Chapter 265: War room discussion part-3

Name:War Online Author:Snowstar
Imperial place, Reverie Kingdom;

Unlike the Searvale where only Generals participate, here, there are players too.

Representing the combat player division, there is Bran, Sierra, and a few others who are in the top 10 kingdom rankings (not to be confused with the world rankings).

Representing the non-combat player division, there are six people, two are 3-star blacksmith, two of them are 3-star Alchemist, and the last two of them are 3-star chefs.

Along with the handsome-looking King, his three wives and four children also participated in the discussion. So, it's a big forty-member conference.

When the members are this high, one would expect a heavy debate among everyone but that wasn't the case, at all. Neither the Supreme Commander nor the Princes displayed any arrogance while talking to the players.

They were instead polite with each other even while debating.

While the Supreme Commander briefed about the enemy's and their situation, no one even interrupted him. One can say this was an ideal situation in a war room.

"Marquis Crimson Sun, let's hear your opinion." The Crown Princess asked him before the king opened his mouth.

Everyone turned to Bran.

Ignoring the Princess who has hots for him, Bran voiced out his opinion, "Even with the support of Uflenor, there are four issues even if we attack Searvale along with the Uflenor army.

One is that their majority of the land is covered in forests. Elves' strength not only increases by 30% but since it is their homeland, they also have the geographical advantage.

The second is the Galaxy Net. This guild's information network is something that no one can compare to. So, you can expect that our strength is already being exposed to them.

The third is Princess Siren. She not only commands their guardian beast Phoenix and is also a powerful warrior able to fight evenly or perhaps even defeat one of the generals. Thankfully, her level isn't high and once we put two of our generals on her, her defeat will be imminent.

The final problem is their defense. Their citizens are greatly united and won't hesitate to sacrifice themselves to stop the invaders."

"Hmm… before going to any other problem, first, propose me a solution to the one that Marquis Crimson Sun has pointed out." The King said to everyone after hearing Bran's opinion.

"Your Majesty, instead of attacking from the border from our side, what if we attack from Uflenor's side?" The Second Prince proposed his idea. "Their cities are near the border. As long as Uflenor cooperates, with combined strength, we were able to break through."

"The problem here is trust, brother…" The Crown Princess replied to him. "Do you think Uflenor will trust us to let a massive army into their kingdom? And do you trust Uflenor and send a small army into their kingdom?"

"Hmm… That's true…" The Second Prince nodded and sat down.

The Supreme Commander then spoke as he pointed the map, "We have a long border but they have less military strength. So, I'm sure they will put otherworlders along with a few Elite teams to lead them in the border.

Meanwhile, their original force might defend at the other border that shared with Uflenor to guard the kingdom."

"But, since they have people guarding their kingdom, do they have any reason to stay there?" The Queen pointed out the problem, accurately guessing their plan. "If I were in their place, I would make a surprise attack on Uflenor instead."

If this was any other kingdom, they would be received an instant No. After all, who would be crazy enough to leave the protection of their kingdom in the hands of civilians…

While the same thought was running through these players' minds, the NPCs thought differently.

"Hmm… I think it would be better if I go to the frontlines of the battlefield. Then, she would have no choice but to face me directly…"

The King suddenly made a surprising comment. Everyone instantly looked at him. They didn't expect their King to take that kind of decision.

He further said, "to prevent Uflenor betray us and attack our capital, The Princes and the Generals will stay behind while the Crown Princess… Excuse me…"

He then stood up from the throne and walked towards the table and pointed to the map. "Let's divide this border into three divisions. Crimson Sun and his allies will attack from the left.

Free otherworlders will follow me through the middle and the Crown Princess will lead the Royal Knights to break through from the right.

Marquis Crimson Sun…"

"Yes…"

"Are you ready to take the lead?"

"Yes, Your Majesty," Bran answered firmly while Sierra was silent and just had a fake smile on her face. However, inside, she was still unhappy with Bran for lying to her about the Tower of Destiny.

If not for the Secret Order giving her a second chance to redeem herself, she might have even broken up with him by now. She didn't care whether she was the culprit here. What she cares more about entering the Secret Order…

"As Elves don't have flight abilities, I will employ Angel race warriors and the ones with a flying beast mount first to scout the enemy. After we confirm about enemy's movements, we'll break through the border." Bran explained his strategy, earning a nod from everyone, meaning no one is against it.

"Earl Marcus, how's the weapons production going?" The King then asked the three-star blacksmith who found the inheritance of a Grandmaster Blacksmith.

He is the one Wil warned everyone about.

Marcus replied, "Your Majesty, so far… we crafted 195 Epic-grade equipment; 1425 Gold-grade weapons, consisting of Swords, Spears, and daggers. As for Silver-grade Armors, we crafted 3231 Armors, 2453 Bracers, 3212 Boots, and 124 Helms."

All the players including Bran looked at him in shock. They wondered where this genius blacksmith popped up from…

Meanwhile, Bran and Sierra felt betrayed that one of their core team members hid such a thing from them.

Bran didn't know that Marcus can craft such high-level equipment. If he had known, he wouldn't have bought so many pieces of equipment in the auction.

Wil once again made a wrong calculation regarding this blacksmith. He thought it was a waste to poach this childhood friend of Bran but didn't know of his sly and greedy nature.
