Chapter 214 - The Secret Floor

He had thought that the entrance would be something like a secret elevator or maybe a ventilation vent, however, now that he stood here in front of the entrance, he couldn't help but be a little shocked. 

Who could have guessed that the entrance to the secret floor would actually be just a tube slide?

Liang Feng didn't know if he wanted to laugh or cry as he looked at the tube slide. 

He turned on his phone and the ticking timer almost gave him a heart attack. He immediately kept the phone back in his pocket and jumped inside the slide. 

Everyone had chosen another floor because this secret floor looked to be the most difficult. The other floors were much more convenient to search, however, it seemed that the best option was to choose this one because, in just a few seconds, Liang Feng reached the secret floor below. 

The floor wasn't exactly empty but it wasn't filled either. 

"This is the surveillance room?" Liang Feng muttered to himself as he looked at the computer screens that were directly connected to the cameras all around this building. He could see the other players searching around on their assigned floors.. 

The yellow ticket was also not hard to find. It was kept right on the table and looked exactly identical to the one that Tian Xifeng was holding up. 

At this moment, as Liang Feng picked up the yellow ticket, he couldn't help but feel that he had really lucked out this time. 

He kept the ticket away inside his pocket and looked around to find a direct exit inside this room. 

He looked at his phone to see the timer that had paused. 

"Eh?" He muttered in confusion before slowly realizing what the cause of it was. 

The timer had stopped because he found the yellow ticket and it also meant that the system was personally monitoring them. 

His eyebrows creased together as he sat down at the chair in front of the monitors.

He looked at the others who were still trying to find the ticket and he wondered how he could help them. 

Liang Feng was quite a smart man and in just a few seconds, he was able to come up with a solution. He immediately rewinded the recording to a time when the yellow tickets had been placed there. By doing so, he was able to see who was the one that placed them there and he was also able to know where all the tickets were hidden in the building. 

Liang Feng squinted at the screen as he maximized a certain area and looked closely at the clothes worn by the people that had placed the ticket there. Just ten minutes before they came here, this building was immediately evacuated and men wearing black hoodies and masks had come to hide the tickets. Their clothes were identical to each other and it seemed that it was their work attire. 

"LHA...?" He muttered out loud as he tried to read the three-word logo printed on their black hoodies. 

He frowned as he tried to remember such a company but it was only natural that he couldn't remember it. 

Liang Feng sighed as he decided to search more on this 'LHA' company later. Right now, there was not much time left on their hands. 

Liang Feng immediately searched for the broadcast microphone and turned it on before helping the other players. 

"Yingli, to your right. There would be a desk. Look under it and you'll find the yellow ticket," Liang Feng announced, and without waiting to see what Li Ying's reaction would be, he moved on to the next person, "BBtrash, walk forward and lift the painting that you see. The locker code is 1212. The yellow ticket is there." 

Liang Feng took a sharp breath in as he turned to the other monitor and helped Zhou Xinyi as well, "Hulk, The pot on your left side. Break it. The yellow ticket is hidden inside it." 

For Liang Feng, helping the others was nothing more than just being nice and cooperative, therefore trying to earn everyone's trust so that they can work well together, However, for the players that were being helped, his voice sounded like the voice of an angel that had come to save them in their time of need. 

Thankfully, it was Liang Feng who was sent to this secret floor. If it had been Tian Xifeng or Wang GuiYing, they would have surely not helped even if they knew that they could help the other players. If it was Zhou Xinyi or Li Ying, those two would not have even realized that such a thing was possible. Zhihao and Li Ling need not even be mentioned cause even Liang Feng wasn't sure what those two would have done in this situation. 

"Li Ling, walk four steps forwards and five steps towards your right. You'll see a computer. Lift the mouse pad and you'll find the yellow ticket," Liang Feng helped Li Ling as well and he finally turned to the last person. 

They only had ten more seconds on their hands and Liang Feng looked to be much more stressed than the other players. 

"Mastermo, the black car in front of you. Look under it." 

Zhihao immediately got moving as he heard this. The car in front was at a bit of a distance away from him and hence he was forced to run. 

"Five seconds remaining," Liang Feng announced as he looked at the timer on the side of the computer screen. 

Zhihao gulped as he crouched down and looked under the car. At first, he couldn't see it and when he finally spotted it, his hands couldn't reach it. 

"Come on! Come on! Come on!" Zhihao chanted to himself as he stretched his hand to its full potential. 

"Three," Liang Feng gulped in worry as he glanced at the other monitors. Everyone had already found their tickets. It was only Zhihao who was still in the danger zone of elimination. 

"Two," Liang Feng's face looked to be seriously worried and stressed as he counted down. 

He bit his lips and couldn't take it anymore so he closed his eyes and announced, "One." 

"I got it!!" Zhihao exclaimed loudly as he stood up and held out the yellow ticket. 

He immediately turned on his phone only to see that his timer had stopped exactly at zero. 

He was stunned speechless for a minute as he kept his eyes on the phone screen and held his breath in. 

"Did I make it...?" He questioned to no one in particular. 

Liang Feng peeked open his eyes as he looked at the ticket in Zhihao's hand. He was also clueless about it.

Li Ling immediately came down to the parking lot and ran towards Zhihao as he asked, "Did you find it?" 

Zhihao gulped as he didn't say anything and simply showed Li Ling the screen. 

"What...?" Li Ling frowned and his eyebrows creased together as he also went silent. 

A minute passed as everyone's mind went blank. 

Zhihao felt his heart drop and he was almost on the verge of crying out loud, but before any tears could fall, everyone heard a loud notification sound. 

[Ding~] 

It was coming from their phones in unison. 

Zhihao gulped as he instantly looked down at the screen. 

[Congratulations to all ten players!] 

[Jiangshi - time saved: six minutes and four seconds.] 

[Kaze17 - time saved: five minutes and thirty seconds.]

[Loudbitchnextdoor - time saved: five minutes and twenty seconds.] 

[Andyzz - time saved: five minutes and one second.] 

[Richlord - time saved: four minutes and two seconds.] 

[T-Rex101 - time saved: three minutes.] 

[Yingli - time saved: one minute and seven seconds.] 

[BBtrash - time saved: fifty-four seconds.] 

[Hulk0_0 - time saved: thirty seconds.] 

[Devilmagiclover - time saved: twenty-two seconds.] 

[Mastermo - time saved: zero seconds.]

[You have managed to clear the level within ten minutes!] 

[Time is precious and the time that flows, never returns.]

[We shall now begin the next competition.] 

[Please turn on your smartphones and look for directions.] 

[You have five minutes to get to your next destination.] 

[Failing to adhere to the time given would result in an instant elimination.]

The voice that came from the speakers stopped and Zhihao gulped as he suddenly realized that he had indeed passed the level. 

"I'm still in the game..." Zhihao muttered in disbelief. Finding it a bit hard to believe that he had actually managed to make it on time. 

He felt like jumping around and celebrating, however, they were still running low on time. 

As soon as the female voice of the system stopped, their screens changed once again and now there was a new map with a brand new timer set for five minutes. 

"Damn it..." Li Ling cursed as he looked down at his smartphone and cursed. 

Liang Feng took control over the broadcast station again and instructed the rest, "Zhihao and Li Ling, you two get the cars ready and everyone try to get to the parking as fast as possible."
