*Welcome to War Online*
Along with millions of other players, Wil also logged into the game as soon as the maintenance is over.
He found himself, standing on the ground nearby the capital city of Evelon.
Wil then changed his race to that of an Elf and equipped the mask of tranquility before entering the city.
Even though they are allies and none were able to do anything to him, Wil wanted to avoid the attraction from the other players.
He quietly entered the temple and returned to Deloris town, then, teleported to Scarlet town.
Returning to the vulture city, Wil summoned General Remont to the fort.
"Your Majesty." He half kneeled and takes a bow as a greeting, in the middle of the courtroom.
"Arise."
"Report me the progress of training," Wil asked him to give him the numbers of those who were able to reach level-200, excluding the soldiers from Llyne.
"Your Majesty, right now, we can mobilize 5815 soldiers who are between level 200-300 and 14 soldiers of above level-300, including myself.
However, the only issue is the lack of equipment. Vice-general Skylar mentioned the war that's going on in your homeland. Without proper equipment, our troops won't be ready for the war, yet."
Along with reporting the details, he voiced out his opinion too. After all, their king was spending thousands of gold coins on defense. They too are working day and night to train the soldiers.
He doesn't want them to be killed because of such a thing.
Thankfully, Wil already thought of that problem.
He immediately opened the inventory and started to throw out every piece of equipment above gold grade that he stored until now.
Very soon, several heaps of equipment… weapons, armors, bracers, boots, shields, or helmets, ranging from level-100 to level-400 are spread in the courtroom.
Meanwhile, General Remont's eyes widened in shock, looking at these many high-grade equipments.
After almost clearing his inventory space, Wil said, "there are around 4000 of them in total. Distribute it among the soldiers as you wish. As for the remaining, they can be adjusted once we return to Llyne."
He ordered Silver to take care of it, long ago.
For several days, Blacksmiths of Silvershapers guild and the Vulture guild were busy with mass-producing Gold-grade equipment for his soldiers.
As for the finances, his Scarlet District's head manager, Melina was taking care of it.
Considering it is a long-term project, the pace is indeed extremely slow. However, they still have an abundant number of Bronze-grade and silver-grade equipment.
After half an hour, Wil found nearly 7800 soldiers who are above level-200 started to march to the Scarlet town under General Remont's lead…
In the meantime, Wil flew to the town and entered the temple to return to Llyne.
Stepping outside of the teleportation formation, Wil sent a message in the guild channel.
Time Traveler: Everyone who reached level-200, come to the training grounds.
He then sent a private message to Aster to call the ones who are offline and tell them to be present at the location.
Wil didn't stop there. He also sent a private message to RockFist and SnowDew to relay his orders to their guild.
Along with them, Starlight and Supreme Master also received a message, stating to stay away from Zuweth kingdom.
Both of them immediately realized that Wil is going to attack them.
The system announcement of Wil's involvement in the death of Evelon's king has been already spread in the world forums like wildfire.
While Supreme Master isn't confident about Wil's chances of winning as there wasn't one but 2 level-500s out there, Starlight, on the other hand, asked Wil whether they can join him.
As a player representative, for the past three days, he actively participated in the discussions.
One day ago, during their usual strategic discussion, he saw Rikilda suddenly bringing up Wil in their topic.
From their conversation, he realized that they suspect Wil has the Imperial sword which he might use to rebel at any time.
The previous night, Starlight re-watched the video of Time Traveler's Hundred Clones vs Evelon in the forums.
He then, realized there was no real Wil and all of them are clones, judging by their reckless actions and stiff expressions.
Starlight felt weird that the real person never appeared even after the destruction of clones. It was the most obvious move, right? Then, why didn't he make a move?
Did he give up or is his aim something else?
In no time, he connected the dots and concluded that Wil probably wants to reduce their strength first, so that he can rebel once the war is over.
It was for this very reason, he proposed to the king for extra manpower.
Once he takes away a part of their strength, it would become easy for Wil to cause a rebellion with his army.
But, who could have expected Wil took an action so soon…
Since he wasn't able to help him out, he wants to take a gamble and ride with him on this operation.
If Wil becomes successful, he would reap benefits.
Since there's also a chance of failure, Starlight decided not to participate personally and only let his guild members participate.
In case his rebellion will be unsuccessful, he can just apologize to the King and say a few words like he will punish his men for the betrayal…
At worst, he will lose his job at Star Corporation. If that happens, he can just join Vulture.
So, he told him how he and his guild members will be able to help him out.
After agreeing with Starlight's request, Wil proceeds towards the Barracks.
Removing his mask, he entered the barracks and summoned his loyal General.
"Your Majesty." General Gerrad greeted him with a bow. "I'm waiting for your orders."
Wil then said, "Gather everyone who is atleast level-200, right now. I'll be waiting at the training grounds."
The General nodded and turned around to walk away towards a soldier.
He passed the orders to him.
Thirty minutes later, at the training grounds, soldiers arrived and took their places.
Of them, four hundred soldiers are above level-300 and behind them stood another five thousand that are between level-200 and level-300.
Unlike the soldiers from Ormshire who were recruited manually, these were recruited by the system from the start. So, none of them have any issue with the lack of proper armor.
In fact, every one of them had worn gold-grade equipment from top to bottom.
Level-300s above has some epic-grade equipment. As for the level-400 general, he has a legendary-grade sword and shield. The rest are of epic-grade.
All of them stood uniformly, waiting for his orders.
Two hours later, they were joined by another 7800 soldiers from Ormshire. In the meantime, the players from Vulture and Scarlet-A division also arrived.
The guild members were overwhelmed, looking at such a huge number. Silver and Aster, on the other hand, felt proud of their young master.
Receiving the news from Aster, Wil left the Mansion and went to the training grounds.
They became silent upon his arrival.
Wil spoke, "A while ago, my sister, Mirella Llyne, the true ruler of this kingdom was betrayed by her aunt, Rikilda Llyne by leading the enemies into our territory.
In the process of defending the homeland, she met her death on the battlefield.
Following her death, something was passed onto me…"
Wil then took out an exquisite sword and revealed it to the public for the second time. The first time was when he revealed it to the Archangel.
Imperial Sword of Llyne
Grade: Legendary
Type: Growth
Level: 300 (max 500)
Description: The symbol of the monarch of the Llyne. It can be passed only to a member of the Royal family.
*Thud*
The soldiers of Llyne immediately kneeled on the ground. The soldiers from Ormshire state followed the suit, not knowing the reason.
Everyone looked at him in reverence.
Even though all of them listened to his orders, in reality, except for the ones from Ormshire and the general, all the soldiers were actually loyal to Gerrad.
They were only loyal to Wil because the general is loyal to him.
But now, looking at the Imperial sword that represents the true monarch, their attitude towards Wil suddenly changed.
And Wil started to receive the notifications of their favorability increasing to 100.
He continued, "After betraying her own family, Rikilda Llyne took the throne and then, gave it away.
I was too weak back then. So, I waited to build my army slowly."
His voice turned cold as he continued, "Right now, I'm strong. Strong enough to wipe out Rikilda as well as the Zuweth's king backing her.
Today, I'm going to reclaim the throne and liberate my homeland… Our homeland. I won't ask for your help. However, if you want to take revenge for your late King with your own hands, follow me in this quest."
