6:10 A.M.;
Ai Themor, Evelon;
13 minutes before 'One' won the war against Eiron; 90 minutes before Wil killed Reverie's King; roughly 2 hours before Supreme Conqueror bombed the two towns and dealt heavy damage to his enemy kingdom; there's an amazing battle going on in the campsite of Ai Themor.
This battle is neither between two king nor it is between two massive armies.
On one side, there was an Elven king, an Elven prince, and 14 generals with their entire army either down or hiding in the safe zone.
And on another side, there were a hundred clones of Wil of which five of them are on the ground with vines on them, restricting their ability to move.
Along with the second prince, all the Generals scattered all over the battlefield to make sure the clones don't stick together. The King was also standing far away from the rest with the imperial bow in his hands.
While a couple of clones were guarding the safe zone, of the remaining ninety-three, 60 clones picked these fifteen level-400s as their next target.
The rest of them decided to take care of the king who is the biggest threat.
*Swoosh*
"-261,205,613"
A normal energy arrow escaped from the King's bow and pierced the chest of clone no. 6. However, it wasn't that big deal if one considers the clone's HP. It acted as if nothing happened.
Pulling the string, the king started to rapid-fire the energy arrows, each time taking nearly 260 million of a clone's HP.
Meanwhile, four clones surrounded each general.
Previously, they outnumbered the clones and were failed… Now, they were outnumbered by the clones.
However, the clones didn't claim an easy victory either.
If Wil would have known some martial art techniques that involve the staff, surely, the clones would have outperformed them in fighting but alas, they can't help but only fight like a ruffian, just swinging them wildly.
And miraculously, they succeeded.
Due to the massive size of the pillar and their sheer numbers, while the generals were able to dodge one of the attacks, unintended wild swinging from the other clones hit them more than a couple of times.
It is also practically hard to dodge when there are four clones around you, each one swinging a 50-meter big pillar randomly around at a quick speed.
So, one should say, they lucked out.
The players who are watching from the safe zone were only able to see blur images of pillars from far away.
Nearly ten minutes later, as the king shot another wooden arrow, capturing the eighth clone, he suddenly heard a scream from his left.
Before now, the king completely focused on the enemies before him as they were too many in number. Losing focus will be fatal to him. So, he wasn't able to see what's going around him.
The familiar voice of his son forced him to concentrate on his surroundings.
As feared. losing his focus for a second, a pillar smashed his face and flung him away.
"2,253,523,976"
He flew away a dozen meters and crashed onto the ground.
As the King slowly stood up on his feet, his head moved left and right and his eyes were looking everywhere on the battlefield.
Only seven of his Generals were alive and there was no sign of his second son. He rechecked once again and the result is still the same.
He felt his chest tightened for a couple of seconds and tears welled up in his eyes.
"I'll kill you…" The King was enraged and his heart screamed for revenge.
He roared in anger and pulled the string as hard as he can, conjuring a black-colored arrow.
"Secret skill: Arrow of Extinction."
He shot it towards the horde of clones that were coming towards him.
A gigantic explosion occurred, making a half a kilometer radius huge crater. The tents were destroyed. The clones were blown hundreds of meters away with ten-digit numbers on their heads.
Thankfully, the barrier stayed intact. So, the people who are inside were safe while the people who are shooting the battle from above were caught up in an explosion and ended up dead.
Only the ones that are flying above the 500-meter range stayed alive.
Even the players who are hundreds of miles away were able to see the explosion that was dozen times bigger than the earlier nuclear explosion.
Within a minute, the dust cleared.
"What?" The King's eyes widened to see every clone that wasn't captured by the vines, slowly stood up on their feet like zombies.
The name of the arrow means it's damage is so high that it can destroy any species but he never expected that not only they weren't killed but it also didn't do much damage.
"Only 5% of their life force has been depleted…" He gritted his teeth in anger, "these damn pests…"
Facing the failure only enraged him further. But, what can he do... Even his strongest weapon became useless. The angry king left with no other choice other to depend on last resort.
"Arise, protectors of Evelon."
He then summoned the four protectors of the Elf kingdom and just like how the Searvale's Queen merged those level-400s into a Neo-hybrid beast of level-500, this Elven king of Evelon did the same.
What strange is that it looks identical to that of Searvale's protector...
With a golem body, snakehead, spiky back, and blue wings, the beast reciprocates his rage with a mighty roar and goes on a wild massacre.
Under the assault of the King and the Neo-hybrid beast, none of the clones were able to stay alive for they don't know how to retreat without finishing their job.
Searvale kingdom;
Sitting on top of the nimbus cloud, Wil and Rini were watching the battle going between the Searvale's Neo-hybrid beast and Reverie king.
"Hmm…" Wil sensed the destruction of his clones one by one. He wasn't disappointed. On the contrary, he looks pretty much satisfied with the outcome.
Not only he managed to steal the majority of the War points, but he also able to enrage the King as well as increasing the beast's attack by 100% by forcing it to go into a berserk state.
Wil didn't know which clone did it, but he really wanted to appreciate the clone that damaged the beast's eye.
'Great… now I hope at least one of them will end up dead. It would be best if Rikilda will be the one. Once she's dead, only that former Prime Minister will be left.
Once he's gone too, I'll be the sole member of the Royal family of Llyne. All the soldiers and Raziel will have no choice but to stay loyal to me.'
Not wasting any time, he quickly sent a message to Aster.
Ai Themor, Evelon kingdom;
On the outskirts of the region, the players of both sides are in an intense battle. Earlier, when the clones of Wil passed through them, they only killed the ones that attacked them directly.
However, most of them were stationed on top of the cliffs to ambush the enemies. While their ambushes were failed on the clones, they were able to stop the alliance forces.
Right now, Aster and the rest of the Vulture guild and Scarlet A and B divisions are also tightly locked in battle.
The enormous explosion and the following appearances of legendary-grade level-400 beasts made everyone hesitate to move forward. Rather than going forward and risk their lives, they felt it is better to stay here and fight weak players.
After all, killing a player is also netting them war points.
Soon afterward, Aster received a private message from Wil. He opened it and read it.
Time Traveler: All of you will return to Deloris right now. Those who stay will die.
Looking at the giant beast from far away, Aster wondered whether Wil failed to kill the king. He immediately relayed the message to others and they withdrew from the battlefield.
Their actions brought mixed feelings among the large guilds. While the ones that are displeased with Vulture were celebrating with an assumption that Time Traveler might have been dead, on the other hand, the supportive guilds like Starlight felt it's unfortunate.
But soon, they realized how strong the other party is, and after his battle video became viral in forums, they can't help but blame Wil for enraging him, instead of blaming themselves for being weak.
