Chapter 263: War room discussion part-1

Imperial Palace, Searvale Kingdom;

In the planning chamber/ War room, similar to the Llyne, there are miniature figures and large blueprints are spread. Generals, Rini, the Queen, High Priestess, and Wil gathered around the table. Aerona was nowhere to be seen.

The Supreme Commander of the army, General Arceana Glynjor started to speak. "First, let's review regarding the strength of each kingdom.

Reverie: It was ruled by the king Decimus Augustus Reverie. He's just like our Queen, a level-500 warrior.

We aren't sure of his skills as there wasn't any precedent that he fought personally but as far as we know from our history records, the Royal family members of Reverie kingdom are skilled users of flight despite being humans.

So, even if we forget about the king, we also have to worry about the three princes and the princess as they will attack from the sky for sure."

"Pyre can take care of that," Rini commented, disrupting him. "And there were also otherworlders like me who have flying beasts as their companion. Each one can carry two of them. You can ask for their assistance and ride on them."

"No…" The Queen hollered, making everyone flinch in surprise. "Princess Siren, I already told you that our tribe will not enslave beasts. Every spirit in the world deserves to have freedom."

"Just because you are restricting their freedom doesn't mean you are enslaving them," Rini coldly answer her. "Might be easy for you to say since you are the one controlling our guardian beast but if you are going to be controlled like a pet, perhaps, you would understand their feeling." The Queen argued back, implying that her statement is right.

"Well, aren't you doing the same… As a Queen, aren't you ordering your subjects and putting restrictions on them while creating rules? Does that mean, you are enslaving everyone?" Rini counterattacked, almost in an instant.

Meanwhile, the Generals were silent and were not a bit surprised at their argument.

As for Wil, who was also silently watching from the sidelines, wondered whether this is a normal relationship between them. What's more surprised him is his future sister-in-law's blank expression.

"Uhh… I can provide a viable solution regarding the issue." Wil suddenly chipped in, interrupting their argument.

The both of them suddenly stop and turned towards him. The other generals also turned towards him.

"My nimbus cloud can carry one more person." With a thought in his mind, Wil then summons a two-meter big cloud, surprising everybody. "It might not be much helpful to everyone but Her Majesty can ride on it to face the enemy's king."

"No…" The Supreme Commander replied firmly. "I cannot let a stranger go near Her Majesty. She'll be under my protection in the war."

Upon hearing his words, the Queen blushed for a few seconds before calming down herself. The High Priestess saw it but she stayed silent as she was busy staring at the cloud.

Perhaps, he realized his mistake. He quickly gave an explanation, "I apologize to Lady Marten as well as Princess but the otherworlders can't be trusted. Even if you people die, with the blessings of Gaia, you will resurrect but that's not the case for us."

While Rini frowned at his response, Wil blinked for a while in silence before opening his mouth, "isn't her Majesty, the strongest person in this kingdom if we exclude the High Priestess and Lady Marten? She's stronger than any of you. Why does she need your protection? Wouldn't be the other way around if a level-500 warrior like a King will actively go looking for you?"

As he had a responsibility to make Searvale the winner, Wil decided to actively participate in the discussion.

The Supreme Commander became embarrassed as he heard Wil. But, he can't back down because of this outsider. He argued, "Either way… you otherworlders who enslave the beasts aren't to be trusted."

He used the Queen's earlier argument to shut Wil's mouth. If Wil were to argue, then, it would be the same as arguing against the Queen.

If Rini argues, it will be treated as a sibling quarrel but if Wil argues with the Queen, it is the same as defying Queen's authority. He will be punished for that.

Wil also understood that.

So, he shrugs his shoulders and dismisses the cloud.

He merely wanted to offer his help. If he would have said he was weak, Wil would have shown his strength but the problem lies with the trust. So, he had no choice but to back down.

As the Supreme Commander smirked with this small victory and continued, "Okay, let me finish my briefing. Then, we'll thoroughly discuss how to deal with them.

According to the information gathered by our scouts, the Reverie kingdom has an army of nearly 85000 in total with over 26 generals who have level-400 strength.

We don't have other information regarding the numbers of the below-level warriors yet but I expect there will be atleast 200. No, you can expect even a higher number of Royal knights above level-300."

Everyone became serious.

"While Uflenor's strength is also quietly similar to Reverie…"

"No" "No"

This time, Rini and Wil interrupted together at the same time. Both of them were taken aback and looked at each other.

The Supreme Commander's face became rigid. 'These damn otherworlders… they kept on interrupting…'

Since he can't do anything about the Princess, he turned to Wil and asked him, "What is it?" He sounded irritated at the moment.

Wil replied, "Reverie kingdom's strength is a lot higher than you imagine. They have this Blacksmith who can produce Gold grade equipment for the soldiers. He's an otherworlders like us.

While it isn't much for higher-level warriors like you but if the foot soldiers were to equip them, their defense and attack power will be a lot higher than others."

"Eh?" Like everyone else, Rini was also surprised, although for a different reason.

She originally wanted to mention Crimson Sun but she didn't expect Wil to bring up another person that even Galaxy net knows nothing about.
