259 Get Out of My House

Jin Qinggee finally dropped the facade and showed her true colors while she screamed out her lungs. "Ever since you were born, you always got all the love and attention from everyone, you took my share as well. Be it our parents, relatives, friends, or anyone else. What do you have that I don't? Yet I never took it to heart because you are my younger sister. But then you also decided to steal the man I loved and that, I could not take it. There was only one thing, love of Wu Zihao that I truly wanted for myself and you took away that as well from me. He was supposed to be mine and if that can't happen, you don't get him as well. Why is everything taken from me and given to you? Why should you get everything that yo—"

"Slap!"

Jin Qinggee felt her cheek stinging from pain due to the slap that her mother had just delivered on her cheek. "Don't you dare say a word more Qinggee."

She rubbed her cheek and glared at her sister, with a hurtful expression on her face. "See, it's still you over me, exactly like it has always been."

Jin Qingling stood motionless in her place, her eyes wide open and her lips parted, but no word coming out of it. She found it impossible to believe what her sister had just said. "I— I tried to steal...?"

"Now don't pretend like you didn't!" She sneered. "You took away everything that was dear to me. Everything!"

"Enough! Xiao Qinggee I never thought that you could do something like this and yet you still have the nerve to talk back." Mr. Jin stood up from his chair; the disappointed with his elder daughter was evident in his eyes. "Firstly you conspire against your sister, and then you go around boasting it as if you have done something to be proud of. Shame on you! I can't believe you are my daughter."

"I don't give a fuck about any of you anymore! Unlike the way you just pretended to love me, at least my love for Zihao was pure. And I have no regre—"

"Get out of my house."

"What?" As if unsure of what she heard, she turned to her father and asked to repeat.

"I said get out of the house." The aging man was done with the lost cause that his elder daughter had become. He could clearly see that she had now gone beyond the lines of reasoning and there was no point in explaining anything to her anymore.

"You heard me right. I want her to leave my house at this very moment." he then turned towards Jin Qinggee. "I don't want to be associated with a daughter like you that would only bring shame to my name."

"You really want me to leave? Why?"

"I think I made myself very clear on that." His face had no expression whatsoever anymore. "You have hurt my daughter enough and now I don't want my granddaughter to also suffer because of you. So as a father and a grandfather I need to make up for all their sufferings. The first part of which is to throw you out of this house and then I will go to Wu Zihao myself and tell him about his daughter. I am sure he will accept them back wholeheartedly."

"And am I not your daughter?" She hissed.

"Had you been one, you would never play such dirty games against your sister."

Jin Qingee stood numb in her place for a long period of time. After gathering her thoughts, she finally looked towards her parents for the one last time with a flickering light of hope that they might ask her to stay but all she saw in their eyes was spite for her.

"Didn't you hear Qinggee? I said get out. So take your belongings and leave."

As if trying to overcome her shock, Jin Qinggee blinked back her tears and dragged her feet inside the house to collect her belongings.

Jin Qingling looked at her retreating back with a suspicious look. From what she had by far understood about her sister, she found it odd when she agreed to leave the house so easily. It didn't really fit her ways of working.

Mrs. Jin went closer to her younger daughter and wiped the tears off her face before wrapping her in a warm motherly hug. "We are sorry Xiao Ling, we had no idea about what you were going through in your life and you had to suffer all alone. Forgive us for not being able to be with you through your toughest time."

"Don't apologize, mom. It was not your fault. Don't take the blame for her wrongdoings on your head." Jin Qingling hugged her mother back and her tears started rolling once again.

"Don't cry, child. It is all over now. We won't let you be alone anymore." Her soft hands gently caressed her daughter's hair.

"Aah!" The shrill cry of Xiao Li diverted the attention of everyone to the corner where she was sleeping. And what they saw, blew their minds.
