:30 P.M., the assembly at the courtroom hasn't been dismissed yet, so, the assembly is still going on.

Not intending to crash the assembly, Wil asked the soldier to lead him to the guest room.

Two hours later;

*Knock* *Knock*

"Yes, come in."

Wil saw a Royal knight and his supposed in-game distant cousin, the new Prime minister, Arry outside the door.

"Hello, cousin. It's been a while." Arry greeted him with a smile. "It seems you have grown quite stronger and…"

Wil frowned as he cut off his words, "Spare me the nonsense. What am I here for, Arry?" He spoke as if he was annoyed to see his face.

Being confident in his strength, he no longer faked his feelings any longer.

Arry was taken aback by Wil's tone and became a little bit angry but then, remembering the task given by the Queen, he calmed himself down and spoke, "the Queen is waiting for you, please come with me."

Wil nodded and followed him.

Arry didn't speak on the way as he understood Wil's stance on them. He sighed, 'this meeting not going to end well for her majesty.'

Wil realized the way is an unfamiliar path to him. The last time he was here, he was in a hurry to find Aerona's location in the library. So, he didn't care about it.

They reached a newly built staircase that was leading to the underground. 'It looks like they made a lot of changes during renovations.'

As soon as he climbed down the first step, Wil received a notification from the system.

*Ding! You stepped inside a safe zone.

"Not a no-combat zone?" Wil suspected whether they will attack him or something. But then, he realized that he was an immortal to them. So, there would be no use in killing him.

Closing the notification, Wil continued to climb down.

In the dim-lit underground chamber, he saw there are eight people. Unlike last time, there are no ministers in robes but everyone is in their fully equipped Armor and seven of them are level-400.

They have a large table before them with several large sheets of paper, miniature figures of weapons, soldiers, etc… are spread on it.

He glanced at the middle figure who was sitting on the throne. Wil was surprised for a second as he looked at her stats.

Rikilda Llyne

Level: 500

HP: 1,000,000,000,000

Description: Queen of the Llyne kingdom.

'To defeat her, I might have to depend on Heavenly Push,' thought Wil as he greeted her with a plain tone. "Greetings, Your Majesty."

The Generals frowned at his tone but stayed silent as Rikilda responded, "I heard that you arrived two hours ago. You should have come to the courtroom. You never once attended the assembly after I become the Queen."

"I figured you wouldn't happy with my presence, Your Majesty." Wil replied to her comment, "And also, I'm busy with other matters. So, what is the reason that I have been summoned, Your Majesty?"

Wil already guessed that it was because of the war but still he asked her, going with the flow.

"I'll cut to the chase. Earlier in the afternoon, I received a letter from the Zuweth to hand over the kingdom as part of our deal. That will include the Eldershore region." Rikilda said to him.

"Are you intending to go back on our agreement?" Wil's face turned cold, although he was also delighted inside.

"You… Mind your tone…" A general stepped forward while he was about to raise his sword. Rikilda reprimanded him, "Stand down general. You don't have any right to butt into the conversation between the members of the Royal Family unless I permitted you to do so. Now, apologize."

He bowed and apologized to Wil.

She then said, "I don't intend to back down on our agreement either. If I was a person who reneges on her promises, I would have torn the letter from Zuweth's king.

I will convince the King to make sure you will get to rule the Eldershore region and let it stay Autonomous.

Meanwhile, I want you and your men to stand down and stay silent."

Wil was indeed surprised that his plan was exposed to the Queen, although the reasons are different.

He intends to attack the kingdom to get the throne not because his region was taken from him or something.

Meanwhile, Arry was also surprised for a different reason. He thought she was asking for his support in the war but didn't expect her to tell him to stand down.

However, Wil shook his head, "You have every right to do whatever you want with the kingdom. Do whatever you want with Eldershore but I apologize that I cannot trust you and wait.

Take a loan from Zuweth or seize from nobles or whatever you have to do, return my five hundred thousand gold coins, right now or else, you will force my hand."

Rikilda's face turned dark. She wasn't even asking him to lend his support but this brat isn't even intending on thinking her proposal.

*Ding! Favorability with Rikilda Llyne was dropped by 30 points. Your Hostility with Rikilda Llyne reached 70 points

Wil threatened her directly, not willing to show even a tiny bit of respect. He cares neither about his 500 thousand gold coins nor the fact that Zuweth is acquiring Llyne without any war.

Right now, Wil just needs a reason to rebel and she gave him one at the perfect moment.

Selling the kingdom to another nation and suppressing the Prince and seizing his assets, these reasons are enough for him to lay a siege on the city during the War.
