As reappointing Jordon as CEO will make Storm a laughing face in front of the media, Wil decided to give him a choice, rather than just ordering him to stay there and work silently.
He doesn't want to oppress his employees, particularly those at higher positions.
Looking into his eyes, Wil proceeds to tell, "One, continue to remain as the President of Scarlet Securities. Two, choose any of our subsidiary companies. I'll appoint you as the CEO for it. My other acquired company, Ravens Tech is also included in this list.
Think about it and make your choice before lunch break. In the meantime, prepare a list of names to consider for the next CEO. At 2 o'clock, I will announce the name in the board meeting after discussing it with other directors."
Jordon felt moved a bit. Even if he was a loyal person to the core, when he was being demoted to the President without any reason, like any other man, Jordon indeed felt disappointed. He just didn't show it outside.
He felt like all of his hard work was paled in front of connections. Still, when Storm made a blunder, he didn't feel happy on the inside. After all, the company was also like his foster baby that he raised for the past twenty years.
Thankfully, his loyalty never went unrewarded.
Sometimes, getting an acknowledgment from a precious person is more worth than finding a treasure.
The same thing happened to Jordon.
Upon receiving an acknowledgment from Wil, Jordon felt like all of his disappointment left away.
At the same time, he felt relieved that Wil was mixing into the corporate world very well. With the founder passed away, he was worried that 19-year-old Wil would either succumb to the pressure or waste his life away by squandering like a rich young master.
His worries increased when Wil exactly did that by creating a gaming company and cutting the staff to half just so that he could gain an army inside a mere game.
However, the last couple of orders from Wil made clear to him that this young master before him was a person with a plan in his mind. Maybe, he wasn't perfect and those plans weren't genius either. Still, in Jordon's view, his young master was indeed better than any other heirs of big corporations out there…
He felt like he accomplished the mission the Mafia Lord gave to him. That is to look after the company until Wil gets ready to take over.
After thinking for a long time, Jordon decided to leave the company. He started to list the names like directors, senior managers, or the CEOs of their subsidiary companies, all those who held high-level positions but also possess high educational backgrounds.
Meanwhile, due to the escalation of the matter of Texel-Scarlet case combined with rumored Scarlet's financial issues by all the media channels like breaking news, one by one, youth from Ares city especially females stepped forward by supporting Scarlet on the internet.
After all, the Scarlet Group is more reputable than even the police department within the city of Ares regarding nighttime security.
Those employees that volunteer to patrol the city like night policemen until 4 a.m., they will receive additional bonus and paid leaves. Since the foundation, it's the company's policy to safeguard people, especially women during such late-night…
So, the Ares city citizens who supported the company didn't want them to face financial issues because of this issue and compromise the free security they are providing to the public. Even the Ares city police department worried that the crime rate will shot up if Scarlet Securities closed down and their workload will increase.
Moreover, the angered customers especially the Colville citizens who lost their deposits now hit the roads once again but this time, their target of protest is the Texel Electronics' CEO whose extreme measures destroyed their lives.
Everyone is just demanding his arrest and asking for the company to take responsibility by investing in the bank before it gets delisted from the stock exchange.
Of course, Texel never intended to do that.
After having an emergency board meeting, Tang He, the Chairman of Texel Group announced that the board is firing the company's CEO while the police filed an FIR on his name, although they weren't able to arrest him as he was quick enough to get anticipatory bail from the court.
As the shares plummeted, the headquarters became busier. Wil knew that it's impossible that a giant corporation like Texel will fall because of this mere issue. However, it goes without saying that they will be in a tight situation for the next few days.
At such a moment, the Chairman's secretary got a call from Storm to arrange a meeting between Wil and Tang He.
While Tang He readily agreed to it, thinking that Wil might be the one behind the sudden turn of events, the latter said he will only be available two days later. After all, he needs to meet his future in-laws and have a talk with them regarding the situation.

In the afternoon board meeting session, Jordon presented a list of names for the positions of new President and CEO as he will be resigning from his position to take over the position of CEO of Ravens Tech, instead.
As the projector showed their files one by one, the directors stated their opinions.
Soon, the list was narrowed down to three people.
After listening to everything, Wil looked at the three of them. One of them is the current CEO of Scarlet Life Insurance while two of them were the employees of Scarlet Logistics, one being the CEO and the other being a Chief inventory control executive.
Wil's attention was on the senior manager who has an impressive educational background. Graduating from Ares University, getting triple promoted in just four years before becoming a Chief inventory control executive.
The only thing Wil didn't understand why this guy chose their Logistics Company when he can choose a much bigger one.
Compared to Scarlet Securities and the other subsidiaries, the logistics company is very smaller with only a couple of hundred million dollars of net worth.
Raising the document with the details of Oishi Takanori, when Wil enquired with the directors, everyone immediately turned their heads.
Wil followed the suit and found everyone is staring at one of the directors. "What happened?" He asked.
The director in his mid-sixties stood up from his seat, and said, "He's my son."
"Eh? Your son?" Wil was taken aback by surprise. "But, his surname is different from yours, kensaku-san… Ah! I see…"
Without him explaining, Wil understood what's going on.
Fujikawa Kensaku then revealed that his son took after his mother's surname after his parents' divorce. Despite that, the father and son were very close. This is the reason Oishi chose to work in the Scarlet group too…
Clearing his throat, Wil then announced, "I would like to propose appointing Mr. Oishi Takanori as the interim CEO of the Scarlet Securities for a period of four weeks. Should he prove himself, he can continue to be the CEO of the company. Any objections?"
Although most of them wanted to reject because of Oishi's young age, still, since Wil mentioned that he's temporary for the next month, they accepted the proposal, thinking that they would see his actions first before making a judgment.
