1420 The Deal And The Rescue

Su Mo had limited energy and he was unable to take care of everything.

However, he could replicate himself. His avatar was as powerful as he was.

His avatar could help to look after the Firmament Palace and develop it further and it could help him get more resources as well.

He would then have time to take care of other matters.

"I wonder how many avatars I can replicate!"

Su Mo muttered to himself. Although it was not difficult to replicate himself, many things were involved in doing so.

He needed to split his Spiritual Soul if he wanted to replicate himself but it would bring harm to him if there were too many avatars. Although all the avatars had their own lives, they shared the same memories. It would be taxing on Su Mo if there were too many of them.

This would apply if there were too many avatars, but if there were only one or two of them, it would not affect him.

"I have to replicate more of myself quickly!" Su Mo said within himself. However, there were no suitable bodies available at the moment.

Su Mo could not use the ordinary martial artist as his avatar and only the most powerful Martial Emperor Realm martial artist or even the Martial Honored Realm martial artist could be used.

He would not leave the Firmament Palace until he had obtained information about Nie Qian and Han Ying.

Time passed by quickly. Two weeks had passed and the disciples who had been sent out started to return.

Hai MingJiang had sent out 30 disciples who were at the Martial Royal Realm. Within a month, all of them had returned to the Firmament Palace.

All of them brought back the same piece of news. Gu Tianyi did not get Nie Qian and Han Ying out of the Torture Room.

Su Mo's heart sank when he heard it.

Gu Tianyi thought that Su Mo was dead and thus he could not be bothered with Nie Qian and Han Ying.

"What should I do?"

Su Mo muttered to himself as he sat in the loft. Should I look for Gu Tianyi and reveal myself to him?

Su Mo went into deep thought. Nie Qian and Han Ying had been locked up in the Torture Room for almost two years and he must not let them suffer any longer!

He could not think of a better way. The only way out was for him to look for Gu Tianyi.

However, once he looked for Gu Tianyi, he would not be able to get away.

After thinking for a long while, Su Mo decided to join the Imperial Ancestor Court for the moment. He would think of a way to get out of it in the future.

He would have to discuss this with Gu Tianyi to reach an agreement.

After Su Mo had made the decision, he bid Su Hong, Emperor Shi, and the rest farewell and left Tushan Town.

A few days later, he came to a city which was known as the East Yellow City.

The city was located in the eastern area of Shenwu Academy. As it was the nearest city to Shenwu Academy, many disciples of Shenwu Academy often came here.

Su Mo stayed at a prestigious inn known as Yellow Heavens and he worked on his cultivation as he waited.

In just half a day, he saw the person who he was waiting for.

"He is here!"

Su Mo opened his eyes. Although he was in the room, he had been observing the hall of the inn. He noticed a disciple from the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction in the hall.

Su Mo had met the disciple before but he did not know his name. However, it did not matter.

He immediately left his room and walked toward the hall.

When he reached the hall, he saw a fat youth in a purple shirt sitting beside the window, drinking by himself.

The disciple's cultivation level was only at Rank 5 Martial Emperor Realm.

"Brother, can I sit with you?" Su Mo asked as he stood opposite the youth, having withdrawn his aura.

When the youth heard Su Mo's question, he looked at Su Mo and started to frown as he saw that there were many empty seats in the hall.

He nodded when he saw that Su Mo's aura was unfathomable and he that had a high cultivation level.

After Su Mo sat beside the youth, he looked at him and asked, "Brother, I believe that you are a disciple of Shenwu Academy. I have a favor to ask of you."

"What is it?" The youth asked with a frown. He did not know the person who was before him, but this person had asked him for a favor.

"I have 20,000 Lower Spiritual Crystals here and they are for you!" Su Mo did not answer him immediately but he took out a storage ring and placed it before the youth.

"20,000 Lower Spiritual Crystals?"

The youth frowned and he did not take the storage ring. Although the remuneration was good, he had to find out what he had to do before agreeing to it.

"Brother, I only need a small favor from you. Can you inform Gu Tianyi, the Holy Son of the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction, that his friend is waiting for him at the Yellow Heavens Inn?" Su Mo said.

"Do you wish to meet the Holy Son?" When the youth heard what Su Mo had said, he was surprised. He could not understand why Su Mo did not go straight to Shenwu Academy to look for Gu Tianyi but had asked him to pass the message instead.

Why is he being so sneaky about it? Is he up to no good?

He was a member of the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction and he would not allow anyone to harm the Holy Son.

"That's right. I hope you can help me with this!" Su Mo nodded.

"What are you up to?" The youth asked. He was not tempted by the Spiritual Crystals.

"Hohoho. Brother, please do not worry. I just need you to pass a message to him and he will know what to do!" Su Mo said with a smile.

"What is it?" The youth asked curiously.

"You just need to tell him 'deal and rescue' and he will know what it means!" Su Mo said. This was the deal that he had made with Gu Tianyi. Su Mo had promised Gu Tianyi that he would leave his name on the True Sage Stele and Gu Tianyi would ask the King to rescue Nie Qian and Han Ying from the Torture Room.

"Is that all?"

When the youth heard that, he pondered for a while. He then nodded and said, "All right, I will help you!"

He agreed to pass the message as, by doing so, he could earn 20,000 Lower Spiritual Crystals. This was a good deal and there was no reason for him to reject it.

He did not know Su Mo's motive but he believed that the Holy Son would know what to do and thus he had nothing to worry about.

The youth took the storage ring and after checking it, he saw that there were indeed 20,000 Lower Spiritual Crystals and he immediately kept it.

"I will make a move and get back to Shenwu Academy now!" The youth cupped his fist at Su Mo as he stood up.

"I shall not see you off then!" Su Mo cupped his fist at him.

The youth then left the Yellow Heavens Inn and headed toward Shenwu Academy.

Su Mo sighed as he watched the youth leave, and he returned to his room to wait for Gu Tianyi.
